Bjørn, I believe that I looked at one of your videos a few years ago before I bought my Tesla Model Y. I enjoy your presentation and your sense of humor. I bought my Model Y during the pandemic and didn't test drive it. I hate the rough ride in the Model Y and daydream about trading it in for an EV with better suspension. But I won't do that, because my wife and I keep our cars forever, and I am seventy-five year old now. Apart from the suspension, I like everything about my Tesla - particularly the ascetic interior. When I sit alone in my Tesla, I feel almost like a monk in his cell.. Here's something that I'll bet no one ever mentions: A person doesn't have to wax the roof on a Model Y. Having to get on a ladder to wax the roof on a crossover is something I don't like and don't have to do now anymore. Your summary at the end reveals the extent to which you are Norwegian. "I have to know where your cabin is." To some foreign viewers, that will seem like a pretty random remark. i can imagine other foreign viewers googling "Norway polygamy laws regarding."
I went to Italy on holiday in my i6 and, apart from all our luggage, we came back with 3 big bags full of grocery shopping, plus a garden table and 2 chairs that we found in one Italian store. Yes, the boot opening is narrow and yes, it’s not a hatchback, but you’d be surprised to see how much stuff you can get in there
@@mikaellatchoumia2554I know this is a year old, but just in case. There are two other channels that often show the underneath of the cars (that I know of): Sarah N Tune and SavageGeese
In theory that should be it. But currently there is a bug in the IONIQ 6. Hyundai is aware of this issue, but not solved in the last firmware update :(
Great review, thanks. 2 Questions: What’s that cover for on the right in the Trunk, looks like a fluid refuel. Are the (rolling) buttons on the steering wheel not mirrored? Looked strange to me.
Great video! I watched it a few times already. I wanted to know how is the rear leg, thigh, and headroom in comparison to the Model 3? I'm looking at these 2 models as potential purchases. Especially the refreshed Model 3 Highland. It's just me, my teen daughter, and a Boston terrier. I live in a condo
I so want to like the Ioniq 6, but it just have couple of dealbreaker flaws. First one is the boot. Not acceptable to not have a liftback and so small boot opening. Also I have doubts that I cannot fit properly in drivers seat as I am 193cm tall. So maybe the model Y or Polestar 4 would be better options.
Really depends on you body proportion, and do not go for the ones with a panoramic roof. I am 199cm and have more than enough space. I even have more space and sit more comfortable than in my current BMW i4 (in which I can't even adjust the seat angle resulting in only my butt being supported).
In cities in the USA, it's not uncommon for a thief to smash a rear passenger window and reach around to fold down rear seats. That's not possible (or much harder) with the unlock button in the trunk.
Thanks Bjorn for your honest review of what is good and what is bad. As you said, the choice for a perfect fit depends on how many kid(s), and wive(s), dog(s), your hobby and how deep is your pocket 😂
Does Korea have snow? Yes. It snows in Korea every year in the mountains and ski resorts. It also snows in cities and other areas of Korea, but not as frequently. For the best chance to see snow in Korea, visit a ski resort or go hiking in one of Korea's national parks. 🤓
Regarding the range test. I believe that i-pedal puts the ioniq 5/6 in permanent awd mode? Worth looking into since those numbers could vary if in lvl 3 regen instead
@@bjornnyland We have an ioniq 5 and I can confirm this now. Seems to enable a higher regen level. When looking at the instrument cluster back axle does most of the work but front motor/axle is always doing something=not completely off
Clearly Hyundai designed the lower profile of the Ionic 6 to be as aerodynamic as possible but by doing so sacrificed headroom…this is not an issue for shorter drivers and small children but clearly will be a problem for taller drivers and teenage kids…IMO the Tesla Model 3 LR is better
if you call for emergency battery charge, they actually appear with v2l cable... and next gen e gmp will be equipped with v2v 100kw charging capabilities.
