I found these electric vehicle batteries at our local recycle place. In this video I take a battery apart to see what cells are in there, and whether I might be able to use them in my upcoming projects.
cool analysis. anything that can help more people recycle and reuse these things is good for us and the environment. Also, i wish more manufacturers would make it easy to have direct taps to each cell!!! Many of them do, but it is frustrating when the connector they use is some part that is only made for that auto manufacturer or something like that other than something common.

Yes they are identical. So they can be connected in series (48V) or parallel (24V). Watch the voltages though, as they are not the same as lead-acid. Voltage for a 48V system would range from about 36V empty to 48V full. So make sure your charger and appliances (or inverter) can handle that voltage range.
