Hey Gagan, amazing review as ever, I always wait for your review even if it is a couple of days late than others. One thing i'd like to point out, the request sensor being unavailable on passenger side might have been a recent cost cutting (in the past 5-6 years), I have a grand i10 and the request sensor is present on both the side. Hi Gagan, you have not review driving experience of tucson.. which is very surprising You are top Auto reviewer of auto industry.. and tucson is hyundai top seller in global and 6th most saleable car in world in 2023.
I drive this car here in North America and actually the indicator on bumper is a real good placement , if we look at the top we see the indicator on the side mirror and bumper indicator kind of is easy to catch from the eye , no complaints
i think there's another reason, when the boot is open, the brake lights and indicators should still be visible for safety reasons. if the indicators were with the brake lights, they would go out of sight when the boot is open!
Hello Gagan,when you make a road test drive video of this car please record the rpm meter in eco and comfort mode in city driving .I have a creta diesel automatic in which I can't upshift in lower rpm.It goes upto 2000rpm before upshifting which consumes a lot of fuel.I test drove a 8 speed Tucsan which upshifts at 1100 -1200 rpm that is good for fuel economy in city.
As usual very refreshing and honest review by Gagan. No fancy airs about anything but simple and easily understandable content. I will buy this purely from a safety point of view. Wish it also came with hybrid tech.
Same car I drove in Nepal at Pokra...white colour.....and to b honest I drove petrol model but power meroko feel nahi hua tha...... Same Hyundai ki creta abhi aisae kuch looks sath ayega
Good review but not as amazing as your older reviews of other cars. You missed an important feature of hidden rear wiper and the Hyundai logo embedded on the rear glass
Gagan bhai that makes the two of us pronounced it wrong and later realised. Jo purana version tha vo itna pasand tha ki iski images dekhi to pasand nahi aaya but ab it changed everything. Ye car experience hai way above my affordable range but one who can afford it . The diesel htrac version has features above it's class . I would chose it over an X5 which I love to death . It has everything I need . And this is something i would keep it for ever.

Practically speaking in Indian car market Hyundai found difficulty in attracting buyers beyond price range of Creta/Alcazar, and same difficulty faced by previous generation of Tucson.... No doubt Tucson now looks very good and is a feature rich car....Mahindra's XUV 700, MG Astor also providing almost same features in lower price range and saftety is also not jeopardized. Indian customers usually shift towards more premium brands when price range goes beyond 30 Lakhs. If company want good sale figures for Tucson then I feel Hyundai have to go aggressively regarding its pricing and this should be priced ex showroom between 20-26 Lakhs to remain in competion in this price range in indian car market. If price goes beyond 30L customers will shift towards more premium brands like Jeep, Audi, BMW...& it will be difficult for hyundai to sound as competitor even for Tata... Company has already started its booking since 18th July & launch was due on 4th August, which is now postponed to 10th of August.... Still company hasn't revealed how many bookings they have received, whereas they had revealed this booking number of 21000 incase of new Venue....
