If you are ready to keep the car with you for a while (>5yrs), new car will be cheaper (purchase cost, maintenance, fuel surcharges, resale value etc.) in long run [NEW CAR] Tiago v/s Sonet/Venue - you have chosen very good cars, but they are not comparable to each other.....where Tiago is a mid-size hatchback, Venue/Sonet are compact SUVs With 8Lac budget, Tiago gives you fully loaded top-end automatic variant, whereas Venue/Sonet only comes with base manual variant.......but since u are opting for CSD, I guess, you will get a handsome rebate Your Requirement v/s my suggestion: 500km monthly running - petrol engine Outer area of city - compact SUV New driver - automatic You can go for Venue SX Turbo iMT or Sonet HTK+ iMT.....there will be no clutch, so easy to drive.....both uses same engine, design is only deciding factor [USED CAR] Consider taking any experienced driver with you, so that the condition of the car could be evaluated before-hand What's your final decision.....let me know Hope it Helps!😁

Not really, coz the idling rpm is low............but once you get the clutch and accelerator combination right, you will never stall the engine

Thanks for watching 🙂 Both (Venue S and Sonet HTK) are practically same cars with different skins, so the final choice boils down to the design........ experience the cars and take the one which appeals u more from exterior as well as from the interiors Coz performance is same, ride is similar, and features are almost at par, and on top of that, both costs similar.......so design is the only distinguisher Happy buying😉

Both uses 1.2L engine with almost similar calibration and tuning.......so similar mileage, u can expect 13+kmpl in cities and 15+kmpl on highways with an optimised driving style

That lock unlock horn can easily be switched off Just hold the lock and unlock button in key for like 3 to 5 sec until the Indicators don't blink , after they blink the sound turns off did that on the delivery day of my venue same model.

Thanks again As such, I'll not call Venue underpowered Being a petrol engine, the peak performance comes in high RPM band, so no issues there But, being an Indian, fuel efficiency is our priority and hence we stay light on accelerator, so overtaking, sometimes, becomes an issue, especially when u are cruising at low engine speeds at high gear and u need sudden acceleration to overtake (which is the case with every petrol car)

Although both used same engine, so performance is more or less similar, but as per the ride comfort is concerned, Venue is more inclined towards highway runs, whereas i20 is good for both cities as well as highways . Venue S+ - looks muscular and big, but is less on features i20 Asta - looks premium, full of features . Value for money - well, that tag is more apt for Maruti Suzuki cars, but in this comparision, I would say either go for i20 Asta (under 10Lacs) or increase ur budget to 12.5Lacs for getting Venue SX(O) 1.0 Turbo

With almost similar fuel efficiency claims, Turbo GDi 1.0 engine is much more powerful and fun to drive But then it is costlier and is available with iMT and DCT automatic transmissions only

Only installing the Alloy wheels cannot affect the mileage ....... But change in tire size can.....(wider tyres improve grip and reduce mileage / bigger wheels or larger dia alloy reduces ride comfort and increase mileage ........this is a general perception) . So keep the tire size same as original, and enjoy the looks of new alloys w/o compromising on mileage . Hope it helps!😊

Yes, Venue S+ steals the show with a big feature list in front of Nexon XM and even next variant XM(S)........But, Nexon has got turbocharged engine, so more power and also has edge in ride & handling department If you are not much of a driving enthusiast, go with Venue S+, you will embrace the practical features......otherwise Nexon XM(S) is a good pick at same money (features might be little less, but driving pleasure will be commendable) Also, go for a test drive, coz sometimes, first impression changes the mood overall....and let me know your final choice... Venue might look a notch bigger than i20......but both of them share almost same kerb weight and the engine tuning is also very familiar So, on a hill highway, u will feel comfortable till the time u are travelling alone But if u are all packed up, the 1.2L engine starts to show the sluggishness at low RPM band and although the engine is refined and vibration free but it reacts loudly to heavy acceleration I'll recommend u to go for 1.0L turbo charged engine, if want extra punchy performance

Yes, both get 1.2L Kappa petrol engines in entry level trims.......but........Venue is not built on i20's platform.......the wheelbase, tyre size, engine tuning is different And therefore, u can't expect a drop in performance, just for the added weight in Venue Hope I answered it query😊

Since you need more city specific car, i would suggest you to go for Nexon (XZ+ Petrol Manual) There's nothing wrong with Venue or Sonet, but they will cost more at the time of purchasing as well as at the time of running and maintenance..... Bro i was planning to buy an used venue s variant 2020 march bs6 model petrol 1.2l 14000km run, apart from few scratches the vehicle has no issue and just did 3rd free service and spare tyre unused. what will be the good price?? My monthly ride is around 500-600km and 90% city driving. My family(3person) wanted to buy new sonet htk Variant as they didnt like venue design. Thanks for watching 😌 Venue S 1.2 new - 8.9Lakh on-road Chandigarh Used Venue S (as mentioned) - 6.5 to 7Lakh Sonet HTK - 9Lakh on-road Chandigarh Brezza VXi (my recommendation, as per your use)- 10Lakh on-road Chandigarh #1 if u are considering new car, venue and sonet are equally good, Design will be the final deal-breaker #2 if u go with used Venue, it will save you atleast 2Lakh rupees, which is also good considering we will have a lot of budget friendly EV cars in coming 3-5yrs and we can save money now to invest in an EV later #3 if budget is not a problem, I will suggest you to go for Brezza mid variant VXi, which is the best city driving compact SUV in my head Decision is all yours, all the best👍🏻

Both cost almost similar and here's the difference in a nutshell Brezza VXi - comes with bigger & stronger 1.5L engine (and being a Maruti, also produces decent mileage), steering is super light and suspension setup is softly tuned, which makes it a comfortable option, especially for city (and highway) drives Venue S+ - has a lot more bigger and practical equipment list when compared to Brezza VXi (Rear AC vents, Reverse Parking Camera Assist, Driver Armrest, Cornering Lights + Front Foglamps, Smartphone connectivity enabled Touchscreen Media Unit) and a better 3yr unlimited kms warranty for almost same money...........BUT.......... due to it's stiffer suspension setup and slightly lesser cabin space, it is not equally comfortable for city drive but makes an excellent highway machine Verdict - for mostly city/moderate highway travel, go with Brezza VXi.........for mostly highway touring, go with Venue S+ Hope it helps😊

What is the ground clearance of S/s+ varient?? Since 195mm seems to the ground clearance for top varients with 16inch wheels. S/s+ has 15inch. So is it 195-24mm =171mm??

You're absolutely true in the context you're talking.......but the calculation is little tricky... Venue gets 2 tyre profiles 195/65 R15 for lower trims and 215/60 R16 for higher trims 15" profile has a diameter of (195*0.65*2/25.4 + 15) = 24.98 inches 16" profile has a diameter of (215*0.60*2/25.4 + 16) = 26.15 inches So the difference comes out to be 1.17 inches For ground clearance, we take half of it i.e, 0.58 inches or 15mm Hence, technically,, if 16" variants have 195mm ground clearance, then with same chassis and suspension, 15" trims have 195-15=180mm ground clearance Hope it helps!

i got my venue e on feb4th mileage is about 12km/l bumer to bumper traffic and on highway somewhere around 16, the milegae will increase slightly after 3rd service... i installed stereo from aftermarket with sony speakers amazing sound experiance go for it ... without any doubt...

In 7-8Lac budget, we can only get AMT transmission (the entry level automatics) and few good options come out to be Santro [Asta], WagonR [ZXi], Grand i10 Nios [Magna], Tiago [XZA+], Swift [VXi], Kiger [RXT]....... . now there are different answers for different priorities, still my top 3 picks are as follows: Santro Asta AMT - comes under 7Lacs approx and u get the top end fully feature loaded variant Tiago XZA+ AMT - costs roughly 7.5Lacs, probably the best performance and the safest car in the lot Kiger RXT AMT - costs 7.8Lacs, and sluggest engine but u get a compact SUV shape with the biggest in-cabin space . U can choose as per ur priority, i would go for Santro Asta by the way (simply for the reliability quotient of Hyundai brand) Hope it helps! 😊

It's almost top variant premium hatchback vs entry level variant compact SUV........If u are ok with the hatchback shape, then Altroz XZ offers a better package for the money spent... And if u strictly want Venue, then atleast increase ur budget to S+ variant

Just one of the MANY concepts used to compare the performance of different cars - Power/Weight ratio Which comes out to be (82bhp/1.15ton=) 71 for Venue 1.2L petrol and (118bhp/1.2ton=) 98 for Venue 1.0L turbo petrol The same ratio for few other vehicles: Maruti Suzuki Alto (Petrol) - 64 Mahindra Scorpio (Diesel) - 65 Honda City (Petrol) - 108 So, it's subjective.......if u have been driving Alto in past, u will find 1.2L Venue to be quicker but it will seem sluggish when u compare it with Honda City. And of course, Turbo petrol Venue is way more fun to drive...... Hope it helps😊

It depends in which gear you are talking about...........2nd or 3rd gear at 60-80kmph will return you 10-11kmpl, but same speed in 5th gear in highway cruising conditions can fetch you 15+kmpl easily

Dzire VXi - better performance & mileage, bigger bootspace, cheaper (by almost 1Lac) Venue S - more comfortable seating, better build, commanding driving view Verdict : for mostly city use (and lil bit highway tours), Dzire VXi would be my choice hands down..........if ur requirement is mostly for highways, u can go for Venue S Hope it helps🙂

As u have already booked, I'm sure u might have liked the car........in my opinions, Venue is a very great product and S+ is a value for money varient...... coming to the performance front, it is not very powerful, if u compare it with venue turbo charged petrol variants, or the cars having 1.5L petrol engines or so, but it's more powerful when u compare it with cars like Alto having smaller engine So it depends from which car are u transitioning, if this is your first car, you will like the product

Brezza - if ur driving is mostly going to be in the city Venue - better quality material on interiors, plus a lot more feature rich if u go towards higher trims......and ride comfort is more suitable for highway drives

Sir my budget is approx 9 l... Mostly city driving... Have short listed to Kigar manual turbo rxt n venue 1.2 petrol s variant... Kigar gives more features n more powerful engine but it's a new product... So wat would be your pick... Thanks...

Practically, Kiger RXT 1.0 Turbo is much better as a package (considering the price point).......but I would still prefer Venue S or S+ (if budget can be stretched a lakh more) simply for the comfort of tried and tested Hyundai product technology What's ur choice?

Bhai company did gave key feature to lock and unlock the car.. I too own the same variant.. and don’t feel same issue... try unlocking the car via key at night... and your neighbour wouldn’t complain. 😀

there is option to mute lock-unlock sound. Press lock and unlock button at same time for 3 seconds.

It's very relative actually...... A person upgrading from 800cc alto will find venue very powerful....and another person downgrading from 1.5L Creta will find the same engine a lot less powerful And whenever any car gets fully loaded (maybe 5 person sitting or u are carrying a lot of luggage), u will feel a significant drop in performance, coz the same engine has to pull more weight Hope it helps......

I never suggest base variant of any car, due to lack of features......in that case, u can go for Venue S in almost similar pricing But here u get a bigger 1.5L engine in Brezza, so I'm more inclined towards Brezza here It's basically performance vs features......what u choose, becomes ur choice

Firstly, both cars have different body types, therefore the ride makes a difference here If u go on comparing these two on practical front, amaze is more comfortable and feels spacious somehow, has bigger boot, more fuel efficient engine, and much more efficient AC unit Whereas Venue gives u a boss feel on roads, as u drive seating a bit higher and has got a SUV inspired ride with firm suspension setup Experience both the cars, and u will get to know why they are different

They are practically same cars with different skins and brand badging, coz design is the only significant difference which is eventually a subjective thing........I would say, go and experience both the cars from inside, and choose anyone, u won't be wrong......btw, my choice will be Venue S+

It needs a cabin light in the front. At night it becomes difficult as light from the centrally located roof light doesn't provide much light.To reduce body roll, one can opt for 215/65 R15 tires or more.

If you are ok with Tata's brand image and Nexon designing, then there's not even a single thing that goes in favour of Venue, when we compare the base variants of two (although Nexon costs a bit more...) Nexon has got Turbocharged Engine (enhanced performance w/o compromising mileage), 5-star safety rating (ESP, TC, HC), and a relatively more spacious rear seat experience Hope it Helps😉

Yes, the shoot has been made possible with 2 cars, one petrol and a diesel one........BUT, the drive review has been shot for and on 1.2L petrol S variant only...and due to some internal problem, the team had to arrange for another venue (which happened to be diesel one) for completing the shoot and hence the B-Rolls (supporting shots) have been shot on diesel S variant WahooCars have never had and never will play with the trust of its audience...
