Hi Sir,Can you please suggest me a car between Venue S, Nissan Magnite Xv and Renault kiger (upcoming)
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
Of course Magnite seems to be a more value for money product at first instance (but lacks performance, coz a regular 1Ltr engine is really not justified for this size of car, if u go for 1L turbo, then it starts making sense........so only opt for XV turbo) Kiger is Magnite with a Renault skin and both the cars share so much in common (design becomes the major differentiator).......but u will have to wait till its launch (probably in February) Venue being a Hyundai product comes with reliability and a trust factor but then u get very less features in S variant......choice is urs P.S. Magnite is attracting a lot of buyers and hence the waiting time is 4-8 months depending on the city of booking

Hello sir, Excellent content..!! I am looking for a family car for around 10L onroad price. Would prefer having AMT and Sunroof. Nexon XMS(A) comes out to be am obvious choice. But the fit and finish of the car, the headnod, turbolag and it's after sale service is holding me back. Do you suggest me to consider Venue SX IMT or go with XMS(A) as a my first choice. Kindly suggest. Thanks in advance..🙏

@WahooCars 3 года назад
@Sanjay Powar Thanks for watching the content 😊 . I'm sorry but you have been mistaken........Venue doesn't come with automatic under 10L on-road (in-fact SX iMT costs 11L+) . Coming to Nexon XM(S) AMT, u have picked the right car coz 1. It fits ur budget perfectly 2. The fit and finish of the car is much better than rivals 3. There's no head nod as I didn't find any significant jerk in AMT (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z1Y1GR2e0Zs.html), atleast with a light foot on throttle 4. Be prepared for turbo-lag, coz it's a end-result of every turbocharged engine 5. The ride dynamics of Nexon impresses you the most 6. Last but not the least, it seems more value for money than most of its rivals For the after sales service part, Tata is doing its every bit to give a pleasurable experience to the customers, so I don't think it would be a problem now . Venue is also a fantastic product, but it makes sense when u buy the turbo DCT variants, which are costly Hope it helps😉

We are about to buy venue S+ in 9.5l Is it a right decision or we could have considered others,
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
As I mentioned in the video itself, S+ seems the most value for money variant........coz it gets all the essential practical features desired with a car of this range And with Hyundai, comes a class of design, which looks good even after the car ages So, I think, u will be very happy with ur decision

@@WahooCars sir , As a new buyer we will not be able to drive the car by ourselves before buying, and considering this to be a family car, at what speed and situation this engine feel underpowered as all said on youtube.
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
Whenever we compare two cars, we say one is powerful and other is relatively underpowered..... If u have ever driven 1.5L petrol engine, u can clearly say that 1.2L petrol engine feels underpowered But actually, engine has only one job.....to pull the weight of car, passengers and cargo And any car in the world will feel underpowered when driven with max load (with full seating capacity, 100% cargo loaded and may be going uphill....to add to the situation) So don't worry, Venue is not underpowered, it can handle any situation, but it's just that we have more powerful engines available in the segment (eg, 1.0L turbocharged petrol in Venue itself, 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine in Nexon, 1.5L petrol engine in Brezza or any Diesel engine for that matter) Hope u got my point!

One of the very few good auto reviews I have ever heard!! It will help me a lot as I am planning to upgrade from my current vehicle Wagon R Vxi after driving it for the last 9 years. I like high seating position and mostly sedate or relaxed type of person behind the wheel. Is Venue S plus 1.2 Kappa MT variant appropriate for me? Is there any serious under power issue? I am worried as I have mostly encountered 1 SX turbo petrol in my locality. Kindly help.....
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 2 года назад
I'm glad u found it helpful..... . Upgrading from WagonR to Venue......u will love the comfortable seating, overall interior and exterior designing, feature loaded cabin, and better ride handling......what will bother u for few weeks is the size of the car (but u will get used to it, sooner than u think) . and coming to performance of Kappa petrol 1.2L, yes u will find it a little more powerful than wagonR, but if u can go with turbo petrol, that will surely exceed ur expectations, it's very very punchy and quick (but then it costs extra for that) . I would recommend S+ 1.2 petrol (and SX 1.0 turbo only if u have the xtra 1.5Lakh budget) Decision is totally urs

I have booked Hyundai Venue s+ variant with 1.2 MT. As I will be upgrading from WagonR 1.0 MT and with relaxed driving style the 1.2 litre Kappa engine is just decent for me. I have also test driven the car and found it okay for me. I believe the car looks great from side with the diamond cut 16" alloys in the sx trim which I will definitely miss. But I think the 15" steel wheel with a slightly thick tyre is justified for this s+ variant commensurating with the engine power of the car. I won't regret missing the sun roof as I don't think it very necessary for me living in a semi urban area. I mostly drive in congested road or crowded stretches of highway adjoining city that's why cruise control is of little use for me. After all the value proposition of s+ looked great to me fulfilling most of my requirements.

Magnite non turbo XV is vfm or not for City driving only
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
Yes, a 1000cc engine will feel underpowered on a compact SUV with almost a ton weight........but for strictly city drives, it will be ok (especially if you're not fond of revving the engine).......and the positive side of the coin is lesser initial price and good mileage What's your choice?

Greetings ! First of all, please accept my compliments for critical evaluation of each model with your in-depth analysis. This helps a viewer like me to understand what each variant of Venue 2021 offers. Please bear with me as I do not have technical knowledge about engine power, engine CC and torque. I am confused as to how this is important. Let me explain where I am coming from. I have been using Hyundai Xcent 2014 model, variant SX with VTVT engine. I compared engine CC, torque and Horse Power of my Xcent with Venue to find absolutely no difference. Thus, I am bit nervous as to why I need to buy a car with same power but at a higher price. Secondly, features explained by you in S+ are currently available in my Xcent - for example, day and night mirror, rear parking sensor with camera, electrical ORVMs,etc. Thus, barring safety features which are mandated by the GOI, I do not see unique feature. Why I am interested in Venue? (1) It is BS VI and my existing car is BS IV. (2) Now I want to shift from Sedan to mini-SUV. Please let me have your value opinion. Does it make sense to graduate from Xcent to Venue? or Meanwhile, I am also studying Kia Sonet HTK+. Thanks and bear with me for rather lengthy comment.
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
Thank you for watching the video😀 Engine is the heart of any car, the larger it is, the easier it gets to pull the load. Transmission is the route through which the engine power gets transferred to the wheels. Let’s keep it this basic only… You are seeing no change in power/torque figures, because Hyundai is using 1.2L kappa petrol engine since a while now and it can be currently seen in Grand i10, New Gen. i20, Aura (Xcent replacement) and Venue…...although the engine refinement and mileage claims have shown a minor improvement. Let's move to the important discussion now...... 2014 Xcent SX v/s 2021 Venue S+ The features are more or less same, but i would say they have got better coz u get: 1. AC - but automatic one + rear AC vents too 2. a reverse parking camera - but w guidelines. 3. In addition u get LED DRLs, fog lights, automatic headlamps (missing on Xcent) 4. And smartphone connectivity in a touchscreen-based media unit 5. And yes, a significant addition in safety as u mentioned So sheeling out more money makes sense, given above features Coming to the upgradation (compact sedan to compact SUV) 1. The in-cabin space is more or less same only, except for a little better rear seat experience 2. The height of venue allows a better ingress & egress relatively 3. Most importantly, a much higher ground clearance gives u the confidence to go on any stretch of road w/o any worry 4. Be ready to see a compromise on boot-space......but the advantage here is, u can fold the rear seat of Venue and extend the boot in case the rear seat is unoccupied (that is not possible in sedans coz they are 4-door cars) 5. From the ride comfort point of view, both are similar (Xcent is a minutely ahead I would say) I don't know if u know this or not, but Hyundai is the parent company for Kia and hence u will find a lot of similarities in similar-priced variants of Venue and Sonet... Sonet HTK+ v/s Venue S+ 1. Sonet offers wider (add to a comfortable drive) and bigger tyres (aesthetically appealing) 2. Sonet does not offer child seat anchors (in case u have small kids at home and u use a child seat for them) 3. If u are habitual of using the cooled glove box of ur Xcent, then only Venue gets that and Sonet misses out on that 4. Rest, 95% of the DNA is same on both the cars feature-wise So the final choice comes down to the exterior and interior design, which is a subjective thing and u will have to check it out personally Verdict: If I were u, I would have picked venue S+, coz its a Hyundai product and hence comes with a reliability (No offence to Sonet, its a very good car but kia is still a new brand and is striving to match its shoulder with its parent company) Hope it lowered down ur nervousness! 😉 All the best for ur next purchase!

Which SUV car (bace variants) best to buy under 10 lakhs on road price?
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
If you only wanna consider the base variants (under 10lakh), then : 1. Urban Cruiser [Mid Grade ~ 9.5Lacs] - most feature packed, and mileage king (coz brezza equivalent) 2. XUV300 [W4 ~ 9Lacs] - most powerful of the lot 3. EcoSport [Ambiente ~ 9Lacs] - comes w telematics connected car tech *You can also look for Nexon Base +1 [XM ~ 9Lacs], the safest pick with value for money features You have to see what suits ur requirement the best.......let me know your pick *the prices are on-road Delhi indicative, as in February'21

@@WahooCars Bro I booked Venue S+ today. Thanks for your suggestion. Will you recommend to change 16' alloy wheels for this varient. Will it effect milage and suspension? Based on your reply I will take a decision.
@WahooCars
@WahooCars 3 года назад
215/60 R16 is used in top variants of Venue, so u can exactly copy paste that profile Coz u are going from 15" to 16" (rim size), mileage will improve Coz u are going from 195 to 215 (section/width of tyre), grip and cornering will improve, mileage will go down And from 65 to 60 (aspect ratio), comfort will drop a bit and steering/handling will imrove a bit . In a nutshell, mileage will remain more or less similar, but driving pleasure will increase significantly and brand knows this, that's why they provide 215/60 R16 only in top variants . Another choice can be 205/60 R 16 which will be slightly cheaper
