140journos projesinin düşünsel altyapısını oluşturan isimlerden Cem, ortaokul ve liseyi İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Konservatuarı'nda halk müziği ve sanat müziği, üniversiteyi ise İTÜ ve Conservatorio Santa Cecilia'da klasik müzik ve bestecilik eğitimi alarak sürdürdü. Çeşitli kurumlardaki öğretmenlik ve sanat danışmanlığı sonrasında merkezinde bürokratik hiyerarşinin ve paranın olduğu iş ahlakına karşı kamu odaklı çalışmalar yaratmaya başladı. Fikrin kaynağının kişinin kendi derdi olması gerektiğini düşünen ve projelerini sinirinin üzerine inşa eden Cem, bu siniri 2011'den beri Yaratıcı Fikirler Enstitüsü'nde yatıştırmaya çalışıyor ve karşı medya hareketi 140journos üzerinden toplumun değişen haber alma ihtiyaçlarını inceliyor.
One of the names involved in creating the intellectual infrastructure of 140 journos project, Cem studied middle school and high school in Istanbul Technical University Conservatory on folk music and Turkish classical music. He continued on to university in ITU and Conservatorio Santa Cecilia focusing his education on classical music and composing. After teaching and doing music consultation in various organizations, he started to create projects which centered on opposing work ethics with a focus on on bureaucratic hierarchy and finance. Believing that the origin of ideas should only be the concern of the individual, Cem bases his projects on his aggression and since 2011, tries to calm this aggression in the Creative Ideas Institute and researches public's need to receive changing news through the opposition media movement: 140journos.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
