I’ll NEVER Use R1 on PS5 Again (DualSense Edge) 

I move R1 to R2 and R2 to the back button. Same for the left buttons. This way I can ‘rest’ my fingers on them. Not having to move my index fingers to another button. Not sure if it really helps but might a little?

​@@1blktalon Nice idea, I changed the way I hold the controller once I played OW2, so my pinter is always on R1 and middle on R2 and ring on the back button, was hard to get used to but now I'm ok with it! back buttons have a very fast response for rapid-fire btw.

i use R2 (and L2) at 50% deadzone in call of duty settings 👀 mostly to prevent accidental taps of ADS and FIRE but also there is a faster release time because it doesnt need to wait for 0 to release it releases at 50% :)

having them on a lower zone could be better, but since I tested clicky triggers on my modified controller, there wasn't a noticeable delay difference unless someone feels more comfortable that way! which many people do tbh.

my r2 button on my dualsense edge is “gummy” (harder to press) any fix?

@@t.rxck. same on both my controllers they stick or don’t operate when pressed. So I switched to R1 L1

They couldn’t do digital triggers without taking away adaptive triggers

Hi, for typical DualSense, BT is typically better due to a higher polling rate, unless you have a BT problem, about HDCP, it really depends on the game, in most new games it won't affect much, in COD 120Hz mode it was only 1-2ms...

@@DanielZH it’s called instamorph moldable plastic. I should also mention I added instamorph on the bottom side. To make the grip larger and hand fitted, with fingers grooves. Basically custom grip that removes all the hand cramping stress of holding the so very small controller. For long sessions. You know this pain. I’ve also experimented with raising the height of x,o,square and triangle buttons when using the tall joystick pads. It really cuts down on thumb travel time. Using instamorph Don’t put the plastic directly on the controller..Put tape down where you want to place the plastic ,I used not so sticky blue painters tape. It stays on but will fall off eventually. Long enough for testing . You could try a stickier tape . What I do after the pieces have Cooled and hardened is remove from controller and reattach using non permanent rubber cement. Tips. Once your pieces are made you can add more if need it sticks to itself really well or you can remove small amounts by heating the plastic with a cigarette lighter or hot air gun while it still attached to the controller. The instructions tell you to use boiling water. But I don’t do that because I use a heat gun and bic cigarette lighter. Its faster Check out videos on instamorph or moldable plastic beads so many ideas will pop in your head with what you can to make your controller ergonomically perfect for you Make the grips and the stops. As the first test is signal to Action, the deviation won't affect, but once the signal is sent, about the second question, for each game and each button, I tested them 10 times and the average is from 10 tests per controller / per game/per button = at least 30-60 tests.

I agree, I was the same but on PS4 and PS5 it was more comfortable to me on R2.

I'd say it varies from game to game and how developers implement the fidelity and performance modes. There is no universal recommendation, I believe.

Idk I play flipped shh just feels more responsive and accurate.. even with my deadzone on the triggers at 0... now don't get me wrong.. I do feel the diff. In the triggers.. but still feels like it's lil delay.. compared to L1/R1 witch feel sticky.. compared to the triggers... I play stick & move flipped

I’d suggest running 1440p as it can run games 120fps if your monitor supports it. I have a g2724d and it also supports an upscale 4k signal but I choose 1440p for 120fps games

Hi, I no longer have a PS4 controller, but I think there are videos about that, however, the un-overclocked controller has a delay of 4ms in idle, that's not much on PC.

Between the two you mentioned, probably mouse click L1 R1 due to position, try and see which is more comfortable to you, R1 or R2.

0-100 does the same job, but on stopper 3 yes, that's the fastest in terms of signal to action, however, the difference isn't huge! if you're used to R1, just use R1.

Yes, they only stay valid as long as the controller is connected to PS5 & PC at the same time, and for that, you need a USB duplicator or connect to PS5 by BT and PC with USB but that way PS5 takes control over the light and it flashes! I only do it for videos to look cool, otherwise, it's too much setup, I hope Sony adds this to PS5 software someday.

What is better for call of duty…0-1 or 0-100 based on your testing? I can see R2 default is faster than 0-1 and 99-100 on your video.

@@ahmedebrahimi7128 That was the human test, in terms of travel distance, 0-1 or 0-100 starts faster than 99 as you need to go further. I use 0-100 unless the game has dead zone on R2 then I choose 0-1.

Because of Software limitations and most TVs are capped at 120FPS, they don't bother to optimize for other res and rare cases... we didn't even have 1440p for over years after release.

for automatic weapons or 1 shot like snipers, R2 is faster, but R1 might be more comfortable for Rapid weapons.
