Betrayals from people we trust can be the greatest trials we go through. One of the reasons I like stories like these is that they're great examples of what not to do. Communicate and allow them to disprove the evidence before throwing away your marriage, the most important thing in your life. The greatest victim in this is OP's husband who lost his wife, sister, and childhood friend all in one moment. I don't know how he will be able to trust again.
You and all those hurt by this needs to hire a lawyer and sue the crap out of the sister and friend. Even if they are broke the settlement will follow them for the rest of their lives.
My SO could be accused of murder and I would still ask them for their side, if I didn't treat them above others why would I bother having them as my SO in the first place?
In the same situation as OP I gotta be honest I probably would have done the same thing. On the flip side if I was the husband there is absolutely no way I’d stay married to her. Sorry, but after all that I wouldn’t be able to trust she wouldn’t blow the relationship up again.
Then don't ever get married. Marriage is for adults, not for children. If you are going to believe in your SIL very easy to manufacture proof then you are not mentally developed enough to be able to consent to marriage.
I mean it's a screwed up situation and all Op really can do is try to be receptive and ask what Jamie wants to do. I feel for that op but relationship are built on trust and honesty they both are vital and she need to make great strides to prove she is worth staying and the way to do this is through your actions but at the end of the day it's his choice

It's your own fault for not trusting your husband. When you presented him with proof, and he still is denying all allegations you should of went to someone that could tell if the pictures were photoshopped or not. It's your own fault.

The only people who are victims are OP and her husband. They might want to try seeing things from each others perspective. What's OP supposed to do? Have no self-respect when given evidence? Even if they are well forged? She's the one put in a tough place. Love is great but no one wants to be a fool hanging around for someone who is cheating, especially if they can't prove otherwise. It's heartbreaking. Also... maybe OP should move on because that's the kind of family drama you'd never need outside enemies for. I'm not in for drama. No, the only victims are OP's husband, his colleague and her husband. OP is naive and impulsive this is why she made a situation that was bad even worse. She could have done some research but decided the lie fitted her own narrative. She even admits it in her post. OP's husband is better off without her in the long term since naive, impulsive and vengeful are a bad combination for a partner's trait.
I would say the husbands and the coworker were primarily the victims. Op was manipulated; however, she was the one who took the evidence as facts and ran with it. That was her marriage and husband. She didn't let the husband speak nor did she hire a PI. She is a victim to herself. I don't have much sympathy for idiocy.
@Ferrarix777 That still doesn't mean she's not a victim. Both she or the husband could have hired a PI but didn't. It's a stressful situation for any person. Look at it from both the husband and wife's perspective. The husband is heartbroken, but he would be trying to prove his own sister is lying, and the evidence is not real. That he is not cheating. He'd be upset that his wife isn't listening to him. He can hire a PI. The wife would be heartbroken. The man she loves has possibly betrayed her. She is looking at evidence given to her. Unlike her husbands words, she is holding the evidence in her hand. There is someone related to the husband who loves her husband and is telling her that he is cheating. His own relative is telling her that he is cheating. She's even supporting that claim with evidence. Personally, I would hire a PI, EVEN if he doesn't. Then I would leave. Any person in my life who will not do the work to show I can trust them to prove their own innocence when they are accused as someone who is trying to hurt me, is not worth my time. ESPECIALLY if their family is like this. I don't need words and empty promises. I need action. I do the same as well. If someone shows "evidence" that I'm doing something to hurt my loved ones. I don't just talk about my innocence. I prove it. For my name. My reputation. Because I know that they deserve to protect themselves and I want them to protect themselves, even from me. Whether it's me being rude or taking out my anger on them, me lying or me ignoring them, etc... it doesn't matter. I'm being accused. I WILL prove that I am not the one hurting my loved ones if I can. Again. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying that both of them expect different things in how to handle that situation. They shouldn't be together if they're not working together. They both deserve to be protected and heard, BUT they didn't work together. They shouldn't be together unless they want to work through how to deal with such a situation and their issues about it. It's the weekend now. Have a good one, bro. Well the problem is that book is a "religious" text. (Though how anyone can call it a religion is beyond me, given how the main character in it is a ped0) and we don't want religion in the youtube comments
