I've never been in this situation myself but the Vinted forum as full of people saying they've been scammed mostly by fake trainers or watches etc but if you've ever tried to contact Vinted you'll know it's virtually impossibly to get any help & i don't think anyone has ever spoken to anyone on the phone, however if you've paud £350 & it is a scam then definitely do not put it down to experience, its a theft & if Vinted don't give you a full refund then report it to the police, if you don't the seller will do it again to someone else, £350 is a huge amount of money to lose... Anyone reading this take note that Vinted is fine for 70% of transactions but don't buy anything expensive.... Check the sellers account, if they have no feedback then don't buy it.... Hot items are trainers, designer gear, electronic goods etc... You'll find the photos used in the ads are generic, often taken from ads on Ebay etc, the item doesn't exist.... One buyer bought a Charlotte Tilbury 'advent' calendar consisting of individual boxes of cosmetics, upon receipt every box was empty, but how do you prove it, it's one word against another.... Good luck, please give an update on how it goes

Iv never had a problem with vinted but would never go for high priced items. I find it great for gym wear and discontinued items. Scammers are everywhere you can’t avoid them.

It was inpost but they work with Royal Mail so it transferred over to them. It’s covered I just have to wait until the 2 week mark to claim back x

@@DemiDonnellyah I just thought oh no not Royal Mail. Two weeks is a long time to wait just keep tracking it weird it says that about your address though was it to home or another locker, this method does only include £50 max compensation though

@@jemmaj2919they won’t get the money until two days after the item is delivered and no issues are raised within that two days however if they send somethin broken, fake or just rubbish then it’s your word against theirs and the sender always has that chance that they will get the paid
