The Asantes usually do well with giving/sharing. They're like igbos. They can dash you a house etc just because they like you
@danielchukwu4212
@danielchukwu4212 Год назад
Absolutely. Things changed starting from the 1978 onwards when Ghana’s economy collapsed before the June 4 revolution, most people were not having enough food to eat talk less sharing with others. And besides Nigerians don’t harbor resentment, hatred and envy towards other people and they can easily move on after a quarrel or misunderstanding with someone but Ghanaians generally are not like that, they love to be in the limelight than to see other people being in that situation. Am half Ghanaian so am speaking from experience

@@danielchukwu4212 true. When people come into money, like is beginning to happen to a lot of Ghanaians, they become more generous too. And there're pros and cons to both the Ghanaian 'phlegmatic' style and the Nigerian sanguine style

Going to houses to beg for foods is normally done in our villages, it happens even till now, I went to visit my mom in the village, someone came to our house with her cup to ask for rain water to drink, early in the morning o. Also the Christmas thing, madam we do it. It all depends on the neighborhood you find yourself.

About the passport. Unfortunately some of our Naija brothers especially have managed to lay their hands on Gh passport in the past,used it as identification abroad. Then they engage in dubious activities and when caught identify as Ghanaians. It has caused Gh alot of pain and still is. Remember Gh passport is a valuable document,very premium. Thats why Gh people are quick to investigate anyone with an Anago accent carrying a Gh passport. Cant blame us:can you?

Gas refer to Naija usually Yuroba as anaago … the Akans refer to Yurobas as alata… the Yurobas are on the western part of Nigeria and hence closer to ghana so they historically were numerous throughout the country… the delta people of Nigeria due to their relation to the ports were found along the coast .. also the Gas have their origins between the Oyo and Midwestern Nigerian kingdoms of old .. so the Gas pick up Yuroba really easy … just a cursory social history so I stand corrected
