Driven through the area before, by far the best scenic Interstate that I have ever seen. Definitely recommend driving through U.S. Route 60 / Midland Trail, in WV, was definetly breathtaking in my opinion
I was fortunate to drive Interstate 77 north the full length of West Virginia in Feb 2021, such a beautiful drive. It's amazing how well Interstates are built in mountainous and hilly ares. So much smoother and easier to drive than old and local roads. Both are are fun drives. Thanks for sharing this video in 4k.
I drive this route about once every week and I would like to tell out of state drivers to PLEASE watch your speed in the Camp Creek area. It will wreck you if you are not used to it's sudden curves. Also, concerning tractor trailers, they have several blind spots all the way around them. There are several "Right lane ends" signs so stay in the center lane and give the semi's plenty of room to merge in front of you. Finally, don't linger in their blind spots. When you see the chance to safely pass them give it the gas and get out of their blind spots as fast as possible. Definitely DO NOT cut in front of them until you see their front ends in both your rear view mirror and your right side mirror. Plus, you will need to be on the lookout for semi's trying to push you down the road from behind as you enter East River Mountain Tunnel heading into WV from VA. DO NOT brake check them or you will be crushed.
Love to visit just for a good breakfast at a 5star restaurant. When I belch it would be all worth the drive. Lol dont know. Just heard West Virginia has the best eggs.Meanwhile keep going Mike🚘🚙
