I’m newer to playing small stakes in hard rock Tampa and it’s nice u don’t do what many others do and only show the wins. I find my self in this spot and it helps to know this happens when u play every day…great vlog man!
I clicked the like button for your transparency and great representation…. You are on the right grinding track and keep hitting those tables because in the long run your game will be an upswing. Gd job sir!!!
It's great to see vids when you win, but the analysis is worth it too in every one and it's great that you apply rationality and thoughtfulness even on the downswings. Keep it up sir!!
Personally, I really enjoyed this vlog. I'm so happy for you when you post a winning session, but it helps to see the realities of what occurs when playing for a living. It also makes me root for you that much more when you do have a good session. It's admirable to see you take the loss in stride. Kept it up! Better luck next time.
Ruger is soooooo happy to see you. Remember, he is part of your world, but you are ALL of his. Not getting your huge winners on video and losing is THE WHOLE GAME! You win, you lose. That's Poker.
Love your vlogs! And thank you for showing the real side of being a pro poker player. I definitely prefer the real genuine vlogs over some of these fake vloggers who claim to win the "biggest win of my life" on every other poker vlog.
I really appreciate when vloggers post their losing sessions. As someone who is just starting out losing sessions make me question myself a lot but it’s nice to remember that it happens to everyone. Great video! 🤘
Some days we just have to suck it up and learn how to manage negative feelings/emotions. By sharing some of your days like this, you show us the reality of the poker player life.. ups and downs. Thanks and better luck next session.
Thanks for your continuous content, Lex. It's great to see your poker stakes progression. Win, lose, or bad beat...you provide real content. Good luck on the felt!!
Keep up the good work brother you are doing a great job you have been down this rabbit hole before and you will turn it around you are a very skilled player
Really appreciate this video!! I'm going through a similar down swing where I'm consistently losing small to medium pots and I don't play every day, so it's wearing on me. Seeing this video reminded some of the best out there go through the same.
I think viewers me included enjoy watching sessions they can relate to. Although there weren’t a ton of monsters It’s still fun to sweat the action and hear your thought processing. Better luck next session 🤘
love your sessions and your humble voice-over. I enjoy watching your vids and your strats on every hand you got involved into. Good Luck and make more next game
I feel ya pimpin…..Experiencing that myself and yet listening to your positive words and it once again reminds me that the swings will come and go as long as Im playing my best poker the journey continues!!!! LETS GO!!!!
Basically, you maintained a prudent Range... The Flops were not cooperating. Thank you for posting. Glad you didn't try running monster-bluffs out of frustration.
Thanks for sharing your losses too. It gives us poker players hope when we are on a down swing watching crushers like you go on down swings. Good luck grinding out of it. You got this!
Thanks so for sharing. I like seeing these boring sessions too as that's part of the game. You were playing well, otherwise getting no flops, you could have lost much more.
I am happy you posted this video, it shows the true representation of poker. I play poker and you have to deal with variance, and you have to deal with good/bad sessions, exciting and boring sessions. Great video! Hope you play in the WPT this December would love to meet you!
Man i just started playing 2 5 again here and there and it feels like i cant hit a hand and im playing way too aggressive.. im glad you showed this vlog because this is the way poker is !!!
Regardless of how well you play, you still need to make the best hand pretty often. Most players who had your cards would have lost more. It will be your day to smash the game when your luck improves!
I had to scratch and claw my way back today at the poker table. I eventuallly ran my KK into AA preflop for everything against todays Table Nemesis. I hit the K on the flop and Homeboy blew his top. 1350 pot put me a little past even and my Win Streak continues. After get cornholed early on ALL my runouts, it was nice to get lucky myself.
It was pretty aggressive especially when Lex has a range advantage but I actually don’t mind it when you have backdoor clubs. Pretty advanced play imo blocking sets and 2 pair and having back door equity
Loved ur video today. Sometimes this is how poker goes. There were couple of spots u couldve gone for the bluff and get owned. You dodged them very well, and i would say thats a win! Ur session couldve easily been -10k/20k. It is best not to battle someone either rec or reg who is running hot, especially when u r not running good. Great job on ur session and this video. Just subed today!
I'm working through my first prolonged downswing on my graph. It's been like 8 months. I need to make adjustments and I am. There's always something to learn or get better at.
Vedio was great as always..I always look forward to watching new ones when you post them and you excellent player..I do have question you mentioned in past that if table is not good for whatever reason whether it's bunch of pros or if you getting coolered it's time to switch table or something...my question if u at table and someone is sun running do I feel like it's time to move from tbem cause it seems like they can't loose even if they not better player??
Always nice to see you, shame about the downswing. A suggestion, i think I'd prefer not to know which hand is the last one of the night. It seems to defuse the tension, as I can pretty well gauge if you'll wind up winning or losing on the night at that point. It's more exciting, I think, to keep us guessing.
Before I see the flop on the KhKd hand at 7:00 +/-, I TOTALLY agree with a flat out of position. Considering his $2,500 stack and your willingness to get stacks in no matter what, let him jam, even with an A-high flop🤮. You've seen this done with QQ & JJ too, Lex! GREAT play pre - now let's watch the outcome...🤔
Love the videos and the honest side of poker. Have you ever come up and played at Orange City poker and racing room? Some really good action there. Also was wondering if you ever do any coaching? I live in Central Florida and would love to come down to seminole and play and maybe get some tips and guidance. Love the channel and maybe I'll see you at seminole when I get down there.
Sucks having a rough session like that, sorry dude always rooting for a big W for you! I feel like the KJo hand was a little spray though, I think you can just fold flop given his 2/3 sizing since you don’t really have flush equity, and you’re not that happy with your pair outs. Also holding the J it’s just too think for value on the turn blocking the major draw.
Define Euro pro. In what way do they play differently than any other pro. What are their tendencies? Always love when you hit a card that helps you but improves your opponent. 😢
