I feel like these things would be more fun if scouting vehicles could lase targets for you. Replace the binoculars for scouting with a target designator, that lets laser guided weapons that you’d find on many aircraft home in. It’d add a new layer to ground battles that I think would work great.

You’re better off using the guided bombs against AA, they don’t tend to move as much and you can maintain some altitude to stay out of their range.

In defence of the guided bombs and rockets, they do give you the possibility to more accurately get your ordinance on point from further away, with a less precise setup. All in all they help you reduce the time needed on target, and delivers it more accurate despite airspeed, angle, and any other manoeuvring you’re doing. Kinda like dumb hellfires.

I think the games need to last 10 min longer on average. That's why I prefer single cap maps or two base caps because they last the longest.

The bomb gets there quick because it's traveling at relatively the speed you are going plus factor in the speed of it falling. The inertia of the forward momentum is carried forward with the plane like a bow and arrow. Except the whole plane is the bowstring and the bomb the arrow. If you could see the target from so far away and so high, you should be able to throw the bomb from very high and far and not even risk AAA

The TV guided bombs are actually really useful against SPAA. since most of them stay stationary, you can drop the guided bombs way beyond their range. Good standoff weapons.

The lowest lethal dose LDLo for the oral consumption is 1000mg/kg. The LD50 (median lethal dose) is around 3000mg/kg determined by dosing rats. This is taken into account over a 4 hour time period

The average lethal dose of salt is 4 tablespoons or about 25 grams for an adult and less than 5 teaspoons or 10 grams in children. Seriously though, don’t do any sort of salt challenge. You’ll die of a cardiac arrest and that extremely painful.

Before the update i reliably got 10-13 kills a round at British air ab 3.0 (I know that doesnt take a lot of skill but it was fun) I feel lucky if I get 2-3 kills over the last 2 days. I havent been playing different idk what happened.

If anyone's watching this to see if it's worth it just keep in mind that now both the tv guided bombs and missiles lock onto targets including air targets but you do still have the option of just locking the ground and about 70 flares/chaff

Best way to cool off in WT is to play Tier II, imo. Maybe take the Ki-61’s out for a spin: Gaijin just lowered their stall speeds so they take off faster and turn tighter

The War Thunder top tier experience. Grind a top tier plane/tank for literally an entire year of your life. Play said vehicle in matches that are over in 3 minutes. Fun...?

Idk if anyone else has noticed but once you get a few thousand meters up the ground texture switches to a lower res version that usually appears above (?) the normal one and can completely hide tanks. On some maps it seems to be map wide but I’m not sure. I’ve been watching something as I climbed and had them disappear and reappear when I dove back on them

What may help... crazy idea, I know... don't stay at WEP and fly at MACH 1.0 the entire time, and you'll have; better turning radius, better handling, more time to acquire a target, more room for your guided munitions to point where you're firing them, AND *drumroll* save more fuel which requires you to carry less of it which then makes your plane lighter allowing you to maneuver better. But hey, I guess it's easier to blame the game for you flying like a typical war thunder "pilot".

Phlee, play the I-185 (M-82) for CAS. It is WAAAAAY underrated (3x20mm with powerphul AP + bombs/rockets). It's also really phast.

Hey Phly, can you try doing Shackleton CAS? It has no turret coverage below it, and is apparently quite durable, which seems like it would make it good for low altitude CAS.

There is a 4 versions of KAB-500 KR version can lock into target from 15-17km away and can penetrate 1.5m reinforced concrete. Literately russian version of GBU-15.

Pretty sure its like 50 grams of salt or something like that, it leaches the water out of your blood and causes clots all over your body. As well as extreme muscle cramps and the feeling of your stomach turning inside out. I remember a story about a guy that got really stoned one day and died from eating like 2 bags Salty Plums (look them up its an Australian and pacific islander thing) I love them!
