On very specific, very windy days, gliders can quickly reach high altitudes in updrafts and silently cover many kilometres without an engine. On such a day, shortly before sunset in the evening, I flew very close to the cloud and could almost touch it. A fascinating glider flight in a wave came to an end with these pictures.
