Great Vdo and more of Ubon. I really enjoy staying there, been going there since 96 and even back then they had great stuff in Ubon and Robinson. But as you mentioned it's hard to find stuff, unless you got some local knowledge and transportation.

Another great video Chuck and Paige. Beautiful Seoul. Sometimes when you are in a foreign country, you feel like you are lost. Had the same feelings when in Paris France. Thailand and Thai people, in my absolute biased opinion, are relatively "more" friendly than the rest. Are you planning a trip to the DMZ? Just 40km away? Stay safe and enjoy.

Paige's eyebrows when you stopped in front of the Harley dealer. LOL!!! I do so look forward to retiring in Thailand. It is so cool that you are able to just spend as many days as you want getting to know one little area of Thailand. On my "vacations" it is so easy to get caught up in not having enough time and rushing through the days. Literally stopping to smell the flowers is something I so look forward to. Thanks for sharing Chauffeur Chuck and Navigator Paige.

Hi Chuck & Paige, Thank you for the ‘run around’. As you pulled up at the mall and parked i noticed the Harley Davidson dealer....‼️Great I thought we are going inside for a look...but no you resisted the temptation. ⁉️. Someone once said “I can resist anything except temptation”. 555. At least you found a good burger 🍔 later. Best wishes to you and Paige, Anthony. 🙏🏻

Ubon is really a nice place. Lots of things to do within the province. I got my visa extended there about 20 mins drive outside of Ubon in a village called Chong Mek back in 2013. I will be seeing a lot of Ubon when I move there. We will be retired in Kanthararom, Sisaset Province about 30 mins drive to Ubon.

Thanks for info about Ubon. That wax show would be quite something with that awesome wholesome Isaan festival atmosphere to go along with it I'm sure. That mall was also really cool because it was less busy than the korat, Khon kaen or Udon malls and despite being smaller has more than what id need. I'd love to lounge around mid day at one of the many coffeeshops in there and hopefully the music is always so peaceful!

Glad that you visit Ubon, I was born there and lived until 5 years old when my parents worked in the main hospital. They told me that during that time Vietnam war was coming to the end though there was Vietnamese suicide bomber at Ubon airport. Unbelievable how messy along Thai border during that time. Now Ubon is one of big city in Isan, time flied. There are 2 well known temples there Wat Nong Pa Pong and Wat Pa Na Na Chat maybe you can visit.

Chuckee, I see you going to different places and with the family tripping around and showing us lots of Thailand, I would love to see you doing something that's in your soul, fishing the day away. If you spent 2-3 days hanging with a buddy and fishing your eggs off, coming home at night BBQ your catch and some cold liquid refreshment = a happy man and fun videos.

Thanks Chuck have that temple as a wallpaper on the phone and people think it is fake and nice to know where it is. The reviews are ok then video quality compared to GoPro is not quite there but the stabilization is good and it takes all the GoPro mounts so swapping over you don't have to buy all the new stuff again.

As one poster has said, Amazing how messy it was along the border at the end of the Vietnam War. SEATO build an airfield in the area as Laos had just got it’s Communist government and there where ‘Stories/Myths’ on ground troops being deployed to assist/train the Thai Army forces deployed in that area. Up in CM a squadron of British Hawker Hunters where deployed and my old friend of 99 who passed away earlier this year secured the job as the civilian contractor to the Air Force men stationed there. There was a 2 Division military operation based out of CM in the 80’s to drive out the last of the Opium Warlords. CM military airport has higher standards of security to this day then say, Pratchup Khiri Khan which was wide open ,no showing of passport or ID card and even has a hotel on site. John

Hi there Chuck. I enjoy your videos and just subscribe. I am glad you made a wonderful transition to living a life in Thailand. I always wanted to do the same but getting rid of my possessions is impossible. (It’s only stuff). So instead I travel to Thailand every year since the late 70’s. sometimes staying months at a time when I was “married to a Thai” in Sakon Nakhon. Back in 2000. Still having the same problem with Thai woman to find a genuine soul that loves me for who I am and not see me as a ATM. (Too generous is my fault). The only problem is the long flight is starting to bothersome to my health at 61. I never eat a steak in Thailand. Only when I return back to America. I hate the Aussie beef, and Thai beef. I even been to some of the best places inThailand that had their beef imported from USA. Still not the same and I give up. I think it is the way they cook the beef at a lower temperature, or do not use good butter, it’s something, so no beef in Thailand for me too. I hope to learn the language as well as you , but I am too lazy, but love Thailand. I am retire and finally consider to buy a condo there, but where.? Bangkok, Chang Mai, Pattya, Hua Hin? Still being single I have many choices that has always been my problem. It’s just as cheap to rent but where can I leave my stuff? I love my own bike, my own scooter etc. even my own pillow. You know what I mean. I might just buy a cheap condo just to leave my stuff in Pattaya. Love the Thai lessons in your videos. I wrote too much. Thanks for taking your time to make these great videos. Kup

It’s funny that you mentioned they should put a shark in the aquarium, they actually had a small one in there some time ago and it bit a small boy’s hand. My wife’s family is from Ubon and we have a home in between Ubon and Sisaket so I’ve spent some time in that mall.

I have Ubon on my list now. Chuck, if you ever feel like it, and it would be allowed, would you consider going to a Toyota dealer and just do a walk around and get prices for the different cars and trucks. I would also be interested in a Honda and/or Yamaha scooter dealership to see prices and models. I look online but the prices don't seem right compared to the prices when you went shopping for your mother-in-law's scooter. Thanks and cheers!

I have seen videos from Thailand, Philippines and Brazil and been to the Philippines to see in person and they all have one thing in common one hell of a mess of wires on the hydro poles. OMG would not want to be the one to trace any one wire LOL. Chuck for me it is a pretty girl gets my attention not a cow hahaha. Looks like a cool place though. The seating area looks awesome. Wow so many cool artifacts. The snacks look very yummy. So many malls in asia seems they are all over the place even smaller towns.

Chuck, I am always finding out new/strange things about my Thai wife. I am at an age when I pretty much avoid adding salt to any food I eat, for obvious reasons. Although I've been with my wife for over 10 years, it wasn't until recently that when I got her some blueberries, strawberries and cherries from the fridge, she ALSO requested the SALT SHAKER. Chuck do you know any Thais who liberally spread salt on such fruit? This to me is one of the strangest Thai habits, unless it's just her habit.
