The music is very soothing, nice. I remember seeing two young western women in Bangkok standing at a pedestrian crossing shouting and waving their fists at cars/motorcycles because they simply would not stop for them! They might still be there! Thanks guys

Hi Chuck and Paige, that Mexican food looked amazing and I bet tasted good too.Nice to see Paige meet an old friend that she hadnt seen for 10 years trying some Mexican food. The temple looked calm, tranquil, nice to walk around and, see the monks doing their daily tasks taking care of the temples.I like the Thai music you play Chuck whilest driving and sometimes you play when showing us around,I will have to look for Thai music on youtube and see if I can perhaps find some tracks to listen too. Thanks guys again for another good video, take care as always, catch you in the next video. Sawadee kap,kop kun kap.☺👍👍

Thank you for another great road trip and for stopping at the temple. I love it when you show Thai history and temples. The food videos along with the driving/shopping are excellent as well. You have shown me so much for my trip down south for the month of November this year. However when l retire in two years, Issan district is were l will visit first. P.S. Love the thai back ground music when you drive

Hey chuck. We live in idaho, 4 kids. We have a "tankless" hot water heater for the house. It's exactly like that, but its in the basment on the wall and supplys the whole house with hot water. WAY WAYYYY more efficient.

Construction scaffolding in SE Asia blows my mind. And I love the little Asian water heaters. You get hot water immediately, and there's no tank to replace every few years. Beautiful temple. The stuiffed jalapenos look great.

What a coincidence. I was also in room 4 all last week lol. When you take your bike ride to Ubon I have a farang friend in khueng nai. Its the halfway point from yesothon to ubon. He has Bee phamarcy . You can take a rest stop there lol. and also there is an amazing temple near ubon city. One of the most beautiful in isaan called Wat Sirindhorn Wararam. its east of the sirindorn lake. up on a hill with amazing views also. The back side glows in the dark after sunset..very cool ..... I wish I would have tried that hamburger place out

Hi Chuck, - 50 years ago (1969), I was stationed in Korat and had the opportunity to visit for several days on temporary duty to the air base in Ubon, I do have some 35mm slides that I need to dig out and review so I can figure out if any of the places I visited still are there. As always, I enjoy your near daily videos.

Hey Chuck n Paige..like ur advice on the hot water heater. I see that u guys are using a knife n fork lol. I definitely will go with my thai gf n try this Mexican restaurant . I'm adjusting to the Isan thai food okay , but i craving for any western food , only KFC in Suwannaphum. I'm also suprise to not see any "Stop signs " here. However, i see that thai's manage okay that way. I think u should do a short video on the dogs 🐕 in Thailand. There everywhere n crossing the road like they owe it , not to mention sleeping in the middle of the road anytime of the day n night. Lol I really like to thank you n Paige for all your video's . Very informative advice , great traveling , n your veiw on the Thai culture n ppl is awesome.

the second temple you went to (the drive thru temple), I was there last year. Very nice place. But don't understand how we missed the Wat next to the river. :( I guess that'll be for the next trip. And ....Carnitas...not carne asada(beef) I guess you brain is in Thai-English mode now and you forgot your Spanish ;) Keep enjoying.....

Out of all the places you've taken us to in Isaan, I think Ubon is the one I'd like to live the most. Seems quite off the beaten path and not busy. But what I love most is all the trees. The place is just exploding with lushness and greenery. Korat or Khon Kaen would probably be more fun to visit for a few days but long term I'd prefer Ubon.

Great video as usual, I love the temples and gardens. The insta heat water heaters are becoming more popular in the states, especially the gas ones, the electric ones use quite a bit of electricity so they are not as efficient as the gas. The Mexican food looked delicious, but I need my negro Modelo with it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful vacation with us. Many blessings to you, Paige and family 🙏

When you started out with the big goober on the windshield. I thought the word of the day would be 'bird turd' ! I guess you were distracted but at 25:50 I'd have stopped the truck in the middle of the road to check out the (1971?) Boattail Buick Riviera! That's a rare enough bird in the USA much less Ubon Thailand! I hope the Jalapenos didn't give you Montezuma's Revenge.

Chuck, that is not carne asada, that is “carnitas” which is a type of fried pork. Carne asada is from beef only Great videos, it is really nice traveling along with you and Page in beautiful Thailand. Please keep me posted regarding the cruise to Mexico next year. It is kind of funny but I feel you guys like part of my family. Keep up that great job!!

Pedestrian Right-of Way, by my experience, if you step off the curb in most US cities, the pedestrian has the right-of-way. If you do it in Chicago, LA, or NYC, you pretty much put your life in your hands.Beautiful Temple, but like anywhere in Thailand, they are all very ornate. At about 25:51, pretty cool '72 Boattail Buick Riviera, hard to find a decent one here in the states.

there are 36.3 million Mexican Americans living in the US, 11.2% of the population so US is also a "Mexican thing" However I agree with you. As in most places in the world the food will be adjusted by ingredient and flavor to it's consumers. Cheese was not to popular in Most Mexico. My 3 kids are 1/2 Mexican.... Certain words should be avoided, I think you just taught one, no wonder Paige smiled. Owned a Suzuki Jeep one time, pulled into filling station says Tem Tank and after paying car stalled as we pulled away. The lad had filled with Diesel not gas. As an old mech you know not killer problem, putting diesel in a petrol motor be big problem if gas into a diesel motor. Used an electric water heater in CM, we need 6,500 kw for the water gets very cold of a night, during our cool season. Never known anyone Thai or Frang drink tap water, bottle water only. I am convinced our Thai hosts have a points scoring system for wasting pedestrians. In UK if a pedestrian places one foot onto the Black White striped Pedestrian Crossing they own it, been like that since the 1930’s, when the first where established by a minister name of Belisher, Belisher Crossings they where know as. Udorn had the massive US military based and Voice of America Radio Station hence a large presence of US folk, understand it has/had a black site from the days of your King George II. Best Mexican in CM is Miguel’s, not an expert but he has never let me down, and been a while since I tried the Margarita Station in Angeles City where I went one year to escape Songkran in CM. Looked like a good spread, must remember if I am ever down there. John
