He’s a broken man. Improper rain gear. Does it not rain in Australia? They make waterproof boots, gloves, and full face helmets. Lots of lessons in this video for newbs. Don’t do what the bogan does; -Give yourself time. -Understand all the border requirements. -Proper gear -Ride only in the daytime -Learn at least a couple of words in the local language, and learn the names of the countries -Stop and eat frequently enough that you’re not hangry all day -etc etc

Hey Danny, I am a California Real Estate agent since 2002, before I earned my RE license, I was International Marketing & Sales Manager for a small USA bicycle tire company. I traveled to Germany, Tiawan, Canada, Mexico City, Las Vegas for trade shows, & Mountain Bike Race Events though out the US. I’d wake up in a different place in the morning & I didn’t even know where I was! LOL! It was definitely big fun. It’s definitely even more fun when you don’t know the language or customs. I had a blast, every day was an adventure. I’d get into so many situations, but I always managed to get things worked out, I met many nice people. Your adventures at the borders remind me of some of mine. Once I sat at a boarder on a metal folding chair with machine guns pointed at me for several hours. I finally had the guys with machine guns laughing! (I had sample prototype tubeless bicycle tires that they had never seen, they were pretty sure I was hiding drugs, or something in them?) They finally let me cross… keep on living the dream! :-)

Hey Danny I'm not confident you will read this but I think your doing an amazing job and your working your ass off! I think if you put at the start of your vlog a couple of exciting clips like when you showed all the fog, or the bus and when you said your not sure your gonna make it. Just something to engage the viewer and build anticipation especially for a 30 min vlog when usually 15 minutes is the sweet spot. Also you can title your videos "what riding through 7 countries in 10 days does to you" etc.. and in the thumbnail you can say "scariest ride of my life" or something. This will make your vlogs a lot more clickable whilst still not click baiting/ keeping it real. I hope you get my point. All the best mate, appreciate the effort on the vlogs :)

Hey Daniel, a subscriber from Panama here... I´ve been following you for a while now and really like most of your vids. My country is what they call a tropical rainforest (Emphasis in rain). It rains 9 to 10 months in a year. David is located in the Chiriqui province, not our capital city, but it's no sh!t hole... hoping you said that out of mere frustration. I ride motorcycles as well and have done trips up to Guatemala and back, I understand borders are a not the most efficient, but hey, every country has it's things. however, gps systems as good as they are, they are programmed to take you somewhere using "the fastest route" and coming into Panama, Paso Canoas is definitely not the fastest... 😂😂 Anyway, Props to you for doing all of this riding and hope to keep catching your following vids soon.

LOL @ 29:00 ish "Should come along"🤣...i motocamp in BC Canada on my 2013 Road King Classic, 1000 lbs loaded. I'm 67 yrs old & 5'4". No way would i ride those pot holed roads on a pouring foggy night, even with my 21" wind screen. Rain is like constant buckshot in the face! Only 1% of us riders would attempt this😅 ...do you even carry tools?? Never abandon/dump that bike out of frustration. Never wash it. Bent rim is awesome (if safe). Patina is soo cool! That bike's history will command big bucks at an auction for charity someday. Too bad the front fender had to be replaced. You are "da Boss" Danny!

Yes, I've had that problem myself when I went for a Visa for Thailand. Because my Passport had gotten wet, they would not accept it saying, the damage voids the document. Fortunately I was in Canada and I was able to get a new Passport (the Passport office confirmed that if a Passport is damaged in any way, it can be problematic using it).

The screaming at the rain part I felt that, that was me in a snow storm last month 🤣🤣

a tip for the iphone, if for put the map on Default, get where you are going in a wifi area press start then turn of the data it should stay on the map and follow you without data needed the only problem is if you make a wrong turn.
