Mam pahelp naman kasi confused lang ako s question na ito Countries resided / visited Since the age of 18, has the applicant lived or travelled outside of Australia in the last 10 years only? Yes or no Mam Maraming Salamat
Hi, thank you for the video. It was very informative ☺️ I saved it for my future references. I have one question, my birthplace is Bangladesh and lived in Australia for 4 years. Do I need to have Police Clearance from Bangladesh for the citizenship application? ❤
Hello, thank you for leaving a comment! Glad you found this informative, it doesnt seem necessary for your application for citizenship, as they will require you to complete and clear an Australian police check..
Meron pong application processing fee yung citizenship when you apply at yun na po, wala na pong ibang babayaran, sila ang magschedule ng test mo and interview, same day po yang test and interview
Very informative type of content Sissy, this will serve as a great guide to our fellow kababayan. Super detailed and well delivered. Congratulations again Sissy Irish!!! Cheers.
Good luck! Start reviewing the Australian History I have a link in the description box, questions that I was asked was quite general in nature, no need to prepare for that but the test you need to familiarise your self with Australian history. All the best! All the details are linked in the description box of this video.
Fantastic video!!! I passed my test this Thursday with full marks and my citizenship application got approved on the same day. Now waiting for ceremony hopefully soon 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
Hello, I’m just wondering kase ng tourist ako sa australia ng 2014 for a month tapos umuwe ako then bumalik ako dito sa australia ng 2016 tourist visa ulit pero di na ko umuwe hanggang ngayon PR na ko. Ask ko lang sana kung ano yun papakita kong first stamp on arrival ko nung 2014 o 2016? Thank you so much if ma pansin mo ito. By the way, Congratulations aussie oi oi na! Sana ako din soon🙏🏻
You may qualify for Au Citizenship if you meet the eligibility requirements, I've discussed it in this video 😊 however if you can't watch it in full, you can check the home affairs website too. Good luck!
We are permanent resident now for 2 years and been here in AU for 4 years mag 5 na but wala pami ni apply ug citizenship. Kulbaan kos interview, but ingon sila dali ra man daw. This video is very informative. Ill surely go back to this once we think of applying. Thanks Irish 😊
Sissy the interview is literally very basic heheh I can't even remember the questions hehehe do it na sissy while there's a faster processing time now. ❤️🤗
Hi Irish! I’m planning to apply for my citizenship online this month po. Pero confused po ako sa proof of evidence pra sa date of 1st entry dto sa Au since Wala po akong makitang stamp from the immigration officer sa airport sa passport ko when I first arrived here way back 2019 under student visa. Ano pong pwd kong I.upload as my supporting document.? Twice na po akong nagpabalikbalik sa Pinas pero Wala parin akong makitang stamp sa passport ko from the Bureau of immigration here in Australia.
Hello they dont need proof po for that as they can see it in your record. Just state the dates siguro when you first arrived, i looked at my passport and dun sa atin if you came from pinas they stamped our passport when we exited the country so maybe follow that date or the next date if you flew here on multiple flights.. i hope this make sense po hehehehe
Hi Irish, thank you for your sharing. May I inquiry you one question? I am applying Australian Citizenship through my immiaccount, I had answered all the questions and attached all the required documents and the system shows "REVEIVED", but I could't summit my application. What should I do ? Many thanks
Happy weekend friends! I hope you are all having a fantastic day! Please feel free to leave me a comment if there's something that I missed. Thank you for watching this video, I hope it helps you or you may want to share this around, you are awesome! 🤗🥰🤩
Hi sis, what was like your experience during the interview? What do they do with your skills and documento? I'm just nervous beacuse my English is a little bit bad Salamat po
Hi Irish, thank for your informative video. I learnt a lot. Still I have a question. On the application online, there is a question "Has this applicant entered or departed Australia since 1990? followed by Previous Application: Give details of the applicant's previous application. My scenario is that I visited Australia on tourist visa in early 2017. After I got offer from university, I went there for my study on student visa followed by TR visa 485 and finally I got PR. From this scenario, I answered YES to the 1st part of the question, but on the details of the applicant's previous application, I am not sure which application I should provide, the tourist visa or PR application?. Appreciate if you could clarify me on that.
In my application, I listed all of the previous visa applications I did. Starting from my tourist visa in 2016 since that’s how I entered in Au. Then Partner visa application. If unsure you can contact the department to clarify that. thanks for leaving me a comment.
Hi, I will meet residence requirement in June 2022 for Australian citizenship application. Can I live overseas for 6 months or longer once my application is lodged while I await for my partner’s visa to be approved ? Would it lead to cancellation of my citizenship application ?
Hi there, I'd suggest contacting Home Affairs, there's a specific requirement during your application that you may need to stay in the country whilst they are assessing your application but I could be wrong, I applied a year ago, kindly confirm this in the Home affairs website. Thanks for leaving me a comment and best of luck!
Hi sister! Congrats! Just interested in the timeline. Why didn't the DHA or the city council arrange your ceremony on 25 January, given you have passed everything in December?
It is dependant on several factors I guess, they may have reached the max number of attendants, could be due to Covid regulations too. It would hacve been nice to do the ceremony on Australia day but it is not the applicant’s choice lol.
I have a question regarding 1300t form if we are applying through immi account, do we have to fill that form as well? The other question is my national identity card is before wedding so is that ok?
Hi there I do apologise I won't be able to answer your question. Kindly see the list of the documents you can submit to do this application through the home affairs website. Best of luck.
I don't think it a national police check is a requirement to be submitted with your application. You consent in your application for the immigration to check this on your behalf. If you do it yourself it will cost you money!
Pag meron na po kayong appointment, may matatanggap po kayo na invite and andun po lahat ng kelangan dalhin, usually po proof of identification lang and yung mga papers na sinubmit nyo for citizenship application po pwede nyo rin pong dalhin. Di ko na rin tanda hehehe it's been 8 months na po when I got interviewed hehehehe
Hi, you mentioned that we need to submit police check but while filling out the application I’ve checked it says that we only need to give them consent and they will get the police check themselves. Can you please clarify please. Also while my application I got different check list for documents
Hi there, lists of documents can vary case to case. Not sure what your circumstances is. Regarding the police check I simply followed the info in the home affairs website.
Hello I brought just proof of Identification, you will know what to bring because they will put it in the invitation letter once you've been scheduled for the test.
Yay! Very informative ate irish! Thank you for sharing this video. Makatulong talaga to ng malaki sa mga taong mag aapply for their AUS citizenship! ❤ Congrats ate #roadto1k 🥰
Hi sis great information! I have applied 2 weeks ago but not through immiaccount sent them by post and and they got it in two days ( got and Email that they said we received your application) And a few days ago they sent me an Email regarding to my application progress, they told me that I can check the progress through immiAccount. My question is if I sent the application by post am I able to check it through immiaccount or not? If so HOW please Thanks
I would say yes. You can always check it and track using the application number allocated for your case. I hope this makes sense 😅. Wishing you all the best.
Hey ,quick question ,do we upload the National police check before submitting the citizenship application or the immigration ask for it later post submission.. it’s just I am not getting any option to upload the NPC or else would upload it . Pls respond . Thanks 🙏
Wow! Thank you for sharing. I have been watched the previous 2 videos regarding your journey from the first day you arrived in Australia till today you are a citizen. God bless you. I wish I will have a nice journey as well. Becoming an Australia Citizen have been always be my dream. Thank you once again and please stay safe! 🎉🎉😁😁
Hi, my interview was just basic questions about my identity. It was less than 2 minutes, not sure if you other conferees have to answer series of questions regarding the Citizenship. It's still best to prepare for these just in case you get asked
Hello Irish,congrats...I wish you success. You express your ideas so well,Could you please answer this question for me?...Would you mind sharing your first days in Australia Did you speak English fluently?
Hey, thank you! I will absolutely do a video about my early days here in Aus, I learn to speak English from my home country 🤩 I'd say my communication skills got better over time 😂
Hello there you might need to find one either a colleague at work if they've known you for at least a year (I can't remember anymore if it was 1 year or more) as long as they are Australian citizen they can fill it out for you.
Ur video is really helpful ,as I’m in the process of filling the application, quick question pls - do we need to provide overseas penal clearance certificate?
Hi Great video!! Thank you for it. Now comes the question: I've heard that during the time from when you lodged your express of interest of becoming citizen to the time when you actually have the ceremony scheduled, you're not allowed to leave the Australia for ex. if you want to go and visit your home country. Is that true?
You can leave the country but you have to notify them prior to leaving. Not sure if it affects your application processing time or if they can put it on hold while you are outside the country. Please check it in the Home Affairs website and thank you for watching the video 🙏
I'd say it is pretty normal, check out the processing time in home affairs website. Not to long now though, you might get a schedule to take the Australian citizenship test soon. Wish you all the best!
Thanks for sharing this highly informative video! :) My old passport which I used when I first entered Australia didn't have any stamp on it (on arrival). I only have the departure stamp from the Philippines. Would you know by any chance if they'll need a visa or plane ticket/itinerary instead?
a copy of the visa you've used to enter Au can be a good proof. I came here in 2016 and they still stamped my passport I scanned that page and used it in my application.
Update: attended interview and test last month…then last week na received ko na letter of invitation para umattend ng citizenship ceremony next week….Excited 😊 thank you sis!
Would you please help me with this question please? Has this applicant entered or departed Australia since July 1990? I am a NZ citizen arriving in Australia 2015, visiting families 2017, 2018 for 2 to 3 weeks. Would you please help me please with this question
@@HappyIrish Thanks sis, just wanted to explain it clearly, I moved from NZ to Australia end of 2015 and live here until now, but 2017 and 2018, I visited NZ for holidays just for 2 to 3 weeks and come back. Do I still say yes?
If you read the question if you have entered or departed Australia since July 1990- how i understood it is “yes i have been in australia in 2018 which is since 1990” does that make sense? Please Call the department if you have further questions
@@HappyIrish understood thanks again sis. Is there a reason why my application is like this, saying that I am not currently meet the general residence, Screenshot attached below. I don't why it came up like, but I have living here in Australia from 2015 until now. I need your help please thanks
If you have been residently granted a permanent residency you need to wait 12 mos of being PR to qualify for aus citizenship. I cant see the screenshot you sent me..
Hello sissy I am not sure po, I would suggest checking home affairs the one I use for identity was not expired pero yung proof of first arrival I used my old expired passport.
HUY, thank you Sissy Gly!! medyo matatagalan pa yarn oi ahahhahaa, pero keri lang enjoy enjoy lang hehe I am glad to know few lovely people here sa yt! apil ka didto heheheh thank you for all your support oi! 😍
Hi thank you for your information very helpful I just want to ask I am permanent resident and my passport still in my maiden surname do I change my passport to my married name before applying for my citizenship hopefully hear from you soon thank you 😊
Hi, I submitted as part of my documents the page in my passport that they've stamped of my first arrival here. It is part of the evidence you will need to submit
@@HappyIrish thank u dear for ur quick response i really appreciate .. i know we have to submit with the documents but did they ask about it in the interview as well ?
It is your choice if you want to do it or not. You can just stay on PR status if you prefer but that generally needs to be renewed or something but it is an easier process. Please check the Home Affairs website if you need additional but being Australian Citizen is not a compulsory thing to do.
Hi there, thanks for the information. gonna be helpful to prepare application. just wondering if I need 3 different ids with photo and signature or 2 will do ?
Congratulations!! Wow well done Sissy, I passed my citizenship test last week only, and I really feel so happy coz atleast it won't take long since I lodge my application January this year then receive an email for my test before the end of month of March and yeah finally just waiting for our citizenhip ceremony to be scheduled with.
Hi sissy I simply use an app sa phone, Microsoft lens ang tawag, I just made sure na nakaflat sya and took a photo, if not, go to any office works and public library and have it scanned
@@HappyIrish thank you for a prompt response ...... 0:25 here you suggest that its a three part series and one should watch the other two parts first.....i was asking to provide the links of first two parts in the description.....btw nice content havent found such elaborative video on Aus citizenship process yet
@@HappyIrish thanks sis. may tanong po ako if pwede naba mag apply ng AFP online ngayon kahit na sa end of June pa ako qualify for applying citizenship? Thanks
Hello sis, I have one more question please…I only have a photocopy of my birth certificate from the Philippines ( 5 years ago),Do I really need to show the original copy on the day of the interview? Your vlogg is amazing and it helps me a lot, I applied last month and I received my appointment for an interview next month…so I’m not sure if I’ve got time to obtain an original birth certificate from pinas. Thank you…much appreciated sa reply.
sis good luck sa interview mo! i am glad i was able help you hehehe, i am sure you need to present a copy of your original birth certificate, but if you cant get one i am not too sure sis, baka they can accept your photo copy version
Hi Irish and everyone , I pass the test 100% but they didn’t send me Any official confirmed that I passed the exam yet. It was nearly one month already since I pass the test. Is it normal? I feel worried 😅
hello, it is quite normal, it is very likely that they are still assessing your citizenship, i mentioned in this vid that passing the exam is part of the application process only and they still have to finalize your citizenship application, see the Home Affairs website whats their current processing times, you might hear back from them soon. good luck!
