Commissioner here! I'm really happy with how this turned out, I picked Infotron to work with Brandon on this one to lean into the techno side more than the original themes "I'm my own master now" and "This machine", give the track an identity of its own, and my god does it deliver. I'm glad to see people are enjoying both this and Next G3n as tributes to the ultimate E-Series robot. Whoever commissioned Next G3n I tip my hat to. Thank you Brandon Yates!

BW: "Greetings. Are you the machine that eliminated the cyborgs in this area?" Omega: "Affirmative. They were working with Dr Eggman, and therefore must be eliminated. Including the ones heading this way." BW: "You should have leave some functional, for interrogation." Omega: "All of Eggman's inferior machines must be eliminated. No exceptions." BW: "Then I shall force the matter." *FIGHT*

Omega: *” W H A T T H E D O G D O I N”*

Omega trudges past a torn battle-field of shredded metal and blasted corpses of cyborg and machine alike. Bashing through a secluded storage unit, he checks the directions given to him by his more stealthful partner. A wrong turn...perfect. The mueling, long-legged battle machines must've kicked his navigation programs askew. Popping it up once more, the map indicated a viable exit, a straight shot towards their development wing, accessible past the far off wall. A simple task, remove the wall blocking his path and he'd be that much closer. His misdirection had turned profitable in the end. Even if he did still despise those lanky scrap-heaps that caused it in the first place, their design was *almost* as repulsive as Eggman's... Taking a step, he readied his arm cannons to obliterate their target- _+Greetings, E-series+_ All weapon systems were aimed towards the source of the noise, a hail of blasts and bullets turning whatever was there before into a mess of rubble. Strange, his radar had no hostile signs to warn of. Likely a cloaking device of sorts. Yet to reveal itself and lose that advantage... _Amusing_ ...at least Eggman's machines knew basic strategy, whatever *that* was, it must've been nothing short of- *_RRRRRRRRRRRRRR_* Spinning around, he catches a toothy blade in his iron palms, the saw mechanism grinding a pour of sparks to life as it tried to cut through the material. He pulled it back, a long wire seemingly attached to the weapon. Unlocking his torso joints, his upper body rotates 360 degrees as he chucks the attacker against the railings of the compound's balcony. His opponent rights itself mid-air and bounds away using elavated deck as footing. A series of blasts follow wherever it goes, jumping from place to place in an attempt to disorientate as smoke covers more and more of the hanger. A whip of wind calls his attention amongst the chaos as his enemy leaps at him from behind, an action to which he retaliates by once more girating his body and slamming his fist against it. His target is sent into a wall, a gust of rubble keeping it from sight. The cloud split with thermo-knives, projectiles shot down by skillful shots from his own cannons. He prepares for more, yet he is met with silence...was it- _+You are all they said you would be+_ It emerged from the dust, a mechanical canine of red-gray steel, a single cyclops eye of crimson stared on as it jogged calmly, while its prehinsile tail attached to the same chain-blade set it down in an easy manner upon its back. It had ceased its attack, and it seemed smart enough to, of course, communicate. Of course...he couldn't have a good, simple day of objective erradication. But he'd get a talk down if he were to eliminate a potential ally, or at the LEAST a messenger with something to give. So he withheld inmediate assault, yet his weapons were kept raised. I fully believe Omega is commissioning tracks for himself so he has an excuse to blow stuff up.

I never thought a mix between Sonic and Metal Gear Rising would work so well.

I am amaze how much does Omega has shown up here in commisions. But wow, I was expecting a súper hardcore track. But the smooth techno relaxing track is also fitting and great for both of these robots.

Metal Gear AND Sonic?! Awesome!

This is actually amazing. Really gives off the techno vibes and everything. Love it also feels like it could be a stage theme on top of a VS theme.

This fits way to good for both, the song is surprisingly relaxing and intense, I was expecting something related to "I am my own master now" or "The Hot Wind Blowing". This song is overall an incredible one and it's very well done. Keep it up Brandon.

Fun fact about this, last year when someone was doing a tier list for Blade Wolf and I came up with Omega but the connections of mine was crap. But luckily Wolfram came up with the better connections and that's how this matchup came to be. So whoever commission this, thank you for doing this

Honestly, an interesting Match Up. Wolf and Omega both are comperable in terms of speed, strenght and fire power. Wolf clearly has a speed advantage, but I'd say Omega is way stronger and has a more versitile arsenal. Insteresting match up wouldn't mind seeing explored. Stellar track as always Brandon. I see you went for a music style similar to Forces, and gotta say you nailed it dude! Plus it's always nice to see Omgea get some love. he's an underrated sonic character imo.

This matchup is in my top ten most wanted of all time, and I gotta say you really delivered,absolutely love the techno vibes,I'll be listening to it for a long time. I also love the track name, it adds to their independence which is one of the main parts of the matchup's theme, while also working in Bladewolf's boss track and This Machine from Heroes. EDIT: I really like how it ends, from 3:32 to 3:49 (the end), the tone immediately shifts into a much more quieter and high pitched melody, makes me think the loser is slowly dying after receiving too much damage, remembering their friends (namely Shadow/Rouge and Raiden/Sam) and how they managed to shape them as more than a machine, as an individual with feelings, the loser then shuts down for good while the winner makes sure to destroy their body. This track is just awesome, man.

Atomic Automata (Robot Twins vs 2B and 9S) [Atomic Heart vs Nier: Automata]

Finally! I've always wanted to see bladewolf in a match up and with Omega no less!

Well damn, a second Omega track relatively soon after the first one *and* two Infotron collabs almost back to back ? That's surprising for sure. Also gosh that track art's great, hand just straight up grabbing the chainsaw looks epic. Honestly this track's a bit rough to review because what I want to say about it is only pretty generic and/or what I already said in the last Infotron collab about the new mix of electronic/more classic instruments. Don't get me wrong it's a really nice track that has a lot going for it, I just don't have much to say on it. For one, I quite like the way this track decided to go unlike the other two MGR:R tracks because here it doesn't lean nearly as heavily into the MGR:R side of things and instead focuses much more on the Sonic side. The whole track feels like Omega has the upper hand or at least takes the spotlight with the much more "futuristic" feel this track has. Which fits as Bladewolf is not really an imposing character, mostly reacting to what others do or say instead of acting on its own. Altho, and I'm not sure if I'm correct with this so correct me if I'm wrong, I do believe that the main melody of the song does use something similar to I'm My Own Master Now's main melody too which once again fits as, while Omega would be the more imposing character, Bladewolf is still an ever present character that uses its speed and agility to put on a constant pressure on the enemy, something well reflected if I'm hearing the melody correctly. And of course it works doubly so as it allows to get a track that doesn't feel redundant with The Way of the Blade or Blood Stained Strides *and* shows how, unlike Sam and Raiden, Blade Wolf behaves much differently than the two aforementioned characters, justifying the much different track type. It's also interesting to note how this change of track type comes in the form of a much less intense track. While I did say that I felt like it fit the Sonic side of the MU for Omega more, I must also mention that I think it fits Bladewolf nicely too as, once again, Bladewolf isn't imposing nor an agressive character. Of course he's brutal in his way of fighting but I think anyone could expect that from a giant metal wolf with a chainsaw for a tail. I mean it more personality-wise a Bladewolf is a very "flat" character in terms of mood, being a machine means he's always calm and composed which is finally reflected in the fluidity of the track and the lack of high intensity for most of it. Of course this goes for Omega too but I already covered which part I think makes this song fit Omega too. Also I once again must reiterate how nice I find the new blend of Infotron's electronic music with Brandon's more "classical" use of instruments which is really nice. Altho of course this song does put the spotlight on the electronic music much heavily than Paradox: Perfected, which fits the matchup but it's still clearly audible that there's a lot coming from Brandon in that song too so it's definitely still a nice mesh of both artists' qualities. Overall like I said this isn't a track I had that much interesting to say on but it definitely doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it. It's true that it's not a track that I find groundbreaking but it's impossible for someone to perfectly like everything now, isn't it ? Either way I still cannot deny the objective quality of the song even if it's not fully to my tastes as it does some nice personification of the characters there and takes an original approach on a MGR:R matchup which is appreciated. Great work with this to both composers.

Omega needs to call blade a worthless consumer model either in the middle or ending of the fight as a reference to sonic heroes.

To the surprised of many, this fight is actually fair. Given Omega doesn't really scale high up in speed in the Sonic verse, Blade Wolf is able to keep up with him, and Wolf can even one shot him due to how HF weapons work (AKA Wolf can dura neg Omega), but the same can be said the other way around as Omega is so much stronger than Wolf and can merely take the robodog out in a single attack. So, it is actually a really close fight. (Though, due to MG bullshittery, Wolf has canonical save files and could easily just return to the beginning of the fight if he were to die, so really, this be a Wolf W in the end.)

Both due have the same level of weapons, but there’s three things that Omega has, while Blade Wolf doesn’t, strength, speed and power. BW strength can match Raiden who lifted Metal Gears like sticks, but Omega is able to match Sonic characters that can lift mountains and space stations that are bigger than cities. Sure BW can also match speed with Raiden as well, but Omega has kept up with Sonic characters who can move even faster than Raiden said to be incalculable. Finally for power, Omega isn’t just powered by science, but surprisingly he also has some Chaos Magic in him from the Chaos Emeralds long way back, and Chaos energy is wild!

You know, as much as I love this idea for a Death Battle, I think that Omega should go up against somebody else more similar to his origin as the latest and greatest model of a series of robots. Like, Jenny, the 9th model of the XJ series robots, and currently the latest and greatest model. (Aside from XJ-10, but 10 didn't get past the blueprint phase.)

Cool matchup, but I'm pretty sure this is a stomp in Omega's favor sadly. Omega is the one who canonically kills Shadow in Sonic 06 (yes, 06 was erased from the canon, but Omega was unchanged so he should still be capable doing so). Blade Wolf has never fought anyone near Shadow's level, and was one-shot by Armstrong so he's not even Raiden's level. Tl;dr Omega will be the end of Wolf
