It's time for a Minecraft New Earth build again! We're building a city in the sky this time around. Everyone who took part in this session did so through my Twitch channel. Over the next year I'm hoping we can finish building our New Earth in Minecraft through these 300 player sessions :)

To join my Minecraft server, head to my Twitch channel and type !server for the login information. You must be subscribed on Twitch to join, and have a Discord account. This is so we can moderate and manage the server due to demand. The server is open 24/7 and has a survival world, as well as a museum of every past build we've done on the channel.

2:04 I'm not sure if this is why the stray balloon was there, but there's this old tale that my mom told me. If you hold a balloon and think of something you want to tell someone who's passed on, then let go of the balloon, the balloon will make it's way to Heaven and to the person you thought of. It was a way to communicate your best wishes to those you've lost. Me and my brotber always bought balloons whenever we went shopping just so we could talk to our dad, who passed away from cancer when we were young.

I'm always amazed how wholesome these builds are. The representation of pride, military, anime, games and just generally amazing architecture is always a sight to behold. Even as someone who never really played Minecraft, this series is so enjoyable to watch!

9:30 There's something like that in America, where NORAD during Christmas Eve will have a "Santa tracker" they post online, with a radar blip that's tagged as Santa that flies around the world, with ETAs for various regions. Kids can call in to this military installation with messages for Santa that the commanding officer relays to Santa. It was started when, I think in the 60s, a kid called the installation's number by mistake thinking it was the North Pole, and wanted to talk to Santa, and the officer who received the call, rather than dash the kid's dreams, told him the installation was monitoring Santa's progress and he would relay the message. Just a nice story about a military man honoring a kid's innocence.

Oh yeah I used to look at the Santa tracker too it's pretty believable (probably because it's a military installation and the military would know what tracking actually looks like) Anyway while I'm feeling nostalgic for my younger christmases, fun fact: My baba and papa (grandparents) will do one set of gifts written by "sanpa" in shaky text, with the reason being "it was written while he was on his sleigh"

You should have a stream where you set zoning for a city and players have to build either small shops or homes or sky scrapers or whatever else that fits with the zoning for the city. You could also probably just ask for them to do designs for building like “build a good pokecenter” or theme for a part of town. It could be cool

The second I saw the flying ship, immediately all I thought of was the Mario Sports Mix tournament specific flying ship arenas where you fight characters from games like Dragon Quest and stuff. All I wished from the ship was a dodgeball court slipped in there.
