~~~~~~Server Information~~~~~
To join my Minecraft server, head to my Twitch channel and type !server for the login information. You must be subscribed on Twitch to join, and have a Discord account. This is so we can moderate and manage the server due to demand. The server is open 24/7 and has a survival world, as well as a museum of every past build we've done on the channel.
New Earth Build Rules:
-No obnoxious floating text. No obnoxiously tall buildings.
-Respect the coastline and borders. Islands, continents and countries should retain their shape.
-Build the best you can. Low effort and unfinished constructions will be removed.
-Your building cannot just be a flag.
-No contemporary politics.
-No depictions of war, recent mass tragedy, racism or discrimination or hate symbols of any kind.
-Railways must be at ground level. Railways in the air are considered low effort and too tall. We recommend an underground metro instead.
-No pixel art. We find that this obscures other builds, and we plan to provide a space later.
~~~~~~~~Extra Things~~~~~~~~
Everything you see in my videos is edited livestream highlights taken from my Twitch channel. My schedule is Tuesday & Thursday @ 7pm, Saturday & Sunday @ 3pm - all times based in Ireland.

I love that an irish man with very little knowledge of australia can understand how disrespectful climbing Uluru is and yet most australians still cant and will ACTIVLY petition for their 'right' to. including our politicians.
@theacecase7939
@theacecase7939 Год назад
As a fellow Australian I’ve never understood the fact that people think they are *entitled* to climbing Uluru. Our government is honestly pathetic and disgusting when it comes to anything related to the many Indigenous communities in Australia. I mean, the fact that it took *decades* to even give a half assed apology for what European settlers did (the white Australia party and the stolen generation to name a few) only to be like ‘welp **slaps knees** that’s done’ and not give more, much needed, support to the indigenous people of our land is horrendous and sickening. I feel like a lot of Australians, especially more stereotypical Aussies and Aussie politicians, think that just because they didn’t personally do anything means that they don’t have to apologise for or even just acknowledge what their *ancestors* did. Australia’s history pretty much entirely consists of European settlers and white people taking advantage of, imprisoning, using and disrespecting indigenous peoples. The fact that this sort of disrespect still continues in the form of entitlement towards climbing, defacing and damaging Uluru, and the surrounding nature, honestly makes me ashamed to be called an Australian.

RT: "What is Vegemite?" Me, who had an Aussie friend send me some once: It's salt toothpaste That's all it is, it's salt flavored toothpaste. And not mild salt either. This is salt that has been refined down to the molecular level then packed into more salt and repeated fractally until just prior to nuclear fission. If you go a step further, that's how you get salt bed reactors If you want something actually good from Australia: TimTams. They're cookies that you bite the ends off of and then use as a straw. It's like when you dunk Oreo's in milk but it doesn't fall apart because the milk gets contained inside. Without doing that they taste like a Twix bar. They're the greatest thing, heavily recommend.

Fun facts about Gympie-Gympie: The pain it causes is so severe that that *alone* has been known to kill people in minutes ("Cause of Death: Pain" is no joke). Additionally, the pain persists at full strength for anywhere between several hours and two whole days, recurring (with lessening strength) for several months or even years whenever the afflicted area is touched, exposed to water, or subjected to temperature change. The hairs are also released into the air whenever the plant is cut or cleared in large areas, with workers requiring respiratory protection to do so. But this is not the only example of Australia's charming flora! Another example is Smilax australis (also known as Austral Sarsaparilla, Barbwire Vine, Lawyer Vine (my personal favourite), and Wait-a-while), whose dangling 8m stems are covered in hundreds or thousands of tiny hooks, which can potentially keep bush walkers trapped for hours if they so much as brush past them - and that's assuming that they can reach the hooks without brushing against *more* of them. Did I mention that they often grow in clusters? Australia: If it moves, it will kill you. And if it doesn't, then might just give it a shot anyway. Oh, and just for fun, some idiot introduced Kudzu. The Americans call it "Mile-a-minute" and "The vine that ate the South". I'll just point out that it thrives in climates with hot summers and mild winters, sees droughts as an opportunity, and that this is Australia. It's the plant world's answer to the Cane Toad.

They forgot about the iconic 1973 rock band AC/DC an Australian rock band from Sydney. Formed in November 1973, the group originally consisted of vocalist Dave Evans, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young (his older brother), bassist Larry Van Kriedt and drummer Colin Burgess.

It was really nice to see the Dreamtime Museum, there are some truly beautiful stories and it’s amazing to see it get representation. Hopefully this will inspire more people to look into Indigenous Australian History.

yes! as a kid i always loved the dreamtime story animations they showed on ABC, i used to borrow cassette tapes of the show from the library so i could watch them again. it made me very happy to see such a large collection of indigenous stories available for people to read :)

0:42 Don't lie, we just gently move the deadly spiders outside and go on with our day. Posionous spider you can't get under a cup? Are they chill? Eh, just let them crawl on your hand and drop them back outside. Snakes on the otherhand, they just want some personal space and that's fair

fun fact: the fastest a normal human male is 8 mph, however, a motivated Australian, due to the environment, is able to sprint just fast enough to narrowly escape dangerous situations (with enough energy of course)

Another fun Aussie fact: The emu and kangaroo are the two animals on out coat of arms because they are both incapable of walking backwards, thus "always moving forward", which ties in with our national anthem Advance Australia Fair.

Some more aussie facts a year after this vid came out because I'm from the NT and people forget it exists: On Chrismas Eve of 1974 the (then) small city of Darwin and it's surrounding areas were hit by a tropical cyclone called cyclone Tracy. 71 people died. People woke up in the morning to find their roofs (including the Chief Minister at the time who alledgedly slept through the event) taken off their houses, general destruction and no pressies under their trees. This cyclone and the bombing of Darwin is why not many historical houses and buildings remain. There's a Christmas song based on the event named "Santa never made it to Darwin." Both of my parents lived through it, although they were too young to remember it.
