I try eating a meal every hour for 7 days straight in order to amplify protein synthesis. Will I put on muscle or just get fat? This video is my 7 day journey eating 12 meals a day for an entire week!
A blood test (sugar, insulin, etc.) before and after this challenge would have been very interesting. Perhaps, you could integrate that in your next (diet) video.
you’d probably need a glucose curve (or an all day glucose test) to tell you anything because those blood sugars and insulin level fluctuate based on time of day, sleep, and a multitude of other factors.
In my experience, eating extreme numbers of meals per day has had the most dramatic effect on my physique by far- more so than any type of exercise. At one point I jumped up from about 2500 to about 5000 calories a day divided up into 6 to 8 meals a day, no change whatsoever to my physical activity level, and after 3 months people started asking what kind of PED’s I was taking. When I told them it was just more food, they couldn’t believe it.
Unfortunately, he's practically only putting in the work for RU-vid. I know some RU-vid's who are full-time STEM students, have a strict exercise regimen, and STILL find time to even do recording and video editing. Being a physics student myself, I find that absolutely disgusting. Hats off to all.
@@___xyz___ I don't think any of those youtubers are doing 1000 ab reps or dedicating an entire schedule to a video. You missed the point smarty pants.
Would be interesting to see you compare this challenge with watching exactly the same food in the same amount, but in one meal a day. So like 2800 cals in one meal per day rather than split up
Dude I'm falling in love with your content lol. It's the perfect formula for the modern day. Relatable content. Love the amateur style which I'm sure lets you crank out more videos. Also would like some updates on the eye training. Your videos are keeping me sane while I code. Thanks again. PS - nice shuffling
Dang, amazing results. Couples well with the ab challenge you did recently, haha. Also it's interesting how easy it is to grow the biceps and shoulders compared to other parts of the body.
Many, many, many years ago I was way under weight and by "way" I mean about 30 to 40 lbs under. I decided to do something about it so I worked on eating enough etc and not being a very big guy it was a struggle. Ended up putting on 30lbs or so but don't remember how long it took. I give this background info on myself because watching you eat 12 times a day brought back those memories and it was kind of hard to watch. Glad the end result was positive.
Do a week of water fasting... keep up your potassium, salt, and electrolytes. I do a 23 hour fast. The longest fast I have done was 3 days. To me it was weird... that I wasn't eating, but I felt so great! Would love to see you do this!
For a new 24/7 challenge, try one of your subscribers workout routine. And see if its beneficial for you and others your just for that subscriber. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work.
If your interested put the curry paste in before the coconut milk or cream and cook it out a bit you'll smell it get very aromatic that is when it's time to add the coconut cream just a bit more flavourful
Tbh idk how much impact it actually has coz the main thing is to be in caloric surplus to build muscle. You wouldn't be in the toilet constantly if you just eat a little each meal for 12 meals. It's not when our how frequent you eat. It's how much goes into your body in total
If you just increase protein intake and mainly focus on that, he would just need to work the arms more and the protein synthesis will do it’s chores. But, HIGH protein synthesis should be the next experiment.
And the gnocchi stuff is pronounced neo-key and it’s potato turned into a dough like substance to form a noodle like texture Also double your regular calorie intake for 7 days which is about 2800-3000 from observation and see what that does it’s amazing
Instead of doing 12 of the same meal each day, you should do 4 breakfast meals, 4 lunch meals and 4 dinner meals, that way you have variety of foodsthrough each day
It would be so nice to have all my meals planned out throughout the day. I have trouble remembering to eat sometimes and then finding something to eat is even more difficult
i dont understand how he can eat cold rice like is nothing then doesnt like cold beef, cold beef is fine but cold rice becomes crunchy at least in my experience
I found the trick for this, don't use the dishwasher and you will get fit by always cooking or washing dishes. Bonus for carrying around your cooler all day since you need it constantly.
I hate to tell everybody but on the first day of measurement, I can see the measured his bicep a little closer to his elbow the on his actual peak of the bicep so when he measured on the 8th day he measured just a little bit higher so it looked like he gained .5 of an inch in 1 week. I do admit his waist and upper chest area looks a lot tighter. But I do think pigmie measured his bicep in different places.
