Mr. Cooks, when you took the bite of fish, bread, and the pickle and you started making sounds🤣 you reminded me of my dad. He would make those same sounds and his feet would be moving underneath the table 😂😂. That's how we knew that he was enjoying his food!!!
Are you for real? You have to be the worst food critic that I have ever seen. You did not do your research on the restaurants. You hardly got the food in your mouth before you rejected it. Go home.
Pop KHall and the family owns it. They have a family farm and family business. Little Rock royalty and extremely humble and hard working. Generational. 😊
This was a lot of fun to watch, lol. They need to offer those small handheld store baskets for customers 😄 I wish I could go to a place like that in my town! A kid in a candy store is the description for this experience. I'm definitely going there if I'm in Little rock.
My mother was a retire educator and administrator at Little Rock Central High School, and K.Hall was her daily lunch stop. On Friday, game day, she brought it home for my siblings and I. They serve amazing food with southern hospitality. ❤
I agree a turkey Neck is a poor man’s oxtails, but it is crazy back in the they about 15 years ago when my kids were small oxtail was the cheapest thing you can buy in the grocery store they just started with those outrageous prices. I stop eating them when they prices were just as high as steak but ox tail used to be really cheap.
The prices went up because we as a people had to pump it up on social media just like a $6.00 bucket of chitterlings @ $39.99 refuse to buy at those outrageous prices. Proves this is something we like but can and will live without, that inventory buildup, will cause prices to drop.
What a FUN video! I haven’t laughed this hard in a minute!! I thoroughly enjoyed this and all your interactions with everyone! The confusion… the chaos… the food… 🗣️I WANT IT AAALL!!
Thank you, Darius, for introducing an official Food Vlog, this is brilliant and great, keep it coming! I will definitely support this!!! love it coming from a real Foodie WHO CAN COOK!
It's the 8:23 thru 8:29 mark that had me super DEAD! Darius look like he wanted to say something to ol dude but ya boy wasn't receptive at all😂. I replayed that like 10 times and laughed each time.😂😂😂
@@AnnaH4R just went today and it wasnt that bad. u just go over to that counter and order your food. if you order a lot u might have to wait a while. then they will give you the food with a ticket and you take the ticket over to the other counter to pay.
My color may be off on my screen, but make sure your melon is yellow really yellow on the bottom for it to be sweet. And check the stem make sure it look fresh cut and not dry. It don't hurt if it have brown veins on it( " ugly") it's suppose to be from pollination I was told. Oh and dark in co lor. 👍🏿
😊 lol. I've never been there but I'm from central AR and graduated from ABC. It just look to confusing and unorganized. I would love to try but wouldn't have a clue where to start 😂😂😂😂
I’m live here born and raised on this side of town(south end) and I still hate going in there to order. It’s literally a maze of confusion even for us lol but it’s always worth it. They make homemade ice cream that’s delicious.
I'm from Little Rock that is a staple it's a place where they sell u know rabbits possum turtle deer then they cook hot food the best pork chop sandmich in town been there forever don't forget to get u a Ole jungle juice and some gizzard oooo Gawd K Hall and Sons also are farmers
K Hall is the business! Hate I missed him there! Used to go get lunch a few times a week when I worked close by but still go there and weekend crab boil. Had the best soft serve ice cream.❤
K Hall is an OG location, when I worked at VZW in Little Rock on the river, it was my favorite place. The fried pork chops and wedges are my go to here. But there cheeseburgers are soooooo good. Also, I'm white, and this is a staple in my childhood and current life.
I've never seen nor heard of a pink pineapple before and now I'm on the lookout for one. They need a better way to order items because watching you go back and forth lawd I was confused lol. Glad the food turned out good.
Nothing like a good seeded watermelon and from Arkansas I can’t wait until the watermelon truck come her with them from down there they where so good last year
It's funny that he calls turkey neck the poor man's oxtail. Oxtail began as the poor man's everything. The prices went up when sellers realized how much folks liked them.
Bet!!! Cali girl living in Russellville AR...with no black restaurants or people....I will be trying this place after a nice spliff this coming weekend
I'd never heard of Darius Cooks before today...as many times I've stopped in the LR area to eat nobody ever told me about this spot I use to eat at BROWN'S ( exit 118 I-30 westbound )
I’m 15min into the video and he hasn’t finished ordering yet, I would hv legit left 10min ago! They hv got to do better with the way they handle ordering that was ridiculous!
