I am not vegan but some of me friends are & I’m so happy they introduced me to this place. I have many friends in Japan that would love to have access to a market like this. I am glad there is an option like this available in Taiwan 🇹🇼👍🏻 ⚠️ FB group linked in description box ⚠️
Also if you don’t bring your own containers, I believe I saw an area where you can rent containers and return them when you’re done. (At least I think 🤔)
As a vegetarian for 32 years, I just want to say thank you for promoting no meat market. I haven’t seen any non-vegetarian RU-vidr filming about this topic so far. Thank you again for letting more people know.
Honestly, I am not a vegetarian, but all the foods in the Vegan No Waste Night Market (素食無浪費夜市) are delicious and nutritious. 🌱 Vegan Macaron, this is a creative idea for dessert foodies, who are vegetarians.
I love the idea behind this because you can enjoy “Taiwanese” food that is typically made with meat yet, made vegan. Everyone can enjoy!! And I preferred this imitation rice sausage to the real thing!
Thank you Jenn! I love how Taiwan is so big on Vegetarian/Vegan food. It's really great for my Dad because he's really religious/his beliefs. They're really creative with their food, and i love how polite and eco friendly the people are. awww i really want to go taiwan so bad, thank you for this video~ it's very lovely.
The food at the market looked tasty! Thanks for the video. Taiwan is so much more environmentally conscious than when I first lived there (1997-2000). There used to be a lack of public garbage cans, so there used to be a lot of trash on the ground. So different now. Great job Taiwan!!!
Omg I am so excited for this video 😍 That food is so amazing! Would love to see you learn how to make it so we can too ☺️ Also those 10 women who changed the recycling system of Taiwan - absolutely incredible!!! So interesting thanks so much for the video Jen 👍😄
Very interesting video! One of my favourite things about Taiwan when I visited as how delicious the vegetarian food is. I would love to check this out whenever I can go back to Taiwan
I think it’s maybe easier than when I was in Japan for sure (based off what I hear form my friends) Quite a lot of people here don’t eat meat due to religious reasons!
yes it is! I’m a vegetarian buddhist and Taiwan (since there’s such a large buddhist population) has so many vegan and vegetarian options and they actually taste good too, they don’t taste bad at all.
Thank you for this great video! I’ve been planning my trip to Taiwan for almost a year now, and saving so many of your Instagram posts and noting places from your videos that I want to visit, but as a vegan not many food related content for me aha…. I’m so happy you found this night market and decided to go and share the experience with us… totally gonna follow the Facebook group to know their schedule when I’ll be able to come to Taiwan
The food looks great. I have many friends here in Atlanta who are either vegan or vegetarian and they all want to go home with me(ps I was originally from Taiwan) cos I share with them about Taiwan is a vegetarian heaven. Hopefully after pandemic, we will go to Taiwan together and enjoy the food.
Ahhh! This is so exciting to see some vegan options in Taiwan. So grateful for you sharing this video. So amazing to hear about the ladies from Homemakers United that lead the way to being more environmentally friendly.
Thanks for sharing this~! I’m a vegan now for almost a year and glad to see this event can share with more and more people within your video. The No meat market also the opportunity for me to start a vegan diet. Love the introduction that you and your friend did~😍😍
Delicious vegan food is going to be nothing but helpful going forward as meat consumption goes back to it's pre-industrial age per capita rates. Economics makes the move eventual. The tipping point will be when people prefer the taste, price and convenience.
look pretty tasty! i am a vegetarian in malaysia , thanks for your introduce for vegan。🥰🥰all looks delicious and many choice wow~ ⊙o⊙ very likes dumplings(but unlike taiwan style no spicy cili)because malaysian love spicy flavor 。most like cake , macaron! support recycle! but this market is hard for us that go for travel....... is that seitan same like gluten?
