So, I did a little bit of research and it turns out “Cooking Mama: Cookstar” is the game for the Switch! So yes, there is a Cooking Mama on the Switch.

There is a channel call CHEFPK that has not only reacted to all the episodes of Food Wars but has recreated a large amount of the dishes as well, As well food from other anime. He is really fun to watch.

Speed running is finishing the game as quick as possible in one sitting. There is always at least 2 categories. Any% and 100%. Any% is just finishing the game. 100% is doing everything your supposed like some games have collectables in each level. So Any% is just getting to the end and 100% is getting all collectables then getting to the end. What jaiden did is basically 100% in the any% category. To submit a run you have to link a video of you playing and also put what time you got and what category you are running

I’ve been watching ChefPK for his Food War reactions and cooking! I highly suggest watching him cuz he goes into detail with his ideas and thoughts when reacting and his recipes for the food always turn out amazing. And he’s pretty funny from time to time too

Try the “feast of fiction” channel! They make a lot of dishes from a bunch of different shows including food wars! Currently the “Gotcha pork roast” and “rainbow terrine” are the only food wars dishes on the channel tho.

People already mentioned feast of fiction, but I'd also like to recommend ChefPK for recreations of food wars recipes. He also reacted to the entire series blindly and broke down what they talked about in terms of cooking techniques and stuff

Their is a channel that makes food from movies shows and games idk if they made any recipes from food wars but it’s still a very fun channel to watch also they tell you the recipes but anyway the channel is called feast of fiction

So... apparently now several folks have done speed runs of Cooking Mama 2

A speedrun is beating a whole game, or reaching a certain achievement in one sitting as fast as you can. Often in a game there is a glitch found that can save time, so in certain categories there is a version where you use the glitch, cant use the glitch, or get a special achievement, like in mario odessy where you get the underwear clothing. Often to get the perfect run people spend hundreds or maybe even thousands of hours testing things, trying to get perfect, or even finding new glitches. For alot of speedruns (if you are trying to get a record) if you make ONE mistake, you minus well start the entire run over and often after people finish their speedrun, they need to take a multiple week break because how tiring it is.

Also @AyChristine with SPEEDRUNS depending on what u go through and for run with no save points and no resets you will HAVE to reset even mess up on one point/recipe of this for a WR attempt or some cases, personal best/ I love speed running for this but add replay ability for this too.

There was a Cooking Mama game on the Switch once. But, there was a Legal dispute between the Developers and the Owners of the Cooking Mama IP. So, the game was taken down from the eShop. You could track down a Physical card of it though. Search for: “Cooking Mama: Cookstar”.

I've seen speed runs last for 7 to 12 hours,but that's for 100% runs I think,cause crash bandicoot trilogy I know a speed runner that beat one of the games in 7 or 12 hours,I don't remember,but geez
