The kids in the chorus sound like adults trying to sound like kids.

Fun fact: the reason why there were adults in the original albums was because they were a group called "Kids." That's why it was called Kids Bob. They also had 4 kids in the studio because one of the members was babysitting at the time and somewhere along the line the crediting for the artists was lost in translation. Originally it was supposed to be "by Kids + 4 kids" but then the slogan ended up being what we know today. The group Kids quit later on because there were too many kids running around the studio and now they're an empire.

Fun Fact: One of Zendaya's first roles was being a dancer in the Kids Bop video Hot n Cold

So when this guy attempts to roast some kids it’s “wholesome” and “funny” but when I do it it’s “inhumane” and “attempted murder”

I was pretty little when KB hit the market. My parents immediately gave it major side-eye and never let me engage with it, for a while that included not watching the commercials. They saw it as a “child star mill” which to them was the equivalent of a child trafficking club. Which I mean…they weren’t totally wrong about that. They were really vigilant about stuff like child pageants and modeling too. Idk how much of a rabbit hole KB actually could be, maybe not at all. But I do share the perspective that any industry that relies on children’s looks/talent for profit does need to be under heavy scrutiny, or just not exist.

My favorite kids bop censor is in "Old Time Road". They change the line " Riding on a tractor, lean all in my bladder" to "Riding on a tractor, riding on a bladder".

Some parent to Drew probably: “The things you do for your kids huh?” Drew: “Oh, no I don’t have any kids 😄”

The concept of this video seems like the main idea of a weird Disney movie.

this is my favorite video on youtube. no joke. drew isn't even my favorite youtuber (no offense) but this video is absolutely amazing. i watch this every few months and all the jokes are just as funny. my friends don't watch youtube, but i watched this with them and they loved it. this video, even though it is probably the stupidest thing ever, has made me laugh more than ever. thank u drew

the craziest part of this video is knowing that i auditioned for kidzbop in 2017, got multiple callbacks, got to (i think) the 3rd to last callback. My family had decided to go on vacation months before and the signal was bad in our hotel so she forgot to send an email back.

I actually met the casting director for kids bop myself he was at a summer camp when I was like 10 years old or something. It is true that he has no sense of humor. When he was introducing himself to me he asked if I liked kidz bop without telling me he was the casting director. I told him that I honestly hated them and the kids were a little obnoxious. That is probably why he would not talk to me for the rest of the summer camp

Bruh, I remember ordering the first album as a kid (or rather, having my mom call in to place an order, lol). Had to wait weeks for it to come in the mail, but I was so excited when it finally came. I ended up getting the next three albums too…but I only listened to the songs that were shown in the commercials because those were the only ones I knew…and I only knew them because they were in the commercials. Man, kid-logic is wack, lol.

the best acting performance I've ever seen is by James Nesbitt in the miniseries Jekyll from 2007. He plays Jekyll and Hyde so incredibly and distinctly two different characters where they don't really put much makeup on him so that he's different looking, he just acts so completely different that it's hard to believe it's the same actor...
