That one year I made a lot of money because of needy pixel children! #animation #letmeexplainstudios #rebeccaparham #cartoon #tamagotchi #school #babysitting #babysitter #90s #toys
Who cares about being popular? Having control over the local economy is more important than being liked by the "cool kids" (damn i sound old when i write it like that).
I'm actually friends with "the cool kids". Not because I'm cool, in fact I'm a huge loser who does nothing but nerd stuff, but because I am best friends with one of the "cool kids" before they became a "cool kid" (also you don't sound that old saying that)
i was a business management major too! graduated may 5th of this year (2023) and i can 100% see one of my teachers saying that ....and one teacher going "that girl shouldn't of bothered, she's going nowhere" or something
I just remember seeing some kids with DOZENS attached to their backpacks and I was so insanely jealous. When I finally managed to get my mom to buy me one, it got dropped in water.
.... I wish I knew this when I had one... THOSE THINGS WERE A DAMN NIGHTMARE! I remember just trying to get some sleep and that thing going off because of some stupid reason!
I remember taking one really long field trip back in elementary school. For some reason, my mom bought two huge boxes of snacks and drinks, which I brought with me. Since it was a 10 hour+ round trip, I would sell the snacks and drinks to the kids from the back the bus like some bazaar merchant, giving discounts to the kids who were nice to me and upcharging the bullies. That little venture funded my summer that year, and I'll never forget it.
@@Zanophane_Gamingthere was literally a kid that had two giant bags of candy in his backpack and would sell them for like two or three dollars even tho it was technically illegal it stayed for Atleast a month until the teacher found out.
some one I knew once started a candy smuggling ring in elementry school and made $200! It stoped when his partner got caught and he got away. So the service actually made $400 total, but it was split and then got taken away from the other kid
This just reminded me of when tamagotchi resurfaced in popularity at my school and my classmates each brought thiers but I had none so I just watched my friends take care of them. And that reminds me I need to get a mothra tamagotchi. Thanks for the reminder! Edit: If anyone is curious, the teachers shut down us taking tamagotchi to school so now either they get smuggled in or we make our parents take care of them.
Love how teachers are supposed to teach responsibility and the most responsibility teaching creation ever is not allowed. I learned how to be responsible for things by having the alternate version of Tamagotvhi back in the day. The Digimon V-pet. It was basically a Tamagotchi but with cool monsters. (For people in this generation that doesn't know what a Digimon is.)
I hate Tamagochies because at night of Christmas it screams, like i was idk what to do so i put it in parent's storage that made parent's don't sleep too. It was horrible, because it was night of CHRISTMAS, AND 2 HOURS OF SLEEP! Now I have TamagotchiHobia. Even at todays night i remember it and i was hoping that this demonic creature will die and don't make creepy sounds anymore at night lol. (Even if i throw it out from the house i still scared from this thing to come back XD)
Dammmmmmn even young Becca was making the dough. NOW LOOK AT HER NOW!!!! MAKING ANIMATED SHORTS WHILE MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH!!! *sniffles and sheds a tear* I'm so proud....😢😊
I love the cartoony animation style of these. I didn’t grow up with shows with a style like this, but I can appreciate the old school animation. Keep up the good work!
Actually there's a secret pause combination and a secret mute combination. One of them was pressing down all but the middle button and the other was pressing the middle button along with either the left or right but that I can't remember which one.
I underestimated how widely loved Tamagotchis of all kind were in my friend circled outside our school. Be it the OG eggs, Digimon, or a outlier with a cute puppy or panda, I don't think I know anyone who hasn't considered getting back into it in their 30s. And as such when I revisited Digimon World, the RPG based on the pets of the same name, on my stream, the excitement was IMMENSE! 😊
I swear schools need to approve some of these, we tried selling stuff but get punished for doing it like... when youre an adult, you need those skills, not to be slammed when you do it
I absolutely love the style of even just this short vid! It's like a blast from the past and feels like a mix of the classic with the modernity of today's world. It's really pleasing and creatively well done! :) Alsooo making those big bucks at such a young age is setting you up for success!! 😆
I vaguely remember having a tamagotchi for a brief time as a preteen. It taught me how much I don't want to be a parent and that I would be a horrible one if I was a parent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I had my own elementary business at some point where I had a fake tattoo kit with pens and stick on stencils and kids would just line up to get them 😭😭 I would have to keep it secret bc when the teachers found out they would take my markers and make us line up to the bathrooms to wash them off so I started telling kids to see me after school, and I would literally set up shop at the pillar I always sat at while waiting to get picked up by my parents and did kids tattoos. That continued until one by one all of my markers were taken away by the teachers 😂
Can you imagine if she had to take care of a Tamagochi on a grey brick that could theoretically run the OG code of a TI-84 Calculator? Made by Nintendo & Namco/Bandi.
