@expyclipz6152 If you listened, you'll hear that the man's father was the one projecting his truma-based fear onto his son. And even if the son was traumatized, it's not appropriate to try and convince someone that's about to give birth that they're going to die. He could've discussed his concerns in a reasonable manner without convincing her she was going to die, or sought therapy

Story 1: I'm with OP 100% of the story. Ex showed his true colors when the breakdown happened. Story 2: OP made the right choices. Sister's still asleep by what happened and gaslight her about the situation, TWICE! The axe forgets, the tree remembers.

You totally made my day!!! I've been hoping for an update to 1st story & im so happy to hear that both Mom & baby are safe! I firmly believe if that FIL had been in the delivery room OP might not have made it out alive. Also makes me wonder about the ex's Mom...
