I was watching Hikaru's stream this TT when he played Eric. Hikaru was so blown when he realized he had to play Eric towards the end. And sure enough Eric played a masterful game. It really shows you that even the great Hikaru respects and fears Eric's chess skills. And that says *alot*

Bystanders stared at him as he brushed past them in the hall, some of them smirking to themselves as they had an inkling that a second round was about to commence. But Hikaru was a changed man. Despite the deathly gaze on his face as he made his way to Eric's room, he was a man of love, not war. When he got to Eric's room, he found the door unlocked and Eric alone inside, asleep. He chuckled at Eric's carelessness, but as he pushed the door shut behind him, his heart was racing. He quietly got onto Eric's bed and straddled him, taking joy in topping the man that had made him submit just hours earlier. He began caressing Eric's face as Eric was slowly waking up from the disturbance. When Eric had fully awoken, he was greeted by the sight of Hikaru on top of him, and his face in Hikaru's hands. "I love you," Hikaru said softly as he leaned in and kissed Eric.

What's the bigger story here? Why is Hikki crying again? Seemed like a solid win to me.
