Tips: You don't need to plant the Planterns that close to zombies, they can illuminate a 5x7 area. For a Pool level, Tangle Kelps can kill Dolphin Zombies before they jump over them. Magnet-shrooms have a seven columns by five rows range so you don't have to put them in the same row as the zombie. Magnet-shroom can steal a Digger Zombie's pickaxe and force him out of the ground. Ladder Zombie's ladder acts as a shield like Screen-Door Zombie's Door. Catapult Plants can hit them without hitting the shields since they attack from above. Fume-shroom works too. Each Umbrella Leaf covers a 3x3 square area centered on the Umbrella Leaf

Bringing gatling pea to a roof level is trolling of the highest degree. (but in fairness, as a kid, I thought the cactus could extend himself to shoot over the roof's angle lol)

Hey Blaze, I just wanted leave a few things that you should know if you choose to go into pvz 2. Unfortunately pvz 2 went down the mobile gaming road, so you can essentially beat the whole game with your wallet and nothing else (I’m not joking, you could win without putting down a single plant). Still, the game is very fun and expansive, and the recourses you gain is absolutely enough to beat the whole game. In PvZ 2, plants you gain along the adventure are well balanced, as well as plants that can be bought with gems, however: plants that are obtained with REAL MONEY ONLY and plants obtained via seed packets are often extremely overpowered and make the game easy. The game also has a ‘power up’ feature which basically lets you kill zombies for coins during the level, and you can also by ‘plant food’ with coins. Basically what I’m trying to say is that the game is very fun, but a lot of content should, in my opinion, be left alone, because it’s inclusion breaks the balance of the game. Obviously you should play the game how you want, and we’ll all still be here, I just wanted to let you know what to except from the comments if you make a pvz 2 video, and keep you informed. PLEASE play the minigames, puzzle and survival modes, theyre really fun and some of them are challenging. Theres a lot of stuff still left do to in this game. Also cant wait to see pvz2, reccomend playing reflourished.

Tip: Leaf Blower cover the whole map, it means even you place it infront of your lines it can blew away those Balloon Zombies that already pass thru your lines, just don't let it reach the lawn mowers

I know this video is like a year old but in case you read this, PVZ (and other classic Popcap games) has a few fun easter eggs Typing MOUSTACHE or MUSTACHE gives zombies mustaches (and gives you an achievement) Typing FUTURE gives zombies cool glasses (i think that this also speeds up the garlic eating animation for some reason? which i've seen speedrunners use as a trick) Typing PINATA makes zombies explode with candy upon death (if your tree of wisdom is at a certain height) Typing each word again toggles the easter egg off again. Each one also plays a funny sound effect when activated/deactivated. If you click "help" on the main menu, you get a funny note from the zombies. Each of the plants' almanac descriptions have some silly stuff in them. It's dad-joke levels of humor but it still makes me laugh. Pumpkin's references a character from Peggle (another Popcap game) Dancing Zombie's description in the almanac says "Any resemblance between Dancing Zombie and persons living or dead is purely coincidental", since originally he was made to look like Michael Jackson, as a reference to Thriller (This was before his death. it was not meant to be a tasteless joke about his death. It's one of those things that just kind of aged poorly). But after his death they were forced to change it to the current, 'generic disco guy' design. There are a few other little details in there, probably, but I just think its neat. I always loved the Easter eggs, charming jokes, and references Popcap games always had back in the day. Side note, i don't expect a whole video about these easter eggs, cuz there's not a lot to make content on and I'm also not the boss of what you make. But it's fun to try out and look at if you play again in your free-time. Same goes for anyone else reading this comment. :)

​​Hey blaze, Ive been seeing some comments advising against pvz2 or labelling it as a bad game because ea ruined it (that is not true at all if research is done). Whether or not you choose to play is up to you, but pvz2 is definitely worth checking out. Pvz2 is a good successor to the first game. It's a huge misconception that pvz2 is a pay to win game. While yes you can use real money to fly through the main worlds, this completely ruins the fun of the game imo. Just playing the game normally is the best experience and certainly not impossible. As others have pointed out, it would probably be best to play the reflourished mod. It keeps the original game mostly the same, adds content which was removed from the game overtime (some minigames, yeti, world order, animations and probably most importantly adds back some of the best tracks of the OST as well as even adding some custom music and lots of new plant costumes). It also removes all the bad things- microtransactions, ads and the levelling system. To top it all of the game kept the original worlds the same but added expansions to each world, as well as adding 2 completely new worlds with new plants, zombies and gimmicks. Theres also eventw the mod has as well as normal pvz2 events, the most noteable of which being the spongebob ages april fools event and the altverz mod crossover, which is another good mod. Also the mod isnt a nightmare to get. Honestly this mod reignited my love for pvz2 and i hope you play it.

43:15 In the future, especially when playing the rain level, make sure to take advantage of the cactuses when they show up to save yourself some grief. When there are not balloon zombies, they will basically just act as peashooters and take out the zombies. So don't just save them for the balloons

If you play PVZ 2 it might be a good idea to just start with the Reflourished mod as it basically brings back everything vanilla PVZ 2 had initially (as many things were removed over time) and then adds a bunch of bonus stuff for after the adventure. You'll probably enjoy it a lot more than the current vanilla game, as updates have kinda ruined it.

My mom used to play this game and still plays the sequel on her iPad. Her favorite plant in the first game was the cat looking plant (I forgot the name but the one in Dave's shop). Because it can attack any direction. For me I like the buttercorn and star so much hahahahaha.

You should try some of the extra content like mini games, they’re really fun. Also survival is where the game actually gets difficult, not super difficult, but much harder than what it’s been

I would like to recommend you playing a tower defense game called Kingdom Rush because it was the best tower defense at the time and it’s still one one of the best today. PVZ and Kingdom Rush were the first games that I’m in loved with so I really hope you check them out.❤ Note: it’s made by Ironhide game studios and there are 5 different games of it but I would recommend playing the oldest ones first to the newest and even try out their other 2 games called Iron Marines and Iron Marines Invasion.

While there wouldn't be any issue with you playing the normal pvz 2 it would also limit a lot of the stuff you could get. Along with a lot of the updates powercreaping the levels quite a bit since they weren't designed factoring in a lot of the new broken plants or mechanics. The two pvz 2 mods that are usually talked about are Pvz 2 Reflourished and Pvz 2 Altverz. Reflourished acts as a sort of dlc of pvz 2 adding lots of new levels to the base game along with rebalance of the plants and some of the zombies. And altverz changes the progress of the game and the levels to be more similar to pvz 1 along with revamping a lot of the plants. Eighter would be great to see if you choose to play a modded Pvz 2.

Okay so, blaze since you finished PVZ1, you should play PVZ2 the sequel was a little better then the first one with new plants along the way and new worlds to explore, anyway this was an amazing play through bro, and not only that you should play PVZ Garden warfare 1 and 2, plus Battle for neighbourhood, also for PVZ2 theres multiple bosses in each every single world, also after you play The whole trilogy, could you play Sonic the hedgehog, please i wanna see you play it Also here some tips and advices: 1. In PVZ2 theres alot like ALOT of plants and zombies in the second sequel theres like 100+ plants and 100+ zombies i believe, so take that as a note 2. In PvZ garden warfare 1, 2 and battle for neighbourhood theres a few varieties of plants and zombies and im not gonna spoil it for you but there is 6 new characters for each side in pvz GW 2 and BFNH the main four for plants and zombies are Peashooter, sunflower, cactus, Foot soilder, the engineer, the scientist, correct me if im wrong football star. 3. The main four of each side has also different varieties and abillites 4. In GW 1 and 2, plus BFNH has multi player, so you can invite your friends, family anyone, but also you can play with random people 5. Before you play the Next games of PVZ, make sure to watch the trailers, because the trailers are FANTASTIC

the PVZ shooter games are: PVZ Garden Warfare (no longer supported) (4 Characters on each team) PVZ Garden Warfare 2 (3 more Characters on each team since last game, making it 7 on each team total) PVZ Battle for Neighborville (9 more Characters since last game, making it 11 on plant team and 12 on Zombie team)

There a couple tips for you: 1. Umbrella leaf has a range of 3x3 area so it protects itself and plants around it 2. Gargantuar takes 2 insta kills to defeat as you saw you need something like squash and then cherry bomb or whatever you want but when won't use a single insta kill on him that's where the chalenge really begins with Gargatuars I hope this helps a little and also i hope you check out mini games, puzzles, survivals and adventure 2 (adventure 2 is basically same as normal adventure wich you just beat but harder with more zombie hordes and more waves of zombies)

If the ladder stays on plant just replays the jack o lantern 🎃 that's a tip and if you start to earn more sun transforms those sun flower to twin sunflower to clear those other single sunflower and make another defense you can put repeater in front lane to transform them to Gatling peas then put torch wood in front of them and that's a Rambo defense You can also PVZ 2 but in mobile phones that's pretty hectic specially in neon mix tour stage that's it happy planting🥰🎃🌽🌵🌻🥔🪴🌱🌰

Glad you're enjoying more PvZ! Please don't listen to the people in the comments trying to get you to play mods. The base vanilla game is fun. And although plant levelling can be a pain to grind, it makes later levels so much easier due to the insane difficulty spike. People have this weird vendetta about the paid OPTIONAL AND NOT AT ALL NECESSARY TO BEAT THE GAME plants and use that as a valid criticism for the game, even though it's a small issue. Try vanilla games before trying mods

you should definitely check out PVZ 2, unlike the first game it has more levels with its own gimmicks and conditions to win.

Hey Blaze! I'm not sure if you saw my comment on the previous PvZ video but I commented that since you enjoyed this game so much, you would definitely enjoy a game called Bloons Tower Defense 6 (BTD6)! It's the same concept as this game but I'd say it's better and more fun to play!

If you are going to play all the minigames and puzzle stuff, i have to tell you have to get so much money, and i recommend going in the zen garden, i found out you can make SO MUCH money in the zen garden, and i %100'd the game myself after finding it (you need to get something like 550000 thousand to %100 the game) Edit: I guess it was just on the mobile version my bad

Please play one of the garden warfare games if you play 2 there aren't as many playable plants but there are variants which in my opinion and a lot of other people's was one of the best parts of the first two plants vs zombies garden warfare memes

Btw, you could download a modded version of pvz2 that has unlimited coins for the power ups so that you don't worry too much spending real money on plants.. great video, brought me back to my childhood!

About the garden warfare games, garden warfare 1 has 2 different game modes, 1 it's multplayer where there, it has different game modes, and there's garden ops where you + 3 other players have to defende against AI zombies for 10 hordes, garden warfare 2 has the same thing but it also has a story mode and graveyard ops which is the same as garden ops but you play as the zombies, Battle for neighbourville is not my favorite game but it has the same game modes but the story mode is WAY better than GW2's story mode

There are ways to play pvz 2 on pc, however it will require an emulator like Bluestacks, since it is a mobile game.
