Oh shit, pvz? I never expected this. This music in this game is an absolute BOP. Almost 2 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY????? I knew this game was gonna enjoyable to him...

Tip during your Night battles: You can freely spam your puff shrooms since they cost 0 sun and they shoot 3 tiles so dont put them too close either. Or use them as a temporary blockage instead of wasting sun on potato mines or wallnuts The doom shroom leaves a crater but the tile will regenerate after a while so dont hestitate to nuke the zombies like in 2-10. All those football zombies could have nothing by those. Fume-shrooms was also another of your big mistakes. They are designed to take out the screen doors as if they were regular zombies. Without fume-shrooms, screen doors are basically bucketheads which is why it was difficult for you to take them out. Fume-shroom also passes through zombies which is useful against hordes and dancing zombies. Recommend to place them somewhere with the range of 4 tiles. Best if you stack 2 - 3 each lane to easily wipe out almost any zombies. The hypno-shrooms are better to be saved in your slot and use it when a good zombie actually appears like a football/buckethead and even a dancer zombie that will cause it to summons its own army fighting for you. Extra: During the swimming pool, If a Zomboni left a decent length of ice, There is another new zombie. Its now in your almanac. The next time you see a zomboni, let these guys come and meet you hehe.

There's a debate between putting sunflowers in front or behind your damage dealers. You don't really need to worry about it in PvZ1 but if you do decide to play PvZ2 (the modded ones are especially good) putting your sun-generators in front is more viable to survive on harder stages.

While PVZ 1 encourages you to put Sun Producers in the back, professional players generally put them in the front as keeping your attackers safe is crucial. In PVZ 1 it doesn't matter for the most part(except in a few hard Roof Levels and Survival Mode), but in PVZ 2 it can make a huge difference, as some stages like Big Wave Beach are trivial if you know to put sun in the front and a nightmare if you don't

I'm gonna be save-editing this comment as I watch the video for some tips: Rule 1: if its not symmetrical, something is wrong. Always pay attention at the progress bar beside the levels to know if a huge wave is approaching or its a final wave so you can be prepared for them with the insta kills. Also you dont have to worry about the sun in the final waves so you can focus on collecting the coins. (Youre missing a lot of coins the zombies drop like a LOT, around 5k money may have despawned). You can kill the very first few zombies of the round with low cost insta kills like potato mines and squash to farm up sunflowers and get more economy early game. With good early game economy you can basically start planting repeaters and snow peas right away so Peashooters become obsolete. Bucket heads are the most annoying zombies even in the late game. They never stop being annoying. On the conveyor belt levels (X-5 and X-10) its best to save the insta kills and start planting the plants from the very first column as you dont get sunflowers and sun, so no need to save the spaces for them! (As a good rule of hand, always start planting from the leftmost columns first even if the plants are short ranged so you have more time to react and if necessary use insta kills in the righter lanes in emergency. I do not recommend using the Wallnuts and Tallnuts (unless absolutely needed). They are a huge waste of sun as they're mostly useful early game and early game only 1 plant (like peashooter, puff shrooms etc) can kill the normal zombies easily so you dont need the stall from them. Its better to just plant as many sunflowers as possible (especially in night levels) and not waste sun on wallnut. Always plant the expensive plants on the inner sides so they dont get eaten. You were making the mistake of planting the fume shrooms(75 cost) ahead of the puff shrooms(0 cost) which you couldve replaced at any time but they at the dmg dealing expensive plants were getting eaten first leaving you with no dmg. Never plant plants ON TOP of the zombies (unless theyre insta kills or wallnut/tallnuts). Plants em as far as possible from the zombies for more reaction time. Its always good to grave bust all graves since the busted graves drop silver and gold coins for upgrades. P.S. You should read all the zombie and plants lore in the almanac, its very tasteful and funny ;)

Puff-shroom has a range of 3 tiles and Fume-shroom has a range of 4 tiles, you're underestimating their ranges a bit For strategies, I recommend keeping the lawn symmetric. Not only does it look satisfying, it also ensures all the lanes are equally well guarded.

I can’t wait for you to play the Garden Warfare Series (or probably just GW2 and BFN since GW1 Servers aren’t great), it’s one of the things that made me fall in love with the Pvz series. Both GW2 and BFN have Story modes btw.

Here's a tip: try to plant symmetrically, behind the peashooter's put snow peashooter since they are more important than the normal peashooter's I hope you upload more videos of this wonderful game

Fun fact: The model for the Disco zombie from the old version was Michael Jackson, although MJ didn't gave his consent to Pop-cap to add his model in the game, after he passed he was then added in the game, but his producers sued Pop-cap so they had to change it

This one was part of my childhood, a true classic. I definitely would like to see more from this and the mobile game, however I do know the mobile game gets repetitive eventually. 3:53 Two columns of suns in the back, a new player and already knowing the tactics. 13:50 Crazy Dave! 17:29 Putting the mines behind the walls is a little silly. 23:32 The Chomper, the ability to one shot most enemies including some of the strongest units and do a lot damage to the few she can't Instakill is pretty good, she's one of the units I keep even to the end. 27:15 The Cherry and other one-use units aren't that useful except for emergencies so I tend to not use them. 34:59 Minor tip: Should have gotten a chomper for bucket head instead of replacing the wall first since he just ate a old nut, also multiple layers of wallnuts are fine. 51:23 Minor tip: You should spam those free units at a point like this. 52:11 Money can disappears so you have to grab it with the mouse. You missed about 1/4 of all potential dollars in this video. 1:32:41 This pea is pretty powerful, you can place it in the top&bottom lane and it doubles up on those rows so it acts like a repeater too. I recommend placing one in every lane with the fire stumps. 1:35:39 I mean they didn't stop, they made the mobile game which has a some new content, and they made those third-person shooters which are good. (Have only played the first 2 so I don't know about the others). Though the shooters are fun they are obviously not this type of game, I agree I love strategy games more than shooters despite that's where I started gaming.

1:52:25 is by far my favorite part of this video mainly because of the mayhem and rain of fire (literally) that he's inflicting on these Zombies!! I swear Blaze is going to ABSOLUTELY FLIP THE MOMENT HE MEETS THE FINAL BOSS OF PVZ

PvZ1 is a great game, I'd love to see more. As for PvZ2 it isn't bad in itself, but it's different and has some balancing issues as well as microtransactions. The game itself is fun and a lot more fast pace, but it's long and feels less rewarding to play. I say after PvZ1 test it out and see if you like it, most people who I've seen play PvZ2 stopped after an episode or two.

Just a tip on the game base on experience. When playing pvz, I always have an odd strategy to count how long each hit kills the zombies. On normal ones equal to 10 hits. Cone Zombie equals to 20 hits and Bucket Zombie equals to 30 hits. I’m not sure if this counting is accurate, but playing this game as a child, I always count the hits. My favorite plants would be cat-tail, corn-kernel, snow pea and winter-melon. Very nostalgic to watch you play this and I’m glad you’re having fun.

Haha, your placement of plants as zombies came and not in neat little rows like I do definitely triggered my OCD! I absolutely love watching newbies play PVZ, it's one of my favourite nostalgia trip game. I think the best tip I know is that when they give you a plant before the level, you generally really do need that plant to clear that particular level. Also tiny zero sun shrooms are an absolutely underrated gem, they are free and they are pretty effective in killing zombies and cone zombies. My absolute favourite plant have to be watermelon (funfact: I don't enjoy eating watermelon even a little bit), they are pretty powerful and just nice to use in any level, also cattails are always fun.

Also, here are some tips for later levels! - during The night levels, spam puff shrooms! They’re free and super powerful! - While you unlock a new sun producer in the night time levels, I’d still recommend using sunflowers. They’re overall the best sun producer in the game. - use potato mines and walnuts to stall the first few zombies at the beginning of the level, this will stall the game and give you time to plant lots of sunflowers! Hope these helped! 💖

Another great video! If you want to play PvZ2, consider playing modded version called "reflourished". The main story and levels stay the same, but you you don't have to worry about micro transactions and ads. Only after completing the main story, you unlock new levels.

Tip: cone heads and Bucket heads can survive a lot. Place a snowpea as well as multiple regular peashooters to take them out before they even get to you!

I have some tips you could use when playing the game. 1. Peashooter: Peashooters are an early plant. Plant them at the start of the level and try to replace them with something stronger later like repeater (it'll help you have a lot of space to plant different plant) 2. Potato mine: Try to plant a potato mine right in front of sunflowers and don't plant anything in front of them. You need to lure the first zombie to detonate the potato mine to give you more time and suns. 3. Wall nut: its better if you not spaming to much wall nut. Just plant one wall nut and don't stack them in the same line. This may give you extra defends, but its taking space to plant a attacker plants or a support plants. 4. Any single use plant: Cherry bomb, hypno shroom, ice shroom, etc. Don't use them to early. They might be needed at in short time. 5. Puff shroom: plant puff shroomas many as you can. It work perfectly if you want to triggered a vaulting action for pole vault zombie. Thats all I can give you right now. In the future level, I could give you extra tips, but its a spoiler so I don't want to ruin the surprise

I just got done playing plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 then I saw this notification on RU-vid perfect timing

PvZ great addicting game it never gets old, just a classic game, my favorite are potato mines, chomper and the blue melons😊 and the one that remove the graves i like it and frustrating bec i want to remove them all before the stage finishes. Great tip, mines are the best defenders Early it controls the pace of zombies early bc when the game starts it always starts with 1 zombie and before the other one appears the 1st one already on the last 3 panels, then question how you control pacing? if you kill the zombie early the other one appears like 2 secs so at start you need to let the zombie walk so the other one will not appear immediately, so just put the potato mines on the last 3rd panel were the zombie appear while you make sunflowers 1st and 2nd panel, it works everytime and i used them to kill those back stabbers, you can do this like mine defense like 4 to 7 zombies at early really give you the time to develop, then combo it with chomper behind nut then mines front then 3 lanes of anti tires front of mine. Nasty stuff control i made, really chomp and BOOm, never used those bombs it removes the trill, i do like the plant that stomp and the vines really like to controls stuff 😁

You can type "moustache" as a easter egg, for all the zombies to grow moustaches, and get an achievement if you wanted to 100% this game.

Also holy shit it makes so much sense that you have some attention issues, because I am the same and we both have the same luck that we SOMEHOW pull through in the end despite the odds

Spikeweeds work really well with the wall-nuts. You can place them in front of the wall-nuts and since the zombies can’t eat them they will be damaged by them while eating the wall-nut.

Tip 2: Use the Cherry Bomb in Despirate Situations like a Crowd of Zombies are Almost Entering You're House Tip 3: Always Spectate Between You're Plants in the Left and The Zombies your Going to Face in the Right (Before Battle in Levels) Tip 3: Give it All You've Got when you see the "Football Zombie" Tip 4: Stop Putting Plants on Areas Randomlly, Please Think and See for 5 Seconds then Decide Where to Put it Tip 5: Be Slightly Artistic. Depends on How Many Plants are there, Examine Patterns Like this: Sunflower,Pea Shooter,Snow Pea,Pea Shooter,Snow Pea,etc. 21:16 You're Welcome.

Quick tip from a PVZ veteran (at least, I consider myself one, been playing for over 10 years and started with the DS release) is to put your sunflowers in front of your ranged damage dealers like peashooters and scaredy shrooms, because if the zombies are eating your sunflowers and sun shrooms and they’re in front of your damage dealers, they will still be attacked by the peashooters and you might not even lose your Sun producers. Also fun tip for wallnut bowling (you’ll be able to play it again in the mini-games section) is if you chain multiple zombies off of one wallnut you’ll earn coins for each one you hit, the more you hit with one wallnut, the more coins you get until you start getting diamonds, which are worth 1000 coins. Also the pool cleaners are good to buy because the lawn mowers can’t go across the water lanes, but the pool cleaners can. So those are a must
