Forza has always been the game to get if you can't drive, honestly letting the game semi-drive by itself is the biggest improvement of the series because it at least reduces the amount of online lobbies filled with 12 year olds who don't know where the brake button is and ram you off at T1
>Crashes into other cars, rear ends them constantly >No penalty >Another car crashes into FM guy from the side, no fault of the FM guy at all >0.5 penalty
It’s literally not an ai, it’s just a combination of assists keeping the car following the racing line, with no “intelligence” to speak of. It won’t pit, it won’t overtake unless by accident, and it will simply drive to wherever the racing line says to go and at what speed it says to go and brake when the racing line says to brake, with zero regard for any other racing conditions. It is literally designed not to be used this way yet still somehow functions enough to beat some actual players.
Another Eden video another good day, now we got Eden taking part in the "Built From The Ground Up" meme. A good video this will be, and with a new rivalry contender for GT guy, FM guy is here to make things go boom.
When you run out of fuel it basically just disables the throttle and you coast until you stop while the engine is still running somehow. Then you have to manually quit
The editing is always on point, but on this video, it stands out as being just perfect. The reworded song lyrics are just the cherry on top that the video needed

They brought back the a.i. driving in fm7. But it was much better. You could change you driver to drive : smooth to save tires, normal or aggressive to pass and make up ground
As someone grinding this game hoping one day it will be on par with FM7 or FH5… some little interesting things for multiplayer racing. The qualifier series is a short duration race, meant to be a race without pit stops on medium compound, medium duration races are meant to include 1 pit stop, or on some tracks with proper tire management, no pit stops on hard compound is possible. Forza’s stock tunes in this game are extremely poor, and in many cases just fixing some quick things like tire pressure and camber/toe can be a few seconds improvement in lap time, another few seconds out of a full in-depth tune. “Built from the ground up” as we’ve been saying in the community… that statement is only true if the foundation was laid a few hundred feet below ground. Penalty system is still a broken mess, often times the victim is handed the penalty as the ai that handles the penalty believes that if someone was braking and the other wasn’t, the one that wasn’t braking is at fault… so a driver beginning to accelerate out of a corner will usually be handed a penalty instead of the driver behind that missed the braking point and sent them to the shadow realm.
That was a very nice and interesting experiment. I bet people will use this in offline custom races to just increase the car level. It is almost like a B-spec. (Almost as you have to change the settings)
When I was doing it, I realized that it's not actually full throttle and when you hold the throttle while the AI does it, it gots faster and still does everything else perfectly. Just faster.
Seeing how shit this game is makes me reaaaally worried about Horizon 6…. 2024 might be the complete death of the Forza series and that is very sad considering I’ve been playing since FM3. With games like GTA 6 in 2025, Test Drive, Pacific Drive, Assetto Corsa 2, and a few others, If Horizon 6 flops, Forza could very much be discontinued as a series. I genuinely hope Horizon 6 can pull the Forza series from the depths of hell and become a giant of racing games.
The AI of this game is so broken it made me rage quit and uninstall. Not only it's bad, it's suicidal. They launch themselves onto other AI and the player at every chance they get. I had to restart a race 5 times because the AI was causing a massive incident at the first turn. I'm actually surprised the driving assists work fairly well.
I hate almost every direction this game has gone in, the career, the car levels, driver level meaning nothing. But goddamn the actual driving and multiplayer have kept me coming back every day. 4.8k Ranking safety a and almost every race is a banger.
@@worldwar1424 honestly im only playing it cause nothing else to play right now, but the multiplayer has been a blast and even then the hoppers are garbage. The rest of the game is a shitty empty shell, id hate to have actually paid money for this.
@@lakie92 I’m glad you had some type of fun though that’s good to see, I usually just stick to the older titles ☠️ I might just uninstall it though I really don’t play it, spent 12 hours and gotten fed up
@@lakie92same here, I play it just because of the actual driving physics, I hope they fix all the other broken aspects because this game is valid, despite often being frustrating to play.
Letting Forza drive for you is like leaving the EU- mandated Lane- Keeping- Assist on in a new car and sse how fast it will crash on its own :) So funny how Forza Guy insists on ramming before overtaking := The rest of the AI is crazy in a packed setting, cant believe how racing games still struggle with that. The newest Automobilista 2 update made a great leap in that department...
forever hoping that racing game fans get amazing games again... Kinda just hoping that TDUSC blows us away when it releases. I am very impressed by the accessibility competency in this game, actually being competent will make it actually useful for those that need it.
i can tell, this forza are absolutely "BEST AI GAME" ever. Even sometimes you can clear that game with just doing nothing. Just buy/get a car, and then hire some Forza Guy to drive it and then just watch the game. This game is recommended for "Skill Issue" or "typical some manager game" player, lol but, hey. this is quite interesting. GT B-Spec vs Forza Autoplay. There's are GT guy and Forza guy, hmmmm....
True, and assuming a BMR (basal metabolic rate) of 1700 calories burnt per day just to keep Dustin alive regardless of activity level - comes out to about 70 calories an hour - with a runtime of approx. half an hour and insisting on a +5 second penalty for every calorie burned doing "nothing"...roughly 177 seconds... ...well damn, I don't think he's gonna make podium.
It also doesn't give those of us using blind assists the option of avoiding trafic via its audio position though that may be coming soon. I like the fact that they've tried to include a variety of options so people can race as they want.
Dustin, you should make a challenge about crashing in gran turismo, like if you crash youre car in a race, you have to sell 1 car,you can still crash youre rivals, but you cant touch sand and kiss the wall, the license test doesnt count
Because of the blind assists. It also does narrate most of the menus and it's improving with each update. Despite what people think I like the game and it's my first time ever playing an accessible racing game on console.
