What a special treat for us to get to sit and talk with calypso royalty David Michael Rudder in this latest edition of ‚I Belong to the House of Music‘.
Very wonderful exchange. The interviewer is well prepared and knowlegeable..the importance of which is often overlooked. The Honourable David Rudder is masterful as ever. He enjoyed this interview ! But he earned the whole bowl of Starch mangoes oui

It's always fascinating to hear the thoughts of King David Rudder. Certainly, he has a keen sense of observation and deep appreciation for ways of the Trinidadian. I bet that if he was given the opportunity to be born again.. he would choose the same Belmont and the same time. Lucky for us, he was able to capture the world around him and provide us with a rendition that is enthralling and entertaining. May he continue to teach us about ourselves while telling us our stories in that quintessential Rudder way.
David Rudder is truly awesome sensation who keeps Trinidad and Tobago on the Map. As a young person I did not understand but as I grew along with him and heard of his Journey and heard him at functions I realized and learned even more about him through his music. His songs are like Hymns so as a Christian who really believes he speaks to me. I really loves when he sings, 'Our Father'. This tune is a tune that tells me at the end of a party. It was time to safely go home to rest.
