Its actually still pretty fun to see people *not* playing meta decks into Roffle, somehow even moreso to see them win too. You just can't get mad at people playing for fun!
I've just went back into constructed after time off and I'm running into far less meta decks now, it's actually been pretty fun playing my res priest in standard
For a second, I thought it was going to be the Uldum quest for Warrior when I read the title and I got excited. Now I just want to see Hack the System in action.
A reasonable sourcerer's apprentice nerf would be "your spells cost 1 less than their base mana cost." So it would be like Brann and having 2 would not count
@@usernameabcd1915 it’s a shame fun decks like that pay the price for nerfs based around better more annoying ones. But quest mage could still live on with mana giants and battleground battlemaster
The reason the Shaman, Warlock and Hunter (and to a lesser extent Mage) questlines are so good is because they encourage people to do the same thing they did to get to the quest reward - but the reward makes it better. The Warrior questline is guaranteed reach and potential inevitability in an aggro deck with no high cost cards, that comes online at around the same time the aggro player starts running out of cards to play, which is usually when you want to draw your reach as an aggro player. The Paladin or Priest questlines don't encourage you to do the same thing you were doing before completing the quest, and that's sad.
Actually, the paladin is the same, you are an agrro deck that use more cards than your opponent, and by the time you run out, you got a great button. The problem is that the button needs more turns to dominate than a mage needs to kill you, so it never took off.
@@eshansingh1 The Priest quest is played lol. I would know, I play it myself. The Paladin one just needs stuff from Wild. Cards like Firefly, Jar Dealer, and Crystology would do a lot to push it to viability.
I actually use this deck very often. Albeit I have meme cards like Goldshire footman with the deck name being "This city must be purged ". You can probably already guess what paladin skin I use for it...
"well now that my blood pressure is through the roof" This is why I watch Roffle play and don't play myself. I just can't hack the nerves from vs. matches!
I've been playing this quest to amazing success since the first video you posted about it, maybe a month ago? I don't remember. It's my highest win rate deck at the moment: 151-38 lol - and perfect for "play 10 1-cost cards"
I know you don’t like the pirate quest, but I’m trying to figure a decent deck for wild with both pirate quest in the beginning and then Un’goro quest for late game, and was wondering what your take on this idea would be?
Hey Roffle, some people ask if the stream is live because the biggest brazilian streamer reruns his livestreams so people from the "tribo", tribe, the name that he chose for his viewers, can always watch him together :D Greetings from Brazil \o/
Sometimes I wonder how good Patches really is as a card. But that first game shows how much of a difference it would have made had he been pulled from the deck
Not at all I've been desperately trying to make a consistent version of this and the only way I found that doesn't involve cramming your deck full of 1-Cost cards is with Crystology in wild. Playing a 1-Cost card that draws you your 1-Cost minions. Also you're dead wrong about the Ignite fatigue thing.
I actually a list for this too (running Prince Liam once i finish the quest and Lothraxion for Divine Shield on Silver Hands!): AAEBAZ8FHogFpwXdCu0PghDDFou9Arq9ApfBAuvCArjHAtD0Atn+AvmTA/yjA/2lA5a2A5XNA57NA/bWA4PeA4feA6LeA8zrA7T2A6L4A5X5A+qfBMmgBMqgBAAA
