just showing you guys my new samurai's I picked up. my plan was to use one for the Toyota axle swap build series video. I can't figure out what I wanna do.
Omg you have gems I have to off them a convertible and the tintop fully restored I love them its a puerto rican thing lol I'm from New Jersey and we are always looking for parts enjoy your samurai they are so much fun
Love your collection, really wound like to know the cost of each other, and how much you spent rebuilding to original and to off roader. I did the same with trucks, a grocery getter, working mule, traveler, off roader, street racer, wife doesn't know I have other in a body repair garage
Go with what you know m8 seen some nice looking beasts in the background 👍🏻so you know you're way round them. But the silver one would be nice to see back on the road. Good luck with wat you decide .
Fix them all up! Remember they can't bring in any more so what we have is all there is! The silver one is the first one you should fix up.Put new model VW bug body's on some of them!
I definitely agree with you on the sliver one and the black one that was laid on its side. They should be put back on road as stock! As far as a rig to build with toy axles, I think I would use the white one! It's more complete, the black one with no dash could be a good one for a diesel ,1 tons and 40s lol! Anyways that's a awesome find! Keep us updated. Like watching your vids! Colin from nova scotia, Canada!
I’m sure if you use parts from 1 of them and make a couple decent rolling chassis, people would buy them off you, I personally would love to do a small diesel swap in one, and a basically completely minus a motor rolling chassis would be a perfect base
i would put parts from the shot up one to the rolled nice one and make it nice. and then use the white one to botch together a Toyota axle samurai onto the shot black one.
Wow, you're going big! Sub'd :) I just bought my first Samurai a few weeks ago. Such an awesome little car. I love the "I don't know why.. I don't know why.." LOL I totally identify.
The sprung / efi one is the one to build imo. Likely you would have had to work on the messed up parts anyway, regardless if they were done or not. The last one is the nicest looking to keep original. Bends in the black one might be a little too much. But so nice otherwise. Use the first two for parts
I sold the white one. I do have another white one that’s fuel injected already that’s on 32s I was thinking about putting Toyota axles under. Just not set on which one To build yet.
I would rebuild the silver one and keep it stock using the others as parts cars or just sell them on and have another as a modified off-roader. Too many Zuks will result in all of them not getting finished so just try to build one or two.
I don’t like the negativity here. Lol. I don’t like to sell them because they are getting harder to find. I got some stuff done on the rolled one. I’ll get them done.
Your samurais are either “too clean to turn into off-road rigs” or “too much work to be worth”. Mate just pick one and do it they’d all do well with your skills
I would choose one and run with it. You have enough parts to make a really good one. The rest I would sell as a whole or part out. Build one good one and move on before you get burned out. You will get what I call "Builder burn out".
I get it, I have five lol. Picking the right one to build seals it's fate. Their values are rising. I wish I had your garages! Silver stock daily, best body black to offroad. Some mild builds will fund your keepers. Build for other people using your rigs & they buy the parts.
Love all the samurais, Just got new tires on my samurai today. Its all stock, the ac is kinda going flat and needs the 134 conversion soon, But its cherry, I live in AZ so its rust free, has a few minor things from its years of being around, minor dings clear coat is thin and the side stripes are cracked and faded. My parents have a green tin top that is also is super clean but has a tiny lift, also another arizona truck so its got ac and 0 rust. Love seeing you collect these cars as I have a love for them as well. My swift git and super clean metros I love all the suzukis :)
Got me feeling like the rust on my tin top is detrimental lol. I am determined to fix it up though, or at the least run it until one day I can find a tin top body to replace it.
I'd fix up the Frankenzuki with the Yota axles. Clean up the welds, swap in a power steering box and run some new brake lines. Shame that black one got rolled that thing is mint otherwise.
Bro HOW are you finding these? I live in philly and they are like 6k-12k around here for even junky looking ones. I’ve been searching everywhere for a semi decent one that runs drives has a title for me and my 15yo son to build and probably surprise him by giving it to him when we finish it. I can’t find them, and you grabbed another 5. I’m jealous LOL
