On todays video I introduce you to my newly purchased 1998 Camaro Z/28 catfish we go over the condition the car is in and future plans and build ideas I have with this car so I hope you enjoy!
i get that but something about that high pitch 5.7 screaming in that aluminum block just sounds amazing but i feel that those LT1 had deep small block sound
I had one from 2015-2018 and it was the absolute best four years of my life!!! The T tops were awesome and I had the best road trips around the state in this car. I miss it the most out of all the cars I have owned! :D
I remember when 4th gens were dirt cheap. I bought a flawless red 1995 LT1 TA in 2006 for $6000. SLP ram air hood and functional intake. I had to sell it in 2009 when I got sick and regret it to this day.
Great to see a 4th gen camaro channel. New sub here. I owned a 2nd gen '80 Z28. 3rd gens are my favorite, but I do love the catfish. I can't wait to see what you do with her.
I agree with Joe S! You got a eye for classic cars and if you build this right and invest the time and money big things will follow! Look you almost at 1,000 view right now but I can see you getting 100,000 views in the near future!
Man, thats one beautiful car! My brother has a silver one just like it. He put a set of gapless rings in his last spring and the chicks really dig him! Those gapless rings would be so sweet on your car. Cant wait to see your new rims on there.
Beautiful car! I've owned fourth gen f-bodies for 23 years and absolutely love them. You need to get the security light issue fixed ASAP. It's a VATS issue, and eventually the car won't start. The easiest way is to get the ignition cylinder lock replaced.
It is good to see you back with another video! When I first saw the white camaro pull up my mind was confused as I watched all your updates on your other camaro. This is a clean 1998 I will for sure be following all updates as this car has a lotttttt of potential! I think with new rims, window tint and a fresh paint job your youtube channel will become my favorite on RU-vid! 😁
It looks somewhat like a slow pokey Chrysler Sebring especially in white. I have a white 98 Z28 convertible and chose it over a red one because I know the cops don't give my car a second look. I have always liked red cars but I can't say as much for liking to get pulled over. Good choice.
My first car was a 77 Camaro , and I've had a 1984 and a 1988 . I currently have a 95 catfish , but it hasn't been started in the last two-plus years . I really need to get off my ass and fix it up , but my Ranger gets me around so I never think about it .
Not a fan of 4th gens but just looking at this one makes me feel like its christmas or something lol the things NICE. I just got a 87’ z28 5 speed myself💪🏽 z28 T-top gang!!!
I'm literally going to see one next Saturday. It's a 98 Z28 silver grey. One owner, garage kept. She wants 5k. Seems good. It's also a t-top. Questions: how easy is it to rewire? If I wanted to put in a sound system and maybe a touch screen navigation setup? Should I even bother with a car that old? And is the exhaust crazy loud?
@@chazwould hey man thanks for responding. I appreciate it. I just found your channel today and I glad. New subscriber here! Can't promise I won't hit you up with more questions lol
@@chazwould I'm going to go watch the one where you posted new tires. I wanted something a little nicer than factory rims, but I definitely don't want to do too much. I just wanna make it nice for the year or so I'll be in it. If money wasn't an issue what brand of tire and style of rim would you suggest?
@@StevenEvens7125 If money wasn’t a issue I would still get the NITTO brand tires they are a great choice and for rims I would go with a Weld brand rim they look really good on 4th gens they are just a little more expensive from what I got, I bought my rims of fitment industries they have a super great variety of different styles and everything I’d take a look there first but Weld wheels are like the go to for these cars
Those cup holders are useless with tall cups. I stopped bringing drinks in the car due to how often they spilled. I never lived in a state with it where front plates were required, but it appears it's not using the oem front plate holder.
I have the exact same car but a 99 had her 12years will never get rid of have a built LS2 changed the tan to dark grey interior and straight pipe dumped Florida life 😂
@@chazwould well ok. Just throw the cheapest parts at it and drive it into the ground lol. If anything I say wrap it some crazy color and go do burnouts and pick up chicks lol
