Hoya LOVE to be root bound and to dry out like CRAZY before watering again. The only time I’ve gotten hoya blooms is when I’ve ignored the heck out of them.
I love inboxing. It always ex itesme and helps add to my wish list. Especially Hoyas and ficus. That’s what my future plants will be. I’m keeping some others i have and purging the rest of the oddball plants.
I got a Hoya Stenophylla about 6 months ago, and it quickly became a fave. It grows well for me in high light and high humidity. I’ve found it’s very thirsty. I keep it in a very chunky substrate with pon mixed in and keep it damp and it seems to love it. 😊
I love all of your new Hoyas, Fern! Earlier this year I went from not being super interested in Hoyas to now owning 45 varieties... the obsession is REAL!
Fern, I think you'll enjoy growing tiny miniature african violets, they're so so cute and easy to grow and they bloom prolifically! There so soo many varieties of them, with different shapes and colors and even with variegated leaves! I have several and I'm loving growing them 💕
I am so excited! I was able to get a few plants ive been wamting for a long time - a variegated vanilla orchid, the fun scindapsus Blue, and hoya serpens, Mathilde, and Perak Teddy Bear! Thanks for sharing your haul with us!

I've become quite the hoya girl but sadly a lot of my cuttings have not made it so I'm bummed about that. But....I got your merch in the mail and it's so cute! Can't wait to wear it!
Not in Canada, but Im picking up my monstera burle marx flame baby today. Small top cutting with great roots for 100 eur... I usually dont buy plants this expensive, but when I saw her, I couldnt resist... Hope she traveled safely 🙏

Happy Hoyas Fern I just got 5 my self this past summer I'm in love with 5hem and Fern I just today got one of my wish plant A Monstera Esquleto from Costa farms and its A Stunner. No more plant buying for me until the spring. But can I suggest for your new baby's I would put them in your Milsbo til spring then put them outside they will love it. And also Try hoya Sigillatis long form and the round in the summer they turn Red and there Beautiful. OK have fun with your baby's Love Ya Honey ❤😊
Love them all and no complaints that they were almost entirely hoya 😁 Don't be so hard on yourself about getting content out to us! Yes, we want it and love it, but I think most, if not all of us also care about your mental health more than getting a lot of content from you. Being self-employed is not an easy thing to do or always keep up with. Make sure that you take care of yourself, especially with winter coming and potential seasonal depression!

I got a Hoya stenophylla from Plant Haven Toronto back in the spring - and she may look dainty, but boy she really grows fast! One of my favourites, hope you enjoy it!

I put most of my Hoya's outside over the spring/summer and every single one of them bloomed! I was so surprised! My Bella blooms a lot indoors, I never put her outside.
Hi Fern, I am not a particular hoya fan, but girl, you just made me put two hoya on my wishlist! Your hoya stenophylla is gorgeous, quirky and different and suits my desire for weird plants perfectly. The hoya UT-001 Sumatra is just simply very beautiful. It is always a joy to watch your unboxing videos, because your enthousiasm for all the plants is infectious, but sometimes watching your videos is very dangerous for our wallets 😉

Oh man, I don’t have any hoyas, but ever since I saw your Polyneura and how well it grew, I wanted one. I saw planthaven Toronto had the variegated one, and I’ve had my eye on it for a while, but I went to go check the day I got the sale email and it was sold out 😭
I found Planthaven Toronto way more expensive than my home nursaries unfortunately. But that means I don’t need to ship across Canada right now though!
I love your hoyas. These are all so cute. I think the very first one you opened was my favorite of these. You make a really good point about their size being more manageable compared to monstera etc. I love the big big plants but don't have tons of space. Super fun. Thanks for sharing 💚✨🌿
So many beautiful Hoyas! I hope they end up blooming for you. My hoyas are 1 year old, from propagated cuttings. I too wait for blooms. I've heard they need a lot of light, so I have positioned them on my western facing windowsill and in summer, go outside for fresh air and eastern sun. Thanks for another fun unboxing!!! 💗🎁🪴
