Man, poor guy. I feel for him. PSA: If you've never bought a car before, take an experienced friend with you or pay someone $100 for their time and advice. I've bought new and used cars multiple times and still feel like dealerships will get the better of me somehow. Be prepared to walk away from the deal if you're uncomfortable.

I financed a car for 15k for 28% definitely didn’t know what I was doing but I just felt like I did a horrible thing..I started doing some research to see what I got my self into.. once I did I went to the dealer ship and told them if you guys don’t do a rewind on my contract I will put a bad review and so they took the car back and got my deposit back..I really did get lucky there 😅

That's nothing I signed myself up for 28% back in 2016 and have since payed it off. The goal was to refinance until I found out most banks will not accept anything over 130000 miles. Long story short I basically bought the car twice felt disgusted after getting the title and reading over the breakdown. Good news is the car still drives as it did when i purchased it and i will it until it blows up. Also I stay away from all consumer debt as of now and If I can't purchased it cash I can't afford it.

Yes, there are Prepayment Penalties in some contracts that basically force you to pay full interest. A prepayment clause may make it impossible to pay the principal down. Instead, that additional amount goes toward your next monthly payment. Precomputed loans calculate the full price of a vehicle and interest rates in the loan, and the borrower agrees to pay off both. This is another way lenders ensure they receive as much interest payments as possible if you decide to pay the loan off early.
