Today I made a special video where ‪@GoWithAli‬ and I bought a surprise item for each other in Divisoria Market, Manila. No Chickens were harmed in the making of this video.

Harry wish you hadn’t titled it I bought a chicken as it was hilarious knowing what you were buying but would have been even funnier if you hadn’t mentioned it 😂 It was your reaction when the guy handed it to you and you said have you got a bag 😂 😂 😂 How does it feel having ginger hair ? Did you notice when you were India and Pakistan, there were NO women in the open markets? Just men. In the Philippines, the women are treated equally and there are no raised eyebrows because it is very common and a tradition.

Those were different kind of markets - he roamed around Old Delhi and such - places which most Indians themselves won't go, let alone with their families. There are way too many of such markets too where women run the stalls. Infact, almost all of tribal Northeast is matriarchal - many places where the groom actually lives with the girls family! 😅

Mr Hill. Indian and Pakistani females works in noble fields like Army, Navy Airforce Doctors Lecturers and so on even flying National carriers in both countries and countries in Far East where females have working in markets coz they are hardly educated and earning for families Do not underestimate Pakistani and Indian females.

be extra careful when roaming around the Philippines..just other countries, ours is not as safe too especially for foreigners. Although we Filipinos are kind and friendly, there are few exceptions. Be observant of the people and the surroundings wherever your team goes. Be safe and God bless your journey..watching from Macau

You guys are down to earth! You are able to explore the deepest alleys and corners of Divisoria like it was your local area. You heard the sales lady right when she spoke in Spanish when talking about how much the item was.

I agree about taking precaution and be on the watch (as there are exceptions) just like many places in the world. Otherwise, it was awesome that you enjoyed and learned from your shopping adventure at the world famous Divisoria. By the way, is the chicken your pet or something else? The last 20 years, English literacy has declined in the Philippines. Nowadays, the people in the streets have Grade School English levels. Before that, people at least finished high school. Nowadays, many have reached up to 2nd year high school only.
