This is what I've been wanting to see from the goonz, glad you're listening to the views! To many new cars being rebuilt, hate cookie cutter crap. This is original!
@@CHRIS112290 Pretty sure they stopped cuz B is for build started bitching about them saying that they were copying al his builds. He started his scuffed lambo at the same time.
H&P Customs I watch Vehcor channel as well. But his convertible is in much better shape than Vtune’s Mustang. But I agree. Let’s say than, those are the two best projects currently in RU-vid.
By far the most interesting and talent driven build on here. Its not just a bunch of sanding, rattle can spraying and parts swapping. This is building baby. Love it.
He's hard to listen to. No wiring would be bad. Hardly mentioned much else. Front airbags wouldn't go off in direct side collision. Not very intelligent dude.
I literally watch the entire skippable ADS on your videos so you can get those extra bucks towards your builds, keep up the good work and love your videos Mr. Vtuned. I'm a Huge Fan
@@jackand100others3 not ready yet to even store the car while getting parts but one step at a time. Even if i have to spend more on a nicer body save cost for the conversion maybe ill get a chance to buy vtunes after he is done.
I'm from Brazil! This series will be very cool. !! I will give jewelry in all videos. From what I can see, I put the engine from red to blue.! It will be very good in my opinion.! Congratulations ! This red mustang is well crumpled !!
This build is amazing!!!! I so excited to see other channels building classic muscle cars. I can’t wait to see this come together. I am building a twin turbo 6.0 LS 1971 GS on my channel. It was barn find that sat for 40 years. It was a dream of mine to be able to finally buy it it took 13 years but she’s home and she’s going to be awesome. I can’t wait to take it out for the first time
There is a flat hooked tool that slides between the window trim and the glass, You slid it along till you find the clip , hook it, to release the clips that hold the trim in place.
Converting that 'Stang to a fastback would be really cool. Everything you're taking on here is a major project but I've seen your vids and I know you can do this, over time.
This is an amazingly talented young man who deserves sponsorships and new facilities. He can go as far as he wants to in the collision or restoration business!!
Very cool project. Years ago I had a friend who converted a 66 from a mid 90s doaner Car’s 5.0. He converted to power windows and left the interior 66 for the most part. He also updated the rack and pinion and to coil over. Fun car and much improved over the original spam can.
The driver, (if he / she was the owner) created his / her own accident by removing a good handling suspension and replacing it with show quality rubbish, no real sympathy
You mustang build, Dylan McCool’s classic Mopar muscle, and lunarOutlaws garage 71 GS I feel like youtube is finally over the rebuilding Lamborghinis and Ferraris fad and finally going to give love to the old muscle cars
@@urbandisturbin ya I am tired of all the Ferraris and Lamborghinis. I also like uncle Tony’s garage but he doesn’t really do much ranching as much just really insightful
I love these classic Mustangs. They’re just beautiful. I know someone who had a 64 1/2, and later a 66. Loved them. I hope to own a classic Mustang one day. Also I love the blue color it’s painted!
Rob Munroe I was thinking why was he wasting time with a notch back? Not sexy. Two thumbs up on the fastback conversion. Now he really has my attention👍🏾
I just hope he leave the interior alone for the most part like the dash and door panels and leave the body alone. Everything you can’t see make it better than when this car was build. This engine in this car will be killer.
@@ratj4715 + He will keep it with manual stick.. super sweet ! not sure about fastback conversion though.. i would keep it just how it is.. but i guess we will find out !
I am really liking where you're going with this. I have wondered how to make a 2015 IRS fit in a 64-66. If you figure that out there will be a lot of happy people out there. And thumbs up for taking on the fastback conversion. I think you have the skills, the tools, and the time... It will make the car look much better IMO.
Or maybe you have, and you didn't know it wasn't originally a coupe? I don't know how you'd know unless someone told you. There are kits. Not for the faint of heart though. www.stang-aholics.com/i-31487902-64-66-mustang-coupe-to-fastback-sheet-metal-conversion-kit.html
I’m so excited after watching this video because of what level of changes are going to happen to that old sad 66. Fastback will look awesome. Can’t wait for the future of this build 🤙
Hey Vtuned! You should be using plastic pry tools when yo are prying on those chrome window mouldings they are really thin, and dent easily. Looks like you will be replacing the floor board, do you remember what I said about the frame connectors? Get the floor panels and frame connectors done before you start cutting the front end up or you will twist that chassis to the point where it will be unusable. Keep up the great work.
This is a really great project, vTuned. Most people just swap the engine, but all the stuff you're looking to do is very creative and interesting, I can't wait for the next episode.
Doubt it, usually if there's a fatality in an accident, you'll find bright colored spray paint on the wheels/tires to mark where it ended up. Also, someone had to remove that air compressor from the trunk. People usually don't take parts like that from cars that a friend/loved one died in.
@@charles-davidberube1174 That very well may be the case, but they weren't wearing their seatbelt based on the fact that it didn't lock up - so they were likely tossed into the other side impact airbag.
I think this swap is insane and pretty cool at the same time. Can't wait to see the mustang running with the 5.0 engine. Good luck y'all 💪. Thanks for posting all this content. I'm learning so much from you. 👍
I mean it's like my S10 after I rolled it looked like I would have died but I climed out of the back window and I was fine just scratched and achy lmao
You're probably a handful of years younger than me and you're doing EVERYTHING I wish I could do with that exact project. I cannot wait to see it finished!
Vtuned just said a FASTBACK conversation! Wow this is going to be awesome! I wasn't sure why V was going thru all this trouble for a coupe well now we know! I thought about this same Fastback - 2005 Mustang swap back in 2007! Keep up the great content V!
What a build dude, haven’t seen many people do something like it, especially on RU-vid, it’s gonna be nuts, lots of work, but hopefully it’ll turn out amazing, can’t wait
No fear! I love it, you have the skills to realize your vision. Nothings gonna stop you from having one of the coolest projects on RU-vid. This thing should be at SEMA when your done!
This seems to be a very complex project. If Vtuned can pull it off it is going to be a milestone for this channel. Will follow up closely. Keep up the good work!
Wow..cool build here shaping up. My only worry is that motor not having oil. Those main bearings may have been hurt. Word of advice..go over that motor good. I'm sure that wasnt the first time it was beat on.
