I am not an expert or anything, but the torn pipe is not a boost pipe, it is just the inlet (it doesn't throw any error codes). It is a good idea to have a donor car, you can sell parts (the red interior is very nice) or keep it if you intend on flipping other Minis.
nice mate! just recently got a r56 S off facebook as a track project it also had the full red inside just got £400 for the lot and it wasnt even heated so your on to a winner already! love the mini project vids!
COOOOL! I was wondering, the cylindrical metal spacers in the top engive valve cover as well as the ones in the intake manifolds, what are they called. Lost a couple of mine and have been unable to find new ones. While I have your attention. My tube going from the air filter box to the turbo is broken and wont sit on the turbo no mater how hard you squeeze that clamp. Any recomendations for replacement pars or DIY sollutions that are not to crappy? :D Live in norway so quite hard to get my hands on simple parts like silicon elbow pieces etc without a fortune XD
