Hey, I know that you have a stronger face then I have or at least a different kind of faith. Do you ever stop before you go into a storage and think about the person who couldn't pay to keep their belongings, or whatever the situation was that it wasn't paid? Do you ever say like a little prayer for their well-being or whatever you believe in. I'm pretty sure I heard you talk about your beliefs before. I know what it's like to be very very rich and I know what it's like to be very poor now. If I have one thing go wrong in my life I will not be able to keep my own belongings! The best of what I have left is in storage and it's taking almost 100% of my income. 99% of my family and friends have passed. So if I had a problem I would lose everything. So as you go through people's stuff thank the universe that you're getting it. And ask the universe to take care of whoever lost it. Please! XOXO
You may already do this, but have you checked with local animal shelters to see if they can use the comforters, blankets & pillows for pet bedding? They can also use unsaleable clothing and fabrics to stuff into old pillowcases to use as beds. Our sewing group collects our too small for quilting off cuts and scraps in old pillowcases, sew up the end when full, & donate to an animal shelter. They love them.
Renee is a sweetheart. Love her channel as well as yours. Looks like some great finds and you should make your money back and a lot more. Stay warm safe and may you always be blessed.
With furniture, you’ve got to pull out the drawers and check for false bottoms or backs and behind them, too. Furniture that’s broken and pieces not salvageable-that’s what your sledgehammer is for before it goes in the trash can. Stay safe and keep warm!
We've found money in rolled up clean socks. We've found money in shoes. Taco, you are correct; look EVERYWHERE. We found $300 inside a roll of paper towel inside a vintage thing that hangs on the wall and holds foil, plastic wrap. Cool.
Really enjoy your and Renee's videos. You have to go through everything, I deal in used and out-of-print books and the largest amount of money I've ever found was 12 $50 dollar bills sitting in the front of a book. It was at a public auction and no one apparently looked at that book in that box let.
Amazing! I picked up a side table by the side of the road once. Apparently they couldn’t open it because a UConn yearbook was jamming it up. I was able to free it up, and there was jewelry, coins, pins and all sorts of stuff! Congrats, Taco! ☮️
I would be checking pockets on those clothes and making sure the shoes are empty bags are empty. Great one. BB King's one of the greatest guitar players that ever was.
I know you hate storage click bait, so I couldn't wait to see the money you found. Was afraid the coins in that drawer was all of it lol. Congratulations on your real money find!
Hey there Taco. Today was a great day of finding treasures and money in a storage unit that you brought. I'm glad that you had Rene in helping you out. Have a great day and keep on doing what you do.
You got a great storage unit! And not just because of the $80. Don’t undersell those great old jazz and blues records. Vinyl is still very popular. Maybe you should take Salsa with you and have her walk up and down the hallway to keep the lights on while you’re working. 🤣 But I’m glad you do have PAM with you to help. By the way, take a look at those record artists. You should definitely check them out on RU-vid. They’re some of the best musicians who ever lived.
Posh branded handbags and shoes tend to come with dust covers so that Coach drawstring bag is likely to be real for a bag - I hope you fibd the bag in the unit.
When I was working I found change all the time. I was in and out of my vehicle all day long. I kept a small bottle as a bank. Averaged about $5-$6 a year which went to my grandson. Not much but found money. I’ll still pick up a penny. Looks like some nice flea market stuff.🐎✌️
OMG Taco Stacks you scored an awesome 1990-2000's unit my sons era. Wow those Timberland boots my sons called them Beef & Broccoli $$$. The tee with Lincoln Park should have some value. Hugs and kisses for Queen Salsa and Queen Gracie. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!
You guys work well together. Raggedy tees don't matter. Tees with cigarette burn holes are in great demand if it's vintage! Don't toss those. Put up on ebay and give it a shot!
That t-shirt is from a concert called Live Aid...the DVD of that concert is out of print and sells for well over $100 alone so that shirt probably has some good value to it
To tell if cast iron is the old good stuff, rub you fingers on the inside of pan. If it's very very smooth with no bumps, it has been machined using the old methods. It's the good stuff. Newer cast iron has small bumps. When you do this the first time, it's easier if you have an old and new piece side by side. Granted a really dirty or rusty pan may be a guess until you clean it.
The cast iron frying pans may not have makers names, but may still have value if pre60s which are not marked Made in USA. BSR ( Birmingham Stove & Range) , Unmarked Lodge & Volwrath among others have stamping formula which helps to I’d them. There’s good Cast Iron info on RU-vid videos so help ID your pieces. Good luck. Woohoo found some cash now taco stacks will be really hooked on storage units. I'm dying to get into storage units for my business but I'm not strong enough to unload a storage unit. I can store it, I can sell it, I've got the money to buy it, but I don't have the muscles required to go through what's in most storage units. Hey I just realized what I need is a partner. Somebody else can do the work and I'll look through the things and film it!
Taco your channel is always a great show. Here’s a little advice put a ring on that girl. You and paper moose would make an awesome cute couple! Anyway keep up the great work.
Yes keep the items with the wrappers .Animal shelters would love beding, dog or cat carriers and if you find any animal foods in them also they could use donations to help them out.any thing could help with birds too.Jus saying my friend and let Renee I love her too.:) yes im a full subs as well.Take care Taco hugs to Salsa as well.
Just sending some warm wishes and appreciation for "Ol'Taco Sacks". Enjoying your sharing, your morality/honesty (like, promptly returning that wallet found in The Bins, a few videos back, without a seconds dithering over should I keep it or do I do the right thing, nope, turned it right in, got it back to the man who thought he was going to have a lousy day. You, once again, showed what a GOOD PERSON you are!), and your courage in putting yourself out there, fearlessly, to teach us and entertain us.
I love when you can find one item that pays for the unit but when they leave money that paid for the unit even better!! It's all profit!! Nice locker Taco 🙏🥰🙏
My advice for furniture pieces with drawers...pull them out and look on the back side of the drawer as well as on the inside of the piece. I have found money, drugs, and even a gun, taped to the interior walls of a dresser/bureau before.
