M sports have black headlining. M47 known to be reliable and less timing chain issues compared to N47 which are more known for that.

You come across as very negative considering it’s a£350 car mate. If I paid £350 for that I’d have zero complaints

I've got a same age & mileage e91 which is still going strong. I'll try and keep it going for as long as possible, as there's nothing to beat it for comfort and reliability, although it's had a replacement turbo and various electrical problems...

i got same one, currently 450k km on it and runing like a baby, just need to take care of him properly

nice vid 👍 320d M47 you can't go wrong. They are old now though so I'm guessing you are only going to be attracting those who know them or just want a cheap deal or run around. Northern ones are starting to look a bit crusty in the usual places though and over 180 thousand miles I think the suspension often is beginning to be a bit knackered on these. Good reliable motors that are fast enough to put a smile on the average man. I think the only weak points are the crank pulleys that go at moon mileage, alternator that will die after similar but also cooling hoses that do seem to let people down. Other than that probably one of the best driving cars still on the road these days - cant fault the hydraulic steering either - non of that electric playstation like steering with no feel you get on most modern cars now.

Good Video Mate, having owned at a guess 100 cars or so in the last few years including multiple BMW’s the E90 I still feel is an under rated car that holds its own in modern traffic and now at the stage you can pick up some real bargains. Subscribed….

Great video, the N47 has 3 timing chains, the upper one is the one that can go mainly due to lack of oil changes, so to see a 200k miler still running OK is good news

Even if that lasts him a year or two its been a good buy tbh, so everyones happy!

Just bought a 2005 320d e46 in Spain for 1000€ and its so bad in the exterior (mismatching bumper colors, original paint all scratched and getting off) and 150k miles and we consider it here a good deal... Real deals are in the UK! Great to see you guys are making profit even at these prices there.

I think they changed that start button too. Mate of mine has a standard one. Button is black.

My E90 10 plate n43 engine is 250k miles and still goes on I own it from 167k, service every 5k miles and still feels good the engine.

That is a m47 engine. Nothing for that engine mate m47 are great one of the best diesel engines made. 263k on mine runs perfect. N47 dreadful engines, they started going in from 2007 some 07 have m47 some have n47

Check out the timing hain on this one . Notorious n47 engine known for dropping it's chain. Superseeded in 2015 with a modified B47 engine

We all need to know this information. Every 5 years I buy a new( second hand ) car for my Mrs. Was able to buy a 6 year old vw sharan 130 diesel 11 years ago- 6 years ago it was an 8 year old focus Zetec climate, a year ago we bought a 11 year old focus zetec estate with 90k on it. Don't forgot we were all 17 once and had ago at the old rattle can respray with the RS or M sport go faster stripes and stickers . Some other 17 old will love that car as his first run about ..remember at that age I was only interested on how comfy the back seat was and loud the stereo went to...😁 Keep the content coming your one to a good earner here.

I got 20k out of a rattling duel mass and then clutch started slipping and I lost first gear. Bought it with the slight noise and it drove fine and for long enough that the car ended up free from the use I got out of it then I sold it on and got a decent wedge for it on copart.

This is M47 163hp, if maintained properly, it will run 300k miles. No chain issues. Exhaust pointed downwards mean it has no DPF - cats only. Change crankcase ventilation filter

I've been offered a 320d m sport business edition Estate outo . Top spec . 2010 . 135000 miles full service history one oner. Is £7000 over the top for this car . Its excellent condition but am I paying way more than its worth . Eney feedback would be appreciated . Great channel too .

It needed a new dual mass which probably meant new clutch too while you’re in there. That’s 450 quid on parts. If he didn’t do it himself then it’s 300 labour. So he’d be 1600 in for a 200k 06 320D with that dodgy paint and future jobs such as rear brakes and pads. Poor guy 😂

Try and buy that bimma in the usa for that price. At least we can get a beemer for £800 here in da uk. You couldn't even get a shitty honda there for less than 2k.then you know the value of cars.
