Instagram-Superchuckcw Facebook-chucky wright the from is sweet but not fast enough nuff said, need a bigger bike. for sale now. message me on instagram for pricing.
I like your honesty and straight-forwardness. Subbed. I been looking at the grom cause my fjr1300 is a bit too big sometimes E: also wanna say. Not at all rich, I picked up a used fjr for 6k with 8k miles and just got done paying it off after 4 years lol
I don't think it's actually 78mph the gearing changes likely made the speedo inaccurate and the previous owner didn't add a speedo healer to calibrate the speedometer to an accurate speed. Only way a Grom is ever gonna get close to 80 or more is a big bore kit, or maybe a turbo kit.
@@kylemarts6367 Some people can. I almost threw my 350+ bike over a fence after I wiped out on gravel because I was really upset and full of adrenaline (I picked up the whole bike for a second with one hand completely off the ground). I was below 100 pounds when I did that... Normally though the most I can probably lift is 200 some pounds because I'm a twig, but really the hardest part is just balancing it there (which you only need half a second for a photo). Could have even just had someone slap him in the face to hop up on adrenaline but he looks pretty buff in a few shots. You can also lock your arms and lean back with heavy objects like bikes if you ever need to (it may injure your back, but I've lifted many things this way my arms weren't capable of, plus you also use your leg strength)
I love my 2022 Grom with the 5 speed transmissions. I have full exhaust intake and tune and can attest it will get to 60 MPH granted it was downhill lol but it is on stock front sprocket so who knows if the speedo is accurate. Plan to use gps this year now that riding season is here for me in new england.
Get a 701sm if your looking at upgrading for a faster bike the first thing to do to it is a concept seat because that has been the only complaint riders have of that bike. I’m itching to get one too.
Nice video man! i really want to get a motorcycle this summer, would you recommend a Grom as a starter bike? the guys at the dealership was trying to sell me a Rebel 500 but I think thats overkill for a first timer
Hey man, it looks really depends on the mind of riding you want to do. I just started riding two summers ago and I got a cbr300, and by the end of the summer I wanted something bigger and faster. The gross are great to bomb around and mess around but not good for highway or long distances. If you want to take road trips than a bigger engine and not a sport bike would be best...if you think you are more interested in speed than I would start with a 600 because you can have it for years before you feel the need to upgrade.
@@willbuesseler8739 thank man! I'll ask my friend to test ride his 600 when i get my endorsement and see if i like it. I probably will since I like going fast in my car
@@FranciscoSantos-uz8ep I purchased a new 2020 Rebel 500 as my first bike and it's an excellent starter bike. I already want the 1100 now. I personally wouldn't bother with anything less especially if you plan on riding on the highway. My 500 revs a bit higher than I would like riding on AZ highways.
Grom is 125 cc. Anywhere between 125 and 500 is very reasonable for a first time rider. Most people go on the higher end of that. I did the MSF course on a 250 cc TU250 and found a great deal on a used one that I've been riding for 4 years now. I'm 160 lb and it handles highway speeds just fine (though I don't ride on the highway much). If I was doing more highway riding, I'd want something with more fairings. I did visit a dealership and saw somebody loading a Grom into the back of a minivan, so that is a huge advantage of a Grom/similar. Regardless, I'd stay away from dealerships though. They have a huge markup. I found my TU250 with some patience in the off-season on FB Marketplace.
Great video ngl tho the best part was you mentioning your weight nobody states how much they weigh and me being a big buy thats important info to know before purchasing. Thanks again!
On the new bikes if you have the kickstand down and you switch to first gear it kills the motor until you put up the kickstand and hold clutch and obviously turn back on the bike
😂😂😂 more like the stupid riders out there weaving in between trafdic crazy or passing while traffic isn't slow between the middle I hate motorcycle drivers think weee sposed to move for them and the have right away cuz there ona bike ... I respect the ones that signal and ride right but most don't so fuck the ones that don't if they fall
What all has been done to it to get it to do almost 80? I’ve been told top speed is like 65 on a grom I know you read the list of stuff but what actually gave you more top end?
Belly pan looks sick….love it. I hate being a skinny man but seeing how much you need to spend to get to 78 and I can do 76 standard ….it has its perks to be built like a racing snake 😆🫣
It's a gearing thing, most likely. Before I put a speedo healer on mine, just changing the front sprocket to 14 teeth, my speedo was off by double digits...showing high. With a 14-35 gearing I had to correct the speedo more than 16% (lower) with the 12 O'clock labs speedo healer. Now my speedo and GPS pretty match. And it keeps the bike from racking up extra mileage on the odometer.
How much for the 2017 model?? Im 17 and really into bikes but my dad wont buy me an actual bike and im pretty small statured too (im 5’4) so i think this may be perfect for the time being (of course i cant ride this at 25)
78mph just doesn’t make sense. When my cb300r gets 70mph the shake makes me uncomfortable after the trip(and the only highway for it from Ann Arbor to Southfield, yeah another Michigander here). It will have more fun within its range and I will only ride my r6 on highway for the comfort
Hello my friend i’ve bought a honda grom recently but i have a problem When i turn the key it automatically start☹️ Before i hold start key it work Can you help me ?
For quick emergency stops isn’t it better to stop without holding the clutch so at least the engine brake helps you out a bit and then hold the clutch in right before you stop?
yeah 4k for a used few years old bike. why not go to the Honda dealership and buy a NEW one for 3k? and then mod it out to be quick and snappy? that’s what i’m gonna do soon.
I want a suggestion.... I'm 4 feet 6 inches.... My legs are about 660mm honda grom's seat height is 770 maybe.... Can I ride this?? Plz do reply me 😢😢💔
