The decision has been made - Motocross.
Test rode a 2018 Husqvarna FC350 and not long after the bike was on the back of our Bakkie on the way home...
Probably one of the happiest days in my life.

My boy said “I’m still getting to know the track” You’re just getting to know how to ride! In all honesty the faster you go the more balance you will have. Work your way up little by little on jumps and learn to use your weight to turn the bike instead of actually steering. Lots of tutorials but nothing beats actually riding. I would learn how to corner and practice turn balance because you gain more confidence on jumps after you already learned to corner and push the bike around

Don't worry about jumping until you can crank around a rougher track & corner well. .....make sure you can brake tap as well. I just bought a 2022 fc350.

Hey Das Atom, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately sold the Husky, got a KTM SX-F 450 shortly thereafter.💪🏻 I have seen the bike on social media, it looks like the new owner is enjoying it!🏁

@@stevetdesigns, I came across a great deal with the KTM. Sold the Husky shortly after, the maintenance on both bikes can become quite costly and labour intensive. I’d recommend both of them, but the 450 suits me better, given my height and weight. I’d agree, as many reviews say, it’s an “old man’s” bike. A lot more comfortable, the bike doesn’t rev as high, you’re able to stay in a higher gear with ease. In comparison, I’d say the Husky almost had a two stroke feel to it. A lot more involved, but it could definitely keep up to the 450. The weight felt relatively the same, if not better on the KTM.
