Actually; I am a Pagan and do viking age reenactment, my daughter is a taxidermist. The contents of our storage. My old ritual tools and books; bones and sculls of every description, horse tails, hides, pieces of leather. Stacks of heavy linen and wool. Weapons and parts of weapons (pre gunpowder) Garments that SEEM to be inexplicably old.... I wouldn't be surprised if there was an old weed pipe in there somewhere. LOL. Don't be TOO scared. And really, for the right craftspersons, that is a serious haul! Love your videos!

Just for the record, there is a difference between wicca, witchcraft and the occult. It depends on the individual practitioner on what path they choose to follow. Do not throw those away, something might be attached to those items. The best thing to do is bury the items, deep enough, so that no else can use them for darker reasons, somewhere away from your own house and family.

The symbols are called sigels and used for many things. The pentacle with the quarter moon on either side typically represents the moon goddess.

Lion means 92.5% sterling, C means something similar like 90%, and swan means from certain well respected French maker. I think anyhow. Going to unpause and watch more now!

Zooarchaeologist here. You've got several deer skulls and limb bones. The smaller skulls look like raccoon and maybe opossum. Definitely could sell the lot for crafting.

Others have probably told you, but a pentagram in a circle is a pentacle. Wicca/other Neo-Pagen religions use it. It can be used as a symbol of connections/life. A pentagram is a regular 5-pointed star polygon. I’m reading up on it, lol. Interesting. It’s been used throughout history. Like a symbol of Jerusalem, health by Pythagoreans, and a Christian symbol for the 5 senses. Oh. I remember this next one. It was in the poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It was on Gawain’s shield.

It seems more left-handed path stuff. The Sigils are a big give away. Sigils are often used to summon things or energies. Sigils also become common usage when Aleister Crowley and Chaos Magick made them more popular. It is interesting how much religious stuff has pagan roots because of the Roman Empire.

This is correct. They are in fact illegal to sell but in many instances they are also illegal to own as well, regardless of whether you yourself killed the bird they came from or if you found it on the side of the road and simply took the feathers. It can be a hefty fine for each feather in your possession. Eta: pretty sure this actually includes most birds of prey.

@@MissMelissy my understanding is due to them being heavily protected in general. They're considered priority species and I also believe there are some treaties with American tribes involved as well. Since they cannot discern whether collected feathers came from falling on the ground or from people poaching these birds for their feathers my understanding is that even having them is illegal for most people with tribal exceptions to that end.

This person was definitely an artist and into arts and crafts. Many of those items may have been used to make and sell eclectic jewelry pieces and such at swap meets, garage sales or more rather at flea markets. The spiders are usually dropped into resin to create earrings, rings, necklaces, hair clips, etc. I saw a couple up in the Moultrie ga. Swap meet who had earrings and necklace’s made from animal skulls. Some people even make bone carvings similar to how ivory was used. I sold antlers and single pieces of antlers for $10-100 up there. The vial and tubes could be been used for homemade scents, as well as herbs and dried flowers for soaps and lotions. I’m waiting to see an air brush. God Bless!😇

The guitar is an Epiphone SG Standard. Depending on the year and exact model (difficult to see, should be a number on the back of the head), I think you easily get between $350-500 for it with the case.

The metal cone type thing with string around it is called a plumbob A plumb bob is a pointed weight attached to the end of the string and is used to find a vertical reference line called plumb. Plumb is the vertical equivalent to a spirit level. Plumb bob has been around for thousands of years, dating back to Ancient Egypt

As much as I hate to say it. Those are not English silver marks. I think the center mark is Turkish. It's just plated. You can see the brass coming through on the bottom of the feet. It's not very old.

Correct! But, the word Pagan is Old English, meaning "Country Dweller," or in layman terms "outsider", or being other than social mainstream. The first recorded use is by the Polytheistic Romans to describe the Monitheistic "Christians" of the time. So yes, Paganism is not Satanism, but Satanism (a construct of Christianity from the 1600s, used to frighten people to God) does fall under the Pagan umbrella.

Some girl left her stuff at my house years ago. She lived a few states away and told me not to worry about getting it back to her. Went through it and it was all ritual stuff like this. I hadn't talked to my preacher dad in about a year but I called him that night and said come over and do your thing big dawg! I want the screaming be gone demon! The water and everything!

That brass pointed thing is called a plumbob , You would use the string and let the brass pointed thing hang, it would give you a straight line for building.
