The last true masi, I’m on my second one. 2015 mc, red and black interior, I updated the infotainment system and the climate control which really made a huge difference inside, the interior is what makes it so dated, the sticky buttons. They literally didn’t change much from 08-18 besides a few esthetics. I got mine because the looks and the sounds!! Love yours too!
Hey Thanks for the love! Did you do the infotainment update yourself? I heard it makes the music sound better but I'm afraid to do it only because I fear it won't be reliable. Have you had any issues with your unit since installation?
@@PradigyMusicman so me and my buddy installed both units at the same time, it’s been really smooth and fast, I can send you the link to the one I got, I added a front and rear camera, even the climate touch is super quick and feels factory. I can send you some pics to your ig aswell.
While I agree it is a great looking Maserati, saying it is the best looking Maserati of all time steps a bit beyond reality. I own one myself a 2011, in fact, I also own a 2011 GranCabrio S, but let us not forget the original Maserati Ghibli is one sexy beast from the 1967 to 1973. The Khamsin is another awesome Maserati. I do think the GranTurismo is one of the finest modern cars ever to grace the roadways. Happy you love yours as much as I love mine. Cheers.

Thing is whether you've got an MC, a Sport, or a Straddle they get people`s attention. Only a Gran Turismo owner , admirer, or dealer really knows the difference. They all sound and look great. I also own a C7 corvette. My Gran Turismo always turns head. People unfamiliar with car walk up th he hood area all the time to read the name badge. Others take pictures with their cell phones. I can drive from Orange County to San Diego without seeing another Maserati of any kind on the road. Don't worry about repairs. If the car`s in good shape and been well cared for you be fine. I got Hagerty Classic car insurance here in Southern California. It's cheaper than All state on my C7.
Glynn thanks for the comment. You are 100% right about absolutely everything you said. I decided to keep my c7 bc the car experience was so different. C7 gets attention but the GT MC gets admiration. Nice to meet a fellow C7 & MC owner
Congrats!! Love the color. I own this car as well and you will not be disappointed. I have never used the stereo because it disrupts from the engine noise. Keep up with regular maintenance and you will have a problem free experience.
Thanks! How has your ownership experience been with your GT MC? I was taking it for a ride yesterday to the speedway with my friend and He mentioned " you get a lot of attention in this!". I had completely stopped noticing people's attention, but I've had some wild reactions.
@@PradigyMusicman lol, right! It's been amazing. Knock on wood, haha... I had a guy in a convertible mustang look over and said sick ride, shes a beauty. 2 days ago....and I replied back and said thank you and I like yours as well. So I think the attention will always be there. Lol
I put a new battery on my Granturismo and figured it didn’t need to be on a battery tender since i was driving it once a week, but after 8 months or so, it started giving me a few dash lights, disconnected the battery and took it to NAPA to get it tested and they said the battery was good, after connecting again the lights still showed, so I put it on the battery tender overnight and all the lights went off. I always keep my car on a tender and have never had an issue again. So quick tip is to always keep it on a tender even on a new battery that gets driven once a week.
Thanks for that experience, I''ve been considering tendering it as of late due to the temp being lower. The dealership recommended it too, and they even prewired a tender hookup for me. For now I drive it about every other day even in the winter, but I'll probably start tendering it to check on battery status at least. I tender my Corvette and noticed that it really makes a difference.
My Maserati quattroporte M139 is my best car ever had, it’s older it’s a 2005, I bought it because it was dirt cheap and broken of course, bought it to part it out to make money, did a quick check on the car turned out to be a faulty key, locksmith made me a new key for $500 car driving since every day no problem, in 2 years haven’t seen a same car on the road like mine, but saw about 10 million BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Toyotas but no Maserati, anywhere I go people looking at me and the car like I came from an other planet.
Congrats....you will love it...I have a 15 Mc convertible....don't listen to the losers who say they are not reliable...never had an issue and it is the best gt car ever...I also have a Ferrari FF and I put the Maserati on the same level.....don't ever sell...it will only go up in value....that V8 is classic

2011 Quattroporte S (Ocean Blue) and we love it. My insurance premiums rather high due to "few speeding tickets and 1 accident" but it should decrease February 2023 🤑
Hahaha, that's crazy! It was between this car and a Ferrari California at HBI Auto. Since I didn't want to drive to Mocksville I went with the Maserati. As soon as I saw the car it was a done deal, take my money please!
how's it going now that you've had it for over a year? maintenance & otherwise. I've had my 2018 MC for a couple of years & no regrets. Regarding insurance, you don't have to have classic car insurance. This is my 2nd Maserati (had a 2013 years ago) & have had a claim or two but never an issue with insurance.
Nice car! Like the color. How has maintenance been so far? I’m currently looking at a 2018 with 9800 miles on it. I’m kinda scared of the maintenance and for it being problematic as well. It’s a MC as well
Hey Zak, go for it! 2018 has the upgraded infotainment system. The car is very reliable, never broke down. I bought mine at around 8k miles, I have put 3k on it so far. They have been building this car since 2008. I have seen high mileage ones which means they work most of the time. The experience of driving an exotic that sounds like this is unmatched. I get “nice car “ a lot but not obnoxious Ferrari level attention. A lot of people around NC don’t know what it is. Maintenance wise, just make sure you find a great Maserati/Ferrari service center. It will eventually need servicing and it will cost more than a corvette or regular sedan. This car is exotic and has Ferrari parts but it is not a super car.

Hey Tony! Nothing major. Mechanically all good. There was two small rusted plates underneath the car I got fixed by the dealer I bought the car from and they did so at no cost to me. Maserati(at that time) did not do undercarriage rust protection.
I though about it, but I honestly think the only thing the car really needs is a higher wattage sound system and a legit sub in the rear. My usb powered Bluetooth to aux adapter works great I had a similar setup in my BMW X5M that didn’t have Bluetooth audio. The sound system wattage is low, and adding a 5 channel amp would absolutely help but the car is Italian so adding an amp may not be the best thing
I'm sure you know your car, better isn't the front bumper out of 2013? You said this car is a 2012. I was just wondering. Can we tell us what you paid for it?
