Hey about the steering wheel, I have a 2023 rs6 with a flat bottom wheel and with lane assist. I live in the US so I don't know if it's a euro spec thing but I do think you could at least change to an oem wheel through factory!

Of course the quality is not good. It's an A3 with a different engine. It's not in the same class as the A6/7/8...

It’s literally just the UK right hand drives that don’t get the RS design pack Ireland and Australia etc. get them as an option also ours are fully optional there’s no Carbon Black or Vorsprung we can just choose whatever options we want😁

I think the interior looks terrible, totally agree with your re the quality (same as the Golf's) but it does look great from the front. Just likes the got bored at the back :) none the less, enjoy it !

The front of the car is a bit of a mess. Audi have lost their way in terms of design with the RS3.

I can’t believe how low the quality of the interior is!!! Cupholder reminds me of my 2006 8p

I do prefer the looks of the 8Y platform, but i have to say I prefer the simplicity and quality of the 8V interior. It was so clean and simple without glossy plastics or big screens. Also think the pre OPF DAZA's were the best powertrain, but the 8Y probably has a better chassis and DSG.

Definitely like the thoughts of jazzing up the interior a bit, I know Audi's are supposed to be a bit understated but that's a pretty boring interior for an RS product. Always love a 5 cylinder though!

Wowsers looks absolutely mega. I’ve always loved the saloon shape. I had an S3 Saloon back in 2015 and it’s still one of my favourite cars.

Only thing I didn’t like is the steering wheel…

Clicked onto this in seconds haha. Congrats mate. You can't beat blacked out Audis with gloss black wheels. My 8P S3 Black Edition in Brilliant Black has gloss black Rotors with the diamond cut lip. Wasn't so keen on them in pictures but seeing the car IRL they make it look so sleek and mean. The diamond cut 'accents' like on yours help stop the wheels looking 'lost' on the car. Excited to see the journey with this! I think the PPF on front end is essential really. The amount of stone chips the bumper, bonnet and wings that mine has picked up is quite annoying, in Black they really stick out... That paint correction/ ceramic/ ppf transformation is incredible!

I stuck my head in 1 in Audi while picking up some stretch bolts last week, the first thing I noticed was the plastic on the doors! Not the top part but like the second panel down, it looks just like what I’ve got on my crafter van 😮 What an awesome machine though, absolute weapon of a thing!
