Hands down my favourite channel on YT. You'll be doing this full time by the end of the year if the content stays the way it is and will be no more than you deserve Dean.
Agreed. This channel and Mat Armstrong are the only channels I subscribe to that I have notifications switched on for. I don’t even skip the adverts on this channel as I know it helps out.
Love this channel, always look forward the the next instalment of what ever it is that is being saved 👍🏻👍🏻 And I love an Audi so this is great content, keep it up!!
Glad to hear you say you are going to inspect the supercharger before replacing - would be very interesting if you could get it going short of replacement. Good Luck !
From the B8 RS4, to the Boxster GTS now you've taken it to a whole new level, I have been looking for a B7 RS4 Avant for months and you find a supercharged one! 👍👍👍👍
I bought mine new in 2009 and upgraded to APR supercharger in 2015. I think APR sold ME THE LAST supercharger they had and it set me back $17,000 installed. There isn’t a day goes by it doesn’t put a smile on my face. I still look back at it after I park. I still get buy offers from strangers at gas stations and car washes. Love the car!
Wow absolutely love these cars and this one is so special! Can’t wait to see the whole repair process. I am looking forward to this one. Please when it’s fixed take us the viewers on a lengthy blast in this beast 👍🏻
Is there double like button for this video? Hats off to you bought B7 RS, one of my favorite Audi RS. Can’t wait to see further detail and diagnose videos. Cheers!
I've loved these ever since seeing the red saloon version driven by Clarkson on Top Gear, all those years ago. Would have loved that car on those roads! All the best with the rebuild, am sure it will be a beast when it is done. Hope you can get the replacement parts ok!
Epic car! As someone else said, when reviving it you could hear the supercharger whine as you’d expect so are you confident it’s the supercharger? Good luck though, cracking purchase 👍🏼
You're killing it right now Dean!! I have no doubt you'll be doing this full time very shortly! Your channel definitely has given me motivation to keep uploading content on my own channel and keep pushing through! Would be great if i could pick your brain and see where i'm going wrong with my channel!
@@sho77y spraying methanol on the valves keeps 'em clean.....that's what I'll tell the wife when I meth port my car....ha. It's preventative maintenance !
My favourite car! Can't wait to see this finished, interested to see the inside of that supercharger, I thought you would have had a nervous twitch after the last 4.2v8😁 Great content as always 👍🏻
That is awesome the rumble when you started it up was unbelievable, I could just imagine flooring that going past a load of parked cars and setting the car alarms off or in a multi-storey car park
What a cracking car in great condition for it's age. I love the sound of that V8 and can't wait for the series of videos and the first drive once fixed 👍👍
Fantastic car with real road presence can’t wait to see this being worked on and then the big grin on your face when you road test it. Would like to be first in the queue to buy either RS as in the market and looking
Perfect car... wanted one from when they were first released... may still get one and supercharger it. Cannot wait for this project 👍👍 MRC are the boys for Audi... remember when they were getting going tuning S2’s, S4’s, RS6 and RS2.
Super content Dean. This should not be as bad as that RS4 B8 engine rebuild, rebuild & again rebuild. 😂😂 I will be following this as I do with all your other videos. 👍👍
My dream car, B7 RS4 Avant! Manual, 4.2 litre N/A, AWD, flared wheelarches, and simple to work on. Can find many sedans but almost no Avant, and this one is supercharged as well....
Lovely looking car Dean, just hope the engine doesn’t have to come out on this one too! Looking forwards to seeing how this car turns out, great channel keep up the interesting content, and thanks.
That’s the best car you’ve bought so far. Beautiful. Been in the audi world for years and I’ve never heard of TTS super chargers so it’s def NOT the most common.
Great content ....Recently I have heard of a number of issues with B7 RS4's with TTS chargers. This I think is down to lack of maintenance on the charger but also drawing high power from the engine tends to stress cylinder 4 more than the other cylinders and a number of TTS charged RS's have blown due to cylinder 4 running too weak mixture . Injector flow must be checked in these motors
Love the audi content especially when its a special great looking car like this.. and an estate. Wish I had the spare cash laying around to make an honest bid when fixed.
The other factory extras were dash phone holder, TV tuner and electric sunroof. Also heated front and rear seats , rear side airbags and NAV. The steering wheel and seats were also extra. At 120k, it will be down 100bhp without the supercharger. It will need a decoke and new or serviced injectors. You may also find leaking shocks which is common and expensive so coil overs best route. Best looking and driving RS4 by far.
Even the way it is now would do me but a supercharger strapped on unreal!, can’t wait to see this one, might even be finished before that engine finally goes back in other one😉👍
Probably the last best RS. Amazing car. Maybe a repair kit on the supercharger would be enough. Also this engine needs to be manually cleaned, this FSI generation has a some issues with calamine. Great car, nice project
Now then Dean what a lovely car. I'd save the money pull the supercharger bits off and have it bog standard. This is one of my fave modernish Audis it still looks fabulous. I know you'll fix the supercharger, and it will be awesome, my only question or point is, why keep the ropey b8 never mind the "new" s3 you bought ursen? I'd have the RS4 b7 over ANY of the previous ones maybe even the MUSTANG. Good luck, take care. Ben 🚌🚍🇬🇧🚂
I do love a B7 RS4. They look so right, just enough chunkiness without looking OTT like the latest cars do. Correct seats too. It’s a fab colour too. Mileage shouldn’t be an issue given the age.
