Labe each wire with a number mate . Create a chart so you connect each wire to the other wire and write the numbers down . Check the car systems as you go , see what starts working. Its not that bad as 5 wires are the same colour . So that's a start . Hope that makes sense

Worst thing about rovers is you have to have a scan tool to do basically anything. I just finished injectors and plugs on a 2013 sport and it just cranks no start 😂 pos! Pretty sure it's because I have to reset the high pressure fuel pump since the fuel rail was disconnected 😢 suuucks!
Well done on 200k Dean, been following you for a few years now. Still haven’t forgotten your first v8 rebuild on the RS4! That was scary moments stuff 😳You have moved on now and rebuilding VAG V8’s and S5’s is old hat. I like your down to earth analytical approach when working on these motors. The adoption of prefab wiring looms is also a great help when doing these complicated rebuilds. Great stuff Dean.👍🇬🇧😎
